Basic Operation

Charging
To charge the camera, connect it to a power source using the standard cable. The camera can be charged whether it is on or off. When inserting it into power, the camera will automatically power on and the red indicator light will turn on. It takes approximately 3-5 hours to fully charge the camera, after which the indicator light will turn solid green. -
Power On/Off
To power on the camera, push the power button down for 3 seconds in the power- off state. The camera will turn on and enter the standby mode of real-time monitoring. In standby mode, push and hold the power button down for 3 seconds to turn off the device. -
Take Photo
To take a photo, ensure the camera is powered on. Press the audio record button to start/end the audio recording in the power-off/on the state. Press the play button/confirm/OK button to enter the photo mode. Press the volume+ button to increase the volume and turn on/off the IR light. Press the volume- button to decrease the volume and select downwards in the menu. Press the play button/confirm/OK button to take a photo. -
Video Recording
To start video recording, ensure the camera is powered on. Slide the power button up to start video recording in the powering on/off state. Slide it to the middle position to save the recorded video. -
Audio Recording
To start an audio recording, ensure the camera is powered on. Press the audio record button to start/end the audio recording in the power-off/on the state. -
Night Vision
To turn on/off the night vision mode, ensure the camera is powered on. Press the volume+ button to turn on/off the IR light. -
LCD Off Mode/Auto Power Off
To turn off the screen display, press the return/off-screen button. The screen can be turned back on by pressing any button. The camera also has an auto power-off feature that will automatically turn off the device after a certain period of inactivity. -
Files View/Playback
To view/playback files, ensure the camera is powered on. Press the play button/confirm/OK button to enter playback mode. Use the volume+ and volume- buttons to select the previous/next file. Short press the play button/confirm/OK button to play/pause the file. -
File Delete/Protection
To delete/protect files, ensure the camera is powered on. Press the menu button to enter the menu setting. Use the volume+ and volume buttons to select the file delete/protection option. Press the play button/confirm/OK button to confirm the selection. -
File Transfer/Connect Computer
To transfer files or connect the camera to a computer, ensure the camera is powered on. Use a compatible cable to connect the camera to the computer. -
Reset
If the camera crashes, use a pin to press the reset hole to reset the camera.

- Q: How do I format the card on the camera?
- A: When first using or changing the card, please format it on the camera. To format the card, ensure the camera is powered on. Long press the menu button to enter the menu setting. Use the volume+ and volume- buttons to select the format option. Short press the play button/confirm/OK button to confirm and format the card.
- Q: How often should I charge the A30 mini camera if idle for a long time?
- A: If idle for a long time, please charge the A30 mini camera every 3 months.

our mini camera. This manual is the introduction of the Z01 Mini body camera
which includes its functions, features, external structure, operation, and
caution items. Before using the product, please read the user Manual carefully
and keep it properly.

Basic Operation
Note:
Please format the card on the camera first when first using or changing the
card.
- Power on the camera (not on the record video/ audio state);
- Long press the button to enter the menu setting, and select the “format” option via and buttons;
- Short press and buttons to select “OK” and short press the button to confirm.
Charging
Warm Tips:
It’s normal if it has a certain hot when charging. The screen of the recorder
will display a text prompt when low battery and please charge it in time. If
idle the A30 mini camera for a long time, please Charge it every 3 months.
Charge it with the standard cable. It could be charged correctly as you connect it to your charger or a working computer whether your device is on or off. inserting it into power, the camera would be powered on automatically, and the red indicator would show up and stay. after a full of charge 3-5 hours, the indicator will turn sturdy green.
Power On/Off
In the power-off state, push the button down for 3 seconds, the recorder is turned on then enters the standby mode of real-time monitoring. In standby mode, push the power button down and hold it for 3 seconds to turn off the device.
Take Photo
Press the button, turn to the photo preview interface, and press the button to take photos. When video recording, the camera couldn’t snapshots at the same time.

Video Recording
Method 1:
In the power-off state, push up the video record button to power on the device
and start the video recording, the blue indicator flashes. Then push the
button down to a middle position to save the current file and stop video
recording. The blue indicator goes off and the interface turns to the video
just recorded.

Audio Recording
Method 1:
In the power-off state, push up the audio record button to power on the device
and start the audio recording, the blue indicator flashes; Push the button
down to save the current file and stop the audio recording. The indicator goes
off and the interface goes to the audio file page.

In the standby preview interface, push the audio button up to start the audio
recording, and the blue indicator flashes; Push the button down to save the
current file and stop the audio recording. The indicator goes off and the
interface goes to the audio file page.
Night Vision
- Clear recording in an infrared mode in the dark.
- In standby/video/photo mode, short press the “Volume+ ” button to switch to night vision mode manually.
- Press it again the real-time image turns to colored.
LCD Off Mode / Auto Power Off
This device has a power-saving mode function. By default, it will automatically enter the LCD Off mode after 5 minutes without any operation. Then short press any key to light up the screen. (The “LCD Off” could be set to 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, off in the menu.) Also, a short pressing of the return button could turn off the screen display in any status, except in the menu setting. Short press any button to light up the display.
On standby, it will shut down after your set time. (The “Auto power off” could be set to 1 minute, 3 minutes, off in the menu.)
Files View /Playback
Powering on, short press the button to switch to the playback mode, then press and buttons to select the file needed to view, press the button to play the file, and short press again could pause. (Short press to return or exit.) When playing, press and buttons could adjust the volume of playing.
Note:
Press and buttons when in the playback mode, and it will show a video file,
picture file, and audio file, then video and audio file short press to play
the file, but the picture file is a jpg, It’s static if you short press the
button.
File Delete/Protection
Methods to delete the recorded files
Method 1: Deletion from the camera
In playback mode, (Short press to enter playback when standby.) press buttons
to select the file that needs to be deleted, long press the button to the
option of “Delete” and “Protect”, press and the buttons to confirm the “Delete
Current”/”Delete All” choice, and press to choose “OK” to delete the files.
Note:
The marked as protected video when the recording couldn’t be deleted. If
unlocked, still could be deleted.
Method 2: Deletion from the PC side
Connecting the camera to the computer, press and buttons to choose the “Mass
Storage” of the camera and press the button to confirm. Read the camera disk,
and choose to copy or delete the recorded file on the PC.
File Protection
Note:
The lock/protect option could only be valid for VIDEO files. The loop record
can’t cover your protected video file when locking it
In playback mode, (Short press to enter playback when standby.) press buttons to select the video file needed to be protected, long press the button to select the file needed to be protected, press buttons to confirm the “Protect” choice, and press to confirm the “Lock Current” or “Lock All” choice, and press to save.
File Transfer/ Connect Computer
Connect the camera to the computer with a standard USB cable. The recorder
shows “Mass Storage”, indicating that it is successfully connected to the
computer and the camera disk can be read.
Video files, photo files, and audio files are all stored in the DCIM folder.

Reset
When the device crashes or stops working due to improper operation or other special reasons, please press the button to reset the device. Then re-power on the camera to check.
Indicator Light
- When charging or connecting to the computer, the red light shows and is steady on, and the green light stays on when fully charged.
- The blue indicator light flashes in the video recording.
- The blue indicator light keeps on for 2 seconds and then goes out when taking photos.
- The blue indicator light flashes in the audio recording.
- The Indicator light could be turned off in the menu setting.
Abnormal Alarm
This device has two alarm prompts for abnormal conditions, namely:
- A text prompt will appear on the screen of the recorder when low battery.
- A text prompt will appear on the screen of the recorder when full memory / No TF card is inserted.
System Setting
After powering on the device/ in standby, press the button to enter the menu setting, press and buttons to select the options to change, then press the button to confirm. Option Details are as follows:

Troubleshooting
It can delete files directly on the screen?
In playback mode, press the button to the option of “Delete” and “Protect”,
press the buttons to confirm the “Delete Current”/”Delete All” choice, and
press “OK” to delete the files.
Can’t turn on or camera crashes, no response to keystrokes?
- Please charge it for a least half an hour then turn it on.
- Press the Reset button once, then restart.
A black screen appears after powering on
- The screen may enter the power-saving mode after pushing the return button mistakenly.
- Press any button again to light up the screen display;
- Press the Reset button once then restart the camera.
- Check whether the“ LCD Off” is turned on in the menu,
- If you want the display is always on, please enter the menu to set the “ LCD Off” option to Off. The “ LCD Off” option can be set to off/1 min/2 min/3min/5 min/ 10min.
- If the issue remains, maybe the display screen is defective, contact after-sale for service.
Incorrect system date and time
Just set your date and time again in the menu settings. Long press the button
to enter the menu setting, press and buttons to find “Date/Time”, press the
button to enter, press and buttons to change then press the button to confirm.
The computer prompts “Please reconnect the device”./ The camera dish can’t be recognized by the computer
- Use another compatible USB cable to try again.
- Check whether the camera USB interface or computer USB port is damaged.
- If the issue remains, contact after-sale for service.
The screen displays a red color.
- Please press the button twice to reset the lens.
- Maybe the lens of the device malfunctioned, contact after-sale for service.
