Thank you for purchasing the D4CBL ADUPS2 VGA & USB/PS2 to HDMI & USB KVM
Converter.
D4CBL ADUPS2 features a video signal conversion from an HD VGA video signal to
an HDMI video signal and a signal transmission between an USB or a PS2
keyboard/mouse port on a PC and an USB HID keyboard/mouse connected to a KVM
device. This product is specially designed for legacy devices or PCs which
connect to novel console devices while providing an excellent compatibility
solution for cascading PCs and KVM devices.

Installing the D4CBL-ADUPS2
Before installing the KVM converter unit, make sure that the computer and the KVM device providing the video source are both powered OFF.

Connect the VGA connector of the combo KVM cable to the VGA socket on the KVM converter unit.

Connect the other VGA connector of the combo KVM cable to the VGA socket on the computer.
For computers only with two PS2 sockets, use the attached USB-to-PS2 adapter to turn the USB connector of the combo KVM cable into a PS2 connector. For computers only with USB sockets, you may leave the attached USB-to-PS2 adapter unused. -
Connect the integrated HDMI and USB cables of the KVM converter unit to the input sockets of the KVM device, such as HDMI KVM switch, HDMI IP KVM switch or other KVM devices supporting HDMI/USB interfaces.

Power ON the computer and the HDMI/USB KVM devices.

Whenever a computer with both PS2 and USB interfaces is applied, there are two accepted configurations:

Connect the two PS2 connectors of the combo KVM cable respectively to the two PS2 sockets on the computer, where one of the PS2 sockets
(dedicated for mice) on the computer is connected to the USB connector of the combo KVM cable via the attached USB-to-PS2 Adaptor. -
Connect the USB connector of the combo KVM cable to an USB socket on the computer, and LEAVE the PS2 connector (dedicated for keyboards) of the combo KVM cable UNUSED.

If the computer and HDMI KVM device fail to provide sufficient signal driving capability, power the D4CBL ADUPS2 KVM converter unit with an additional 5V/1A power adaptor.
