Product Usage Instructions

Before Installation

1. Disconnect power to the circuit by removing the fuse or turning circuit breakers OFF.
2. Verify that power has been removed by testing with a circuit tester at the outlet box.

Replacing Existing Device

1. Remove the wall plate and pull the existing device from the box.
2. Label the wires connected to the existing device.
3. Disconnect the existing device.

New Installation

1. Strip wires to a length of 1/2 using the stripping guide on the back of the device.
2. Use #10 – #14 AWG solid or stranded wire for installation.
3. Install the device according to the corresponding wiring diagram (refer to Figure 1).
4. Torque the terminal screws to 12-14 inch-pounds.
5. Mount the device to the wall box.
6. Attach the wall plate.
7. Restore power to the circuit.

DESCRIPTIONS AND DIRECTIONS

DESCRIPTION

• This device is a Combination Duplex Receptacle and USB-C Charger.
• The USB ports provide 6A total DC power at 5 volts for charging USB devices. USB ports are for charging purposes only and are not intended for data transfer.

DIRECTIONS

1. Disconnect power to circuit by removing fuse or turn circuit breakers OFF before installing. Before wiring verify that power has been removed by testing with a circuit tester at the outlet box.
2. To replace existing device, remove wall plate and pull device from box. If new installation, skip to step 5.
3. Label wires connected to existing device.
4. Disconnect existing device.
5. Strip wires to length of 1⁄ 2″ using stripping guide on back of device. Use #10 – #14 AWG solid or stranded wire.
6. Install device per corresponding wiring diagram. See Figure 1.
7. Torque terminal screws to 12-14 inch-pounds.
8. Mount the device to the wall box.
9. Attach wall plate, then restore power to circuit.
