AMALA CARRIER OILS

Carrier oils are used in aromatherapy to dilute essential oils before applying them topically to the skin. Essential oils evaporate quickly, using them with carriers slows down the evaporation process so they have time to absorb.

Which carrier oil is right for me?
AVOCADO
First and foremost, avocado oil is great for moisturizing. The fatty acids in the oil penetrate the skin easily and help to keep it hydrated. This can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as prevent dry, flaky skin. Avocado oil is also rich in oleic acid, which can help replenish the skin’s natural oils and keep it soft and supple.
FRACTIONATED COCONUT
Coconut oil also has antiseptic and antimicrobial properties, which means it is a good choice for soothing skin problems like acne, eczema, and cold sores. It is packed with saturated fats that keep your skin moisturized and help give you a smooth, even complexion.
GRAPESEED
This is a popular choice for massage oils. It is suitable for all skin types. Its virtual lack of aroma makes it an ideal base for essential oils. Grapeseed Oil is rich in Vitamin E and omegas and antioxidants to soothe & nourish your skin and
it does not aggravate acne.
JOJOBA
Jojoba oil is fantastic as a carrier oil because it doesn’t have a strong scent and works as an emollient, meaning it soothes your skin while unclogging pores and hair follicles. Jojoba oil isn’t just a carrier oil – it has a ton of benefits for your hair and skin on its own.
ORGANIC KALAHARI MELON SEED
Kalahari Melon Seed Oil (KMSO) is the new wonder oil in town! This incredible natural ingredient contains 70% essential fatty acids and a very high amount of Vitamin E, making it the wonder oil for hair and skin! It is a highly stable oil, which makes is ideal as a carrier oil for essential oil blends, as well as cosmetics formulations for skin, hair, lips and beards.
SWEET ALMOND
Ideal for aromatherapy treatments, relaxing massages and all-natural skincare. Loaded with vitamin E, light in colour and silky to the touch, sweet almond oil is a wonderful skin moisturizer.
WITCH HAZEL

Rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids, it has been shown to have antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal abilities, making it wonderful for skin care. This versatile oil has a plethora of applications and benefits for the skin, including being rich in vitamin C, which acts as an antioxidant, protecting skin cells from damage and disease. It helps with repairing skin after sun damage and reduces aging caused by overexposure to the sun. Another benefit of rosehip oil is that  it contains carotenoids, helpful in creating new skin cells and keeping skin healthy and fresh. Vitamin F is also present, a moisture-trapping agent that protects skin against damage.
