General Wiring Diagram

  • CAUTION: Turn off electrical power at the fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring the fixture to the power supply.
  • CAUTION: Turn off the power at the fixture before applying any changes to the sensor switch.

Sensor Function Tunable Switch

  • Left(OFF): Turn off sensor function (Set Sensor to Off position if using an on/off wall control switch.)
  • Medium(Bi-level): Normal < 25% rated wattage output, It’s 100% wattage output when the PIR sensor detected
  • Right(ON/OFF): Normal 0% output, It’s 100% output when the PIR sensor is detected.

Junction Box Mounting: Ceiling or Wall

  • All model sizes: The Slim Flush Mount fixture is LED driver/ballast integrated, So It’s suitable for 4 Octagon/Square/Round J-box, Using in Shallow Plenum, Concrete, Fire-rated, Insulation-batting or spray foam, Framing application.
  • Note: Junction box mounting applications are generalized for illustrative concepts only. These are not for construction or specification.
  • Refer to appropriate professional and code authority for specific box and installation requirements.
  • Pick up the fixture and select the desired sensor function and CCT output (see diagram on page 2) (Note: For 5 models, the sensor and the dimming functions can’t work together.
  • One functionality only can be used and the other is turned off.)

FAQ

Q: Can the sensor and dimming functions work together?

  • A: For 5 models, the sensor and the dimming functions can’t work together. Only one functionality can be used at a time, and the other must be turned off.

Q: What tools are required for installation?

  • A: The tools required for installation (not included) are gloves, safety goggles, a ladder, a wire cutter, a wire stripper, a Phillips screwdriver, and a flathead screwdriver.

Operating Instructions

General Safety Information

  • To reduce the risk of death, personal injury, or property damage from fire, electric shock, falling parts, cuts/abrasions, and other hazards read all warnings and instructions included with and on the fixture box and all fixture labels.
    Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance on this equipment, follow these general precautions.

  • Commercial installation, service, and maintenance of luminaires should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.

  • For Residential installation: If you are unsure about the installation or maintenance of the luminaires, consult a qualified licensed electrician and check your local electrical code.

  • DO NOT INSTALL DAMAGED PRODUCT!

  • This fixture is intended to be connected to a properly installed and grounded UL-listed junction box.

WARNING:

  • Risk of Fire – Supply conductors (power wires) connecting the fixture must be rated a minimum of 90℃.
  • If uncertain consult an electrician.
  • Risk of Fire/Electric Shock – If not qualified, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualified electrician.

CAUTION:

  • For your safety read and understand instructions completely before starting installation.
  • To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to the edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.
  • Before attempting installation, check your local electrical code, as it sets the wiring standards for your locality.

NOTES:

  • If the luminaire (fixture) is to be switched from a wall switch, make sure the black power supply wire is connected to the switch. DO NOT connect the white supply wire to the switch.
  • Make certain no bare wires are exposed outside the wire nut connectors.
  • Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation.
  • Warranty does not apply to lamps not installed in compliance with:
  • National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • The Standard for Safety of Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL)

  1. Pick up the fixture and select the desired sensor function and CCT output (see diagram on page 2)
    • (Note: For 5″ models, the sensor and the dimming functions can’t work together. One functionality only can be used and the other turned off.)
  2. Fix the installation bracket with screws and connect the ground wire if it exists. (Fig. A)
  3. Fix the safety rope from the installation bracket to the fixture. (Fig. B)
  4. Connect black wire to live wire, white wire to neutral wire, and secure using a quick connector (Fig. C)
  5. Push up the fixture and fix the fixture (Fig D)

Note: Pull down harder to remove the fixture or use the flathead screwdriver to pry on the light from the side and close the ceiling.

Recessed Housing Mounting (E26 Base Retrofit Kits)

Retrofit 4” recessed can housing installation (5” models)

  1. Pick up the fixture and select the desired sensor function and CCT output (see diagram on page 2)
  2. Fix Friction clips bracket to the installation bracket (Fig. E)
  3. Fix the bracket to the fixture, and connect white wire and black wire to the connector male terminal (Fig. F)
  4. Twist screw base adapter to fixture socket (Fig. G) (LED housings skip Step 4)
  5. Connect the quick connector and attach friction clips to install the fixture into the recessed can (Fig. H & I)

Retrofit 5/6” recessed can housing installation (7” and 12” models)

  1. Pick up the fixture and select the desired sensor function and CCT output (see diagram on page 2)
  2. Fix Friction clips bracket to the installation bracket (Fig. J)
  3. Fix the bracket to the fixture, and connect white wire and black wire to the connector male terminal (Fig. K)
  4. Twist screw base adapter to fixture socket (Fig. L) (LED housings skip Step 4)
  5. Connect the quick connector, and attach torsion springs to install the fixture into the recessed can (Fig M & N)
