Product Usage Instructions

Installation Steps

Step 1: Turning off the Power

1. Turn the power OFF from the electrical panel before starting installation.

Step 2: Mounting the Fixture

1. Locate a suitable position to place the fixture and open by the cut-hole dimensions (refer to Hole Cut Table for appropriate size).
2. Run electrical wire from the switch (power supply) through the mounting hole – use NMD90 Romex or BX cable.

Step 3: Connecting the Electrical Supply Cable

1. Open the hardwire box swing cover and remove the appropriate knockout(s).
2. Insert the electrical supply cable through the knockout and secure it with a cable connector (sold separately).
3. Using wire nuts, connect the green ground wire of the cable to the green wire on the box. Connect the white wire of the cable to the white wire of the box. Connect the black wire of the cable to the black wire of the box.
4. Place all wiring and connections back into the box and close the cover.

Step 4: Inserting the Hardwire Box
Insert the hardwire box through the mounting hole. For new construction applications, the hardwire box should be firmly secured to studs, joists, or similar fixed structural units. For remodel applications, the hardwire box does not need to be firmly secured after the mounting plates, studs, joists, or structural units have been concealed.

Step 5: Connecting the Fixture

1. Connect the fixture to the hardwire box by inserting and twisting the male/female connectors.

Important Precautions

• To avoid early failure due to improper installation, shut off power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel before removing the old fixture or installing the new one.
• This lamp is suitable for use in damp locations.
• Use only on 120-volt AC, 60Hz circuits.

INSTALLATION STEPS

1. Turn the power OFF from the electrical panel before starting installation.

2. Locate a suitable position to plate the fixture and open it by the cut-hole dimensions (refer to Hole CutTable for appropriate size) .

3. Run electrical wire from the switch (power supply) through the mounting hole-use NMD90 Romex or BX cable.

4. Open the hardwire box swing cover and remove the appropriate knockout(s)

5. Insert the electrical supply cable through the knockout and secure it with a cable connector (sold separately).

6. Using wire nuts, connect the green ground wire of the cable to the green wire on the box. Connect the white wire of the cable to the white wire of the box. Connect the black wire of the cable to the black wire of the box. (Fig.2)

7. Place all wiring and connections back into the box and close the cover.

• New construction applications: Hardwire box shall be firmly secured to studs, joists, or similar fixed structural units.
• Remodel applications: Do not require the hardwire box to be fully secured after the mounting plates, studs, joists, or structural units have been concealed.

Connect the fixture to the hardwire box by inserting and twisting the male/female connectors.

1. Push spring-loaded clips on the fixture upwards and insert the fixture base into the mounting hole. Release the clips and the fixture will be pulled flush to the ceiling.
2. Once assembly is complete, turn on the power to confirm the fixture is working properly
