VILTROX EF-FX1 Pro Auto Focus Mount Adapter

Before setting the Valtrex mount adapter on your camera, please read this manual carefully for your proper or better use of the adapter.

Product function

Valtrex EF-FL Pro is a mount adapter that could transfer Canon EF and EF-S lens to Fuji X-mount mirrorless in order to expand the compatibility of lens and camera. The adapter features

1. Equipped with lens release lever and aperture adjustment ring;
2. Support EXIF data transmission;
3. Support auto-focusing;
4. Support lens stabilization or in-camera stabilization;
5. Thread matting design of inner housing;
6. Firmware updatingvia Type-C interface;
7. Aluminum alloy and chromium-plated brass, solid and durable structure;
8.  Precise bayonet design, which ensures precise matching between the adapter and camera flans.

Attentions

1. Make sure that the camera is compatible with the lens before using this adapter ring.
2.  Restart the camera if auto focusing fails after you change the setting from MF mode to AF mode with the adapter ring mounted to the lens.
3. Please use the switch on the lens to set the lens functions. If the settings in the camera menu are different from those on the lens, the settings on the lens shall prevail.
4. Adaptation of physical mechanical structure, which does not affect the performance and imaging quality of main lens.
5. When the lens is heavier than the camera, be sure to hold the lens when moving the camera and shooting.
6. When shooting in rain, please try not to get this adpter ring wet.
7. If it is not used for a long time, please store the device with the desiccant under sealed state.
8. Please keep this manual properly so that you can refer to it at any time in the future.

Install/Uninstall the adapter ring

Product Installation

1. Install the EF. EF-S series lens on the adapter ring Align the mounting index (red circle) on the EF lens with the same index on the adapter ring, and then turn the EF lens clockwise until you hear a click (0). Align the mounting index (white square) on the EF-S lens with the same index on the adapter ring, and then turn the EF-S lens clockwise until you hear a click (®).
2. Installation of adapter ring to the camera Align the camera mounting mark (red circle on the adapter ring with the same mark on the camera, and then turn the adapter ring clockwise until you hear a click (2)

Product Uninstallation

1. Remove the adapter ring with the EF/EF-S series lens from the camera Turn off the power of the camera, press and hold the lens release button of the camera; At the same time, rotate the adapter ring counterclockwise, and remove it when the adapter ring stops rotating.
2. Remove the EF/EF-S series lens from the adapter ring Press the lens release lever on the adapter ring; At the same time, rotate the EF/EF-S series lens counterclockwise, and remove it when the lens stops rotating

Upgrading and installation of firmware

1. Connect the adapter with computer via Type-C cable
2. Removable disk can appear in computer
3. Download the latest firmware from www.viltrox.com
4. Decompress file and copy .bin file to removable disk
5. Firmware updating is finished after removing the adapter ring from computer
