Introduction

To achieve this, Proaim introduced Alphabet 21ft Jib Crane Package that is highly stable and gets easily integrated into your shooting style. Along with this, we also kept it lightweight,  compact and quick to assemble so that you can use it in various shooting scenarios.

Assembling Jib Sections

1. Attach Section 1 to Section 2 using the provided connectors.
2. Attach Section 2a to Section 2 using the provided connectors.
3. Attach Section 2b to Section 2a using the provided connectors.
4. Attach Section 2c to Section 2b using the provided connectors.
5. Attach Section 1 to Section 2c using the provided connectors.

Assembling Cable Guide and Support Rod

1. Attach the cable guide and support rod to the jib crane using the provided connectors.

Assembling Cables

1. Attach the cables to the jib crane following the steps mentioned above for attaching jib sections.

Adjusting the Wire Tensioner

Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on adjusting the wire tensioner.

Mounting Camera on Head Platform

Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on mounting the camera on the head platform.

Warranty

We offer a one-year warranty for our products from the date of purchase. We will repair or replace your product, free of charge, in the event of a defect in materials or craftsmanship obtained during normal use or handling based on the user manual. Please note that we will not cover any shipping costs for returning the product to us. If any VAT or import duties are applied to the return, we will also charge these costs to the customer.

Along with this, we also kept it lightweight, compact and quick to assemble so that you can use it in various shooting scenarios.

JIB CONFIGURATION

Jib Sections

ASSEMBLING JIB SECTIONS

• Install the Hub (Section 2 of Jib) into bowl of your 100 mm tripod stand and tighten the hub with center locking knob.
• Loosen the provided knob at the end of section 2 to slide the bars of section 3 into the end of section 2.
• Then tighten both the sections together using the provided knobs.

Section 2a with 2, 2b with 2a, 2c with 2b & 1 with 2c :

ASSEMBLING CABLE GUID AND SUPPORTED

• Attach cable guide to cable guide clamp on 2nd section properly. Loosen the knob, ahead of cable guide clamp in order to attach cable guide support rod to it.

ASSEMBLING CABLES

• Now attach one end of 14.5ft blue cable to blue hook on back side of jib (section 3 ) and the other end of blue cable to blue hook on front section of the jib (section 1).

Section 2a with 2, 2b with 2a, 2c with 2b & 1 with 2c :

For attaching these sections follow the same steps as mentioned above.

ASSEMB LING CABLE GUID AND SUPPORTED

• Attach cable guide to cable guide clamp on 2nd section properly. Loosen the knob, ahead of cable guide clamp in order to attach cable guide support rod to it.
• Retighten the knob to secure properly.

A S S EMB L I N G C A B L E S

• Now attach one end of 14.5ft blue cable to blue hook on back side of jib (section 3 ) and the other end of blue cable to blue hook on front section of jib (section 1).
• Similarly attach the second blue cable and align both the blue cables to the side of support rod.
• Now attach one end of 14.3ft red cable to red hook on back side of jib (section 3 ) and align the red cable to the cable guide from top.
• Then, attach the other end of red cable to red hook on front section of jib (section 1).

ADJUSTING THE WIRE TENSIONER

• The wires have the screw-in wire adjustment system in order to adjust the wire tension to level the jib .
• The jib arm can be locked (tilting) with the help of this knob.
• Insert the weight rod & weights (not supplied) to both ends and secure with the help of closers.
• The central fork has free hole to attach LCD mount bracket (not included).
• The camera plate can be tilted upwards & downwards with the help of provided handle.

MOUNTING CAMERA ON HEAD PLATFORM

• Camera can be mounted directly on the head platform with the help of provided chuknut.

Replacement parts of the product will be provided at nominal cost (covering the cost price of the replacement parts only) to the customers after the Warranty Period has expired. We will cover the complete cost of sending replacement parts within the warranty period. After that, Nominal cost of the product & Actual shipping cost will be charged. Do not send the unit to us without first getting a response and getting the approval to send back the item.
