Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Pre-Installation Preparation
- Before starting the installation process, ensure that the power is disconnected at the main fuse box.
- If you are not familiar with code requirements, it is recommended to have the installation done by a certified electrician.
- Remove all parts and part packages from the box. If anything is missing, contact the retailer from which the product was purchased.
Step 2: Mounting Bracket Installation
- Carefully pull the house wires down out of the junction box to make them easily accessible for connecting to fixture wires.
- Place the mounting bracket (A) against the junction box, with the screw collar loop (E) pointing down towards the floor.
- Align each slot in the mounting bracket (A) with each hole in the junction box.
- Thread one junction box screw (B) into each slot in the mounting bracket (A) and into the holes in the junction box. Tighten the screws to secure the mounting bracket to the junction box.
- Make sure the house wires are still easily accessible and avoid pinching them between the mounting bracket and ceiling.
Step 3: Fixture Assembly
-
Rotate each fixture body (O) section until they are evenly spaced apart.
-
Push the fixture wires from the top of the fixture body (O) up through the bottom of the center stem (M). Pull the wires taut. Screw the center stem (M) onto the top of the fixture body (O).
-
Push the fixture wires up through the bottom of the loop (L).
Pull the wires taut. Screw the bottom of the loop (L) onto the top of the center stem (M). -
Connect one locking link (G) to the loop (L).
-
Determine the desired hanging height of the fixture and cut the chain (H) to achieve that height.
-
Slip the chain link at the end of the chain (H) onto the locking link (G) on the loop.
-
Weave the fixture wires through the chain links, skipping every other chain link.
-
Slip the threaded ring (F) down over the end of the chain (H).
-
Position the canopy (D) so that the outside is pointing down towards the fixture. Slip the hole in the canopy (D) over the end of the chain (H).
Step 4: Wiring Connections
- Strip 3/4 of the insulation from the ends of the fixture wires.
- Push the fixture wires up through the hole in the screw collar loop (W) attached to the mounting bracket (A) and out of the end of the threaded pipe inside the junction box.
- Pull the fixture wires carefully so that they are easily accessible for connecting to the house wires.
- To help in connecting the fixture wires to the house wires, temporarily connect a second locking link (G) to the end of the chain (H) and to the screw collar loop (W).
- Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A), but do not completely remove it.
- Wrap the house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to the fixture’s ground wire.
- Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire together. Secure them with a wire nut (C) by twisting it onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten the wire nut (C).
- Refer to the chart provided for correct wire connections.

WARNING:
- This fixture is intended for installation under the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If you are not familiar with code requirements, installation by a certified electrician is recommended.
- Before assembly, remove all parts and part packages from the box. If anything is missing, please contact the retailer from which the product was purchased.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
- Carefully pull house wires down out of a junction box so house wires are easily accessed to connect fixture wires.
- If the screw collar loop (W) is already attached to the mounting bracket (A), proceed to Step 3. To assemble screw collar loop (W) to mounting bracket (A): Hold mounting bracket (A) so the head of the ground screw is pointing down towards the floor. Hold threaded pipe so two hex nuts already attached to threaded pipe (E) are pointing down towards the floor. From the side of the mounting bracket with the ground screw head, screw the short end of a threaded pipe (E) into a hole in the center of the mounting bracket (A) until the hexnut on threaded pipe (E) touches the mounting bracket. Thread hexnut (V) onto the end of the threaded pipe (E). Tighten hexnut (V) to secure threaded pipe (E) to mounting bracket (A). Thread screw collar loop (W) onto the end of threaded pipe pointing down towards the floor. Tighten the screw collar loop up against the hexnut on the threaded pipe (E).
- Place mounting bracket (A) up against the junction box. Screw collar loop (E) should be pointing down towards the floor. Align each slot in mounting bracket (A) with each hole in the junction box.
- Thread one junction box screw (B) into each slot in the mounting bracket (A) and into holes in the junction box. Tighten junction box screws (B) to secure mounting bracket (A) to the junction box.
- CAUTION: Make sure house wires are still easily accessible. DO NOT pinch wires between the mounting bracket and ceiling.
- Rotate each fixture body (O) section until sections are evenly spaced apart.
- Carefully push fixture wires from the top of the fixture body (O) up through the bottom of the center stem (M). Pull fixture wires taut. Screw center stems (M) onto the top of the fixture body (O).
- Push fixture wires up through the bottom of the loop (L). Pull fixture wires taut. Screw the bottom of the loop (L) onto the top of the center stem (M).
- Connect one locking link (G) to loop (L).
- Determine the desired hanging height of the fixture. Cut chain (H) to length to achieve the desired height.
- Slip the chain link at the end of the chain (H) onto the locking link (G) on the loop.
- Weave fixture wires through chain links, skipping every other chain link.
- Slip threaded ring (F) down over the end of a chain (H).
- Position canopy (D) so the outside of the canopy is pointing down towards the fixture. Slip hole in canopy (D) over the end of a chain (H).
- Strip 3/4” of insulation from the ends of fixture wires.
- Carefully push fixture wires up through the hole in the screw collar loop (W) attached to mounting bracket (A) and out end of threaded pipe inside a junction box. Carefully pull fixture wires so they are easily accessible to connect to house wires.
- To aid in connecting fixture wires to house wires, temporarily connect the second locking link (G) to the link at the end of the chain (H) and the screw collar loop (W).
-
Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A). Do not completely remove the ground screw. Wrap house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire
to attach to fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference the chart below for correct wire connections.Connect Supply (House) Ground Copper Wire to:Bare Copper Wire or,
Bare Silver Wire or,
Green Insulated Wire. - Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference chart to the right for correct wire connections.
- Wrap electrical tape (not included) around wire nuts (C) and wires. Ensure wires are securely fastened into wire nuts.
- Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into a junction box.
- Remove the second locking link (G) from the last link on chain (H) and screw collar loop (W).
- Raise canopy (D) to the ceiling. Pass hole in the canopy (D) over screw collar loop (W). Position canopy (D) up against the ceiling.
- Raise threaded ring (F) to canopy (D). Screw threaded ring (F) onto screw collar loop (W). Tighten the threaded ring (F) to secure the fixture to the ceiling.
- Attach the second locking link (G) to the link at the end of the chain (H). Attach locking link (G) at the end of the chain (H) to loop on screw collar loop (W).
- Screw recommended bulbs (E12 candelabra bulb type, not included) into the socket. Verify the correct bulb wattage marked on the socket of the fixture.
WARNING: DO NOT exceed maximum bulb wattage.
