The CENTRALE VAPEUR STEAM STATION (Model: SCGS2365) is a steam generator
designed for domestic use. It is equipped with a thermostat control and a
control panel for easy operation. The device is designed to provide efficient
ironing and steaming of fabrics.

GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE PRODUCT

power switch
Plug in the device and press the power/off button, the LED will light up. The ECO steam flow is considered the default flow and its light flashes. Hold down the power switch for about 2 seconds to turn off the device. -
Steam flow control button
Press the steam flow control button to switch between high steam flow and ECO steam flow. A beep is heard when changing the rate. -
Thermostat knob
- Turn the thermostat knob to adjust the ironing temperature according to the garment to be ironed.
- When the iron is heating up, the temperature indicator lights up. Once the iron has reached the selected temperature, it switches off. The temperature indicator turns on and off as the iron maintains the selected temperature while ironing.

Iron lock and iron release button
- When the iron is locked on the heat insulation bracket, press the iron release button to unlock it.
- the iron can be removed from the heat insulation bracket. When the “iron lock” button ” is unlocked, the iron can be placed on the heat insulation bracket. If the iron lock is engaged, you must first press the iron release button to unlock it and then replace the iron.You will then have to re-engage the locking button to block it and be able to transport the unit.

Steam trigger
As soon as the appliance reaches the selected temperature and the temperature indicator goes out, lightly press the steam trigger, then steam is sprayed from the soleplate. When the steam trigger is released, the appliance can only be used for dry ironing without steam. -
Button to remove the water tank
Press the button at the top of the water tank to release it from its base. -
Filling opening
Fill the water tank through the filling hole. Make sure the water does not exceed the MAX mark on the tank. -
Cleaning button (with indicator)
1. The appliance should be cleaned when the cleaning indicator remains permanently lit. Before performing cleaning, prepare a container with a capacity of more than 300ml to collect the waste water, then put the device on the container and position the container stably. Turn the temperature dial to the “MAX” setting.
2. Press and hold the “cleaning button” for 2 seconds. When the buzzer sounds, the operator should keep away from the appliance to avoid being burned by high temperature steam during the cleaning process. The machine enters cleaning mode and the cleaning indicator flashes. After about 3 minutes, the cleaning is finished and the device is ready for operation again.
REMARK
For best cleaning performance, make sure the thermostat knob is turned to the “MAX” setting before activating the function ” Cleaning “. Cleaning may not be satisfactory or may not be performed if the thermostat knob is turned to other temperature settings than “MAX”.

Burst of steam
The burst of steam can be activated after pressing the steam trigger twice continuously. -
Cord wrap groove
When not in use, the steam supply cord can be rolled up along the cord wrap groove for storage. This can be attached with a cable tie. Follow the instructions in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section. -
Auto power off
If no steam comes out of the soleplate, the device switches off automatically after 10 minutes. At this time, the power indicator and other indicators turn off. The device will return to working condition when the switch is reset. -
Correct positioning of the iron on the thermal insulation support
When the iron is put on the heat insulation rack, it should be placed on it correctly.
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Remove any labels or protective films from the sole.
- Fill the tank with water and heat the iron to maximum temperature, then run the iron over a damp cloth for several minutes to remove any residue on the soleplate as described in the “Steam ironing” section.
REMARK :
- It is normal for an odor to be generated by the appliance when first used. This phenomenon disappears after a few uses.
- Particles may escape from the soleplate when you use the iron for the first time.
- This phenomenon is normal, the particles are harmless and stop escaping from the iron soon after.
- After switching on the appliance, the water pump located in the base of the appliance may produce a sound when spraying steam.
- During the soleplate heating process, there will be a little water automatically come out of the soleplate
USE
The appliance offers two ironing modes. You can use dry ironing or steam ironing. For details, see the following.
Dry ironing
- Put the base of the device on a stable and level surface.
- Correctly position the iron on the thermal insulation support of the base of the appliance (see EN-13).
- Plug the plug into an electrical outlet, then turn the thermostat knob to select the desired temperature setting, which depends on the fabric of the garment. Refer to “IRONING TIPS” and “SUPPLEMENTARY TABLE” below when selecting the temperature.
- When the soleplate temperature reaches the selected temperature, the temperature indicator turns off and you can start ironing.
WARNING :Never touch the hot soleplate before it has cooled down!
Steam ironing

Put the base of the device on a stable and level surface.
-
Press the “water tank release button” and grab the handle of the water tank to pull it out, then fill it with water through the filling hole. It is better to use purified water containing less lime particles. Then, replace the water tank correctly. The maximum capacity of the water tank is 1.8 l, the water level should not exceed the MAX mark.

Properly put the iron on the heat insulation support of the appliance base.

Plug the plug into an electrical outlet, then turn the thermostat knob to select the desired temperature setting, which depends on the fabric of the garment. Refer to “IRONING TIPS” and “SUPPLEMENTARY TABLE” below when selecting the temperature.

The temperature indicator lights up and the iron begins to heat up.
-
After a few minutes, the temperature indicator turns off, indicating that the temperature of the soleplate has reached the selected temperature. You can now start steam ironing.

Slightly press the steam trigger, steam is then sprayed continuously from the soleplate. You can then steam iron the garment.
REMARK :Water may drip during steam spraying when the temperature is lower than the second setting. This phenomenon is normal. WARNINGS :- Do not touch the hot soleplate until it has cooled down!
- Never direct steam at people!

If you want to activate the “Steam Burst” function to remove stubborn creases, press the trigger twice to produce a steam burst.

After ironing, hold and press the power switch for about 2 seconds. The device and all indicators turn off. Remove the plug from the wall socket. The soleplate is still hot, never touch it with your hands. Place it on the heat insulation stand until it cools down completely.
IRONING TIPS
- Always check first if there is a label with ironing instructions on the item. Follow these ironing instructions in all cases.
- Iron heats up faster than it cools. Therefore, you should start by ironing items that require the lowest temperature, such as those made of synthetic fibers.
- If the fabric is made of different types of fibres, you should always select the lowest ironing temperature to respect the composition of these fibres.
- Synthetic fiber and silk fabrics should be ironed on their inner side to avoid making them shiny.
- Velvet and other textures that become shiny quickly should be ironed in one direction using light pressure. Always keep the iron moving at all times.
- Pure wool fabrics (100% wool) can be ironed with the steam iron. Use a dry cloth as a support and then select the setting corresponding to the fabric for ironing.
- Never iron zippers and rivets on clothing. This will damage the sole. Iron around these objects.
REMARK : When ironing woolen fabrics, the fabric may become shiny. It is therefore advisable to return the item and iron the reverse.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, first disconnect the power plug and let the appliance cool down.

Wipe residue and other deposits from the soleplate with a damp cloth or non-abrasive (liquid) cleaner.
REMARK :Do not use chemical, steel, wood or abrasive cleaners to scratch the soleplate. -
Clean the upper part of the iron with a soft, damp cloth. Wipe off water drops on the base of the device and the thermal insulation bracket with a dry cloth.

When you do not use the appliance for a long time, empty the water from the tank and put the iron on the heat insulation bracket, then press the iron lock” ” to lock it.
REMARK :you can lift the entire steam station by grasping the handle of the iron after properly locking the iron on the thermal insulation support. -
To store the steam supply hose and power cord, do the following: first, fold the steam supply hose in half and roll it up along the winding groove. Then attach it to the cord wrap groove; second, tie the power cord with a cable tie.
