NOVOB Multifunctional High Chair User Guide

ASSEMBLY
High chair
- Remove the legs from under the seat, click them together and mount the legs under the seat. Make sure that all legs are properly clicked into place and that the metal pin is visible everywhere. Then, put the chair on its legs and make sure that all feet point outwards. If the chair is not stable, follow this step again.
- Unfold the seat by straightening the armrests and the backrest. Then, place the cushion on the seat.
- Click the belt together so that all five straps are connected to the buckle. First, insert the lower strap, the crotch strap, through the lower slot in the cushion and fasten the crotch strap by inserting it through the slot in the seat. Pull on the strap to make sure it is fastened. Do the same for the two lap straps and the two shoulder straps. Then, pull the back of the cushion over the backrest.
- Attach the table by grabbing it in the middle at the front and clicking in the holder at the bottom. By then sliding the table onto the armrests, the table can be attached to the seat.
- Snap the footrest into the seat by sliding the footrest into both slots at a 45degree angle.
Low chair
- Remove the legs from under the seat and detach the feet from the legs. Fix the four legs with a narrowed end back under the seat. Attach the feet under the legs without narrowed end, on the side without the pin. Then mount the legs under the seat. Make sure that all legs are properly clicked into place and that the metal pin is visible everywhere. Then put the chair on its legs and make sure that all feet point outwards. If the chair is not stable, follow this step again.
- Follow steps 2 to 5 of the high chair assembly.
Chair seat
- Follow steps 2 to 4 of the high chair assembly.
- Remove the mounting straps from the packaging. For each mounting strap, attach the non-buckle strap to the strap with buckle. Do this by passing the strap through the center hole of the buckle and back through the hole on the outside. Then mount one strap on both sides of the seat by inserting the ends of the strap through the slots of the chair. Make sure that the closure side with the protruding band flap is facing the chair. Do the same for the other strap on the back of the seat.
- Snap both straps open, place the chair seat on the seat and fasten the straps around the seat. Tighten the straps so that the chair seat is firmly attached to the chair. Pull on both straps to make sure the straps do not come loose.
Cart
- Follow steps 2 to 5 of the high chair assembly.
- Mount the five wheels under the seat by fixing them in the appropriate holes under the seat. Make sure that the pins of the wheels are at least 1 cm deep in the holes.
- Remove the pull leash from the packaging and fasten the leash to the end of the footrest.
You can also use the cart without the footrest.
HOW TO USE
Fold & store chair
The chair can be folded as follows:
- Remove the plateau and footrest from the chair.
- Remove the cushion from the seat. To do this, the safety belt must first be detached from the cushion. Do this by unclipping the straps from the buckle and putting all five straps back through the slots in the cushion. Notice the straps remain attached to the seat. Click the five straps back into the buckle and place the belts inwards so that they do not protrude.
- Fold the backrest and armrests inwards so that you hear a click.
- Remove the chair legs from under the chair, unclip them and store them on the underside of the chair.
The chair can be stored as follows:
- Slide the table onto the folded seat. To do this, place the folded chair directly in front of you and slide the table horizontally over the chair from back to front. In this way, the table is mounted onto the folded chair.
- Put the other parts (cushion, footrest, tray, etc.) in the storage bag.
- Store the folded seat together with the storage bag.
Safety belt adjustment
The belt straps of the safety belt can be adjusted when using the chair. Do
this by adjusting the length of the clips on the straps.
Table adjustment
The table can be adjusted in 4 positions. This can be done by pressing the
holder at the bottom of the table and moving the table vertically.
Footrest adjustment
The footrest can be adjusted in 2 positions, hanging vertically or at an angle
of 30 degrees. This can be done by pushing the footrest backwards and moving
the footrest back- or forwards.
Tray usage
It is recommended to use the tray while eating. The tray can be easily
cleaned. Use the tray by placing the tray on the table. The hole in the tray
and table can be used to hang cutlery, for example.
Warnings
- Do not leave your child in the high chair without supervision.
- Stay close to your child.
- Assembly should always be done by an adult and away from children.
- Keep plastic bags and loose parts out of the reach of the child to avoid the risk of suffocation.
- Be aware of the risks of open flames and other strong sources of heat in the vicinity of the product.
- Be aware of the risk of tipping if your child can push their feet against a table or other object.
- Do not use the high chair if any part is broken, torn or missing.
- Do not use the high chair before your child can sit up on his own.
- Always place the high chair on a flat surface and make sure there is room to slide the high chair backwards.
- Risk of falling: do not let your child climb on the product.
- Do not place the high chair near furniture when the chair is not used at the table and remove the plateau.
- Periodically check the wear condition of the entire chair.
- When using the chair seat, always use the mounting straps and check that they are properly attached before using the chair seat.
- When using the chair seat, always check the safety and stability of the product on the adult chair before use.
- Do not use the cart to access stairs, steps, and uneven surfaces. Do not use on sloping or unstable surfaces, near swimming pools or other sources of water.
- Do not use accessories or replacement parts not produced by NOVOB®; this can put your child’s safety at risk.
- This product is intended for children who can already sit upright unassisted and up to 3 years or a maximum weight of 15 kg.
- Do not use the high chair as a step.
- The chair may tip over if a child hangs from the tray or if excessive weight is placed on the tray.
- This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with this product or use it in a position not recommended by NOVOB®.
- Always use the safety belt.
- Do not place the high chair in the vicinity of solid objects and benches to prevent injuries from falls and the reach of dangerous objects.
- Do not place the high chair near walls, furniture, hot liquids, window covering strings and electrical cords.
- Never place more than 5 kg on the tray.
Cleaning and maintenance
Wipe the seat and cushion with a damp cloth. Wipe off excess water with a dry
cloth to prevent rusting. Moisture causes cracks in the paint. We advise you
not to use any detergent or microfiber cloths. The colors may change if the
high chair is exposed to sunlight. The tray is dishwasher safe up to a
temperature of 70°C.
Approved safety
The NOVOB® high chair with safety belt and plateau complies with the standard
EN 14988:2017+A1:2020.
Waste
When you no longer use the product, we request that you dispose of the product
separately from the waste for environmental reasons, in accordance with local
legislation.
