Replacement Coils for Use with Class 8910 Type DPA Contactors
Instruction
HAZARDOUS VOLTAGE
- Disconnect all voltage supplies before installing or removing the device.
- Failure to follow this instruction will result in death or serious injury.
INSTALLATION
Coil replacement instructions: (see illustration)
- Push the magnet clip (A) tabs in and slide the clip out.
- Remove the magnet (B) and the coil (C).
- Place the new coil in the device with coil terminal through the single wide slot.
- Replace the magnet with the shading coil on the same side as the coil terminals. (The shading coil on the armature, not shown, and magnet shading coil should not be aligned.)
- Snap the magnet clip firmly in place.
- If the contactor buzzes or chatters when energized after reassembly, check for proper orientation of the magnet (B).
Replacement Coils for Use with Class 8910 Type DPA Contactors
NOTE : Shading coil must be on the same side as coil terminals for proper operation.
