The Smart Wire-Free Security Camera System is a wireless security camera system that allows you to monitor your home or office remotely. It comes with a hub and one or more cameras, depending on the package you choose. The system supports local recording with the use of a microSD card, and it can be controlled through the Tapo app available on both the App Store and Google Play.

Product Usage Instructions
Charge the Battery
To ensure that your camera is ready for use, you need to charge the
battery. There are two methods to charge the battery:
Method 1: Battery Itself
- Connect the provided charging cable to the battery.
- Plug the other end of the cable into a power source.
- The LED indicator on the battery will turn orange to indicate charging.
- Once the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator will turn green.
Method 2: Battery Inside Camera
- Connect the camera to a power source using the provided charging cable.
- The camera will charge its internal battery.
- Check the battery status in the Tapo app after setup.
Set Up
- Download and install the Tapo app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Follow the app instructions to set up your hub and camera.
- Mount your camera according to the app instructions.
Local Recording
If you want the camera to record videos locally, follow these steps:
- Insert a microSD card into your hub.
- Initialize the microSD card within the Tapo app.
Reset
If you need to reset your hub or camera, follow these steps:
Reset Hub
- Locate the RESET button on the hub.
- Use a pin or a paperclip to press and hold the RESET button for about 5 seconds.
Reset Camera
- Locate the SYNC/RESET button on the camera.
- Press and hold the SYNC/RESET button for about 5 seconds.
