Electrobes Switching Power Supply

POWER SUPPLY OPERATING MANUAL

SMPS(Switch Mode Power Supply) is a high-frequency electric energy conversion device used commonly as the power supply unit of equipment. The SMPS adopts AC-DC(Altemating Current to Direct Current) oonversion mode.

Choose

  1. Determination of input AC voltage of Power Supply: the input voltage of Power Supply should match the voltage of power systems.
  2. Determination of output DC voltage of Power Supply: the output DC voltage of Power Supply should match the rated input DC voltage of your equipment,
  3. Determination of output current of Power Supply: it depends on the rated current of the equipment powered by the Power Supply or the average current measured by Multimeter. When ambient temperature is high and airflow is unstable, additional 20%-30% current should be prepared.
  4. Determination of output power of Power Supply: the output power of Power Supply depends on the service power of the provided equipment. If the rated power of the provided equipment is unknown, it can be gotten by the rated current of the provided equipment times the voltage of the provided equipment (current• voltage= power). Users should choose the Power Supply with the rated power 20%-30% higher than real service power and peak power.
    The model example for introduction:S-600-12 S-single output, rated output power 600w, output voltage DC 12V.

How to use

  1. AC input of Power Supply: “L • represents “Live Wire” port “N’ represents “Neutral Wire” port on power supply is the Ink port of ear1h Wire at input end.
  2. DC output “+V represents !he “positive pole” port of , ·-v represents “negative pole” port
  • Before opening power suppty, please switch to appropriate voltage!

    • When !he voltage sl’.itch on the side isat”115″, !he ilput voltage is 85-145V, 60Hz. The maximum value of (output) service power/current can’t be 70% higher than rated voltage/current.
    • When !he voHage switchonlhesideisat’230′, the i1put vollage is 185-265V, 50Hz. The maximum value of (output) service power/current can’I be 80%higher than rated power/current.
  • The adjustable range of output voltage: rated voltage±5%, the adjusting knob under the “ADJ” mark

  • LED running indicator light

    • On – running.
    • Twinlde-overload, lllSlal:le output. Please dose input immediately!
  • Short-circuit protection
    When short circuij happens to output port, output will stop. But input won’t stop automatically. Please cut or close input!

  • Working Temperature: -10-+60 C (Refer lolhe output load derating curve)

    • Wor1<ing Humidity: 20 – 90% RH
    • Storage Temperature: -20 – + 85 C
    • Storage Humidity: 10 – 95% RH
    • Temperature Coefficient:±0.03%/ C (0~50 C)
    • Start, Rise, Hold Time: 200ms, 50ms, 20ms
    • Vibration Resistance: 10~500 Hz, 2G 10min, / 1 cycle, duration 60minutes,each axis
