Intended use

This device is designed to split an RDM/DMX signal across separate outputs. Any other use or use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damage resulting from improper use.

Danger for children

Ensure that children do not detach any small parts from the product. They could swallow small parts and choke. Never let children play unattended with the electrical devices.

Operating location
Do not ever use this product:

  • in conditions of extreme temperature or humidity
  • in extremely dusty or dirty places
  • in locations where the device may get wet

General handling

  • To prevent damage, do not exert force when handling the product.
  • Do not immerse the product in water. Wipe only with a clean and dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners or flammable cleaning agents

Controls and connections

  1. DMX / RDM IN: DMX input with 5-pin XLR chassis plugs for connecting a DMX controller.
  2. DMX / RDM THRU: 5-pin XLR chassis jacks for transmitting the DMX signal arriving at the DMX input (DMX / RDM IN).
  3. OUT 1 – OUT 8: LED display OUTPUT 1 – Output 8. The bottom LEDs light up red as soon as the device is switched on. The middle LEDs light up green if a DMX plug is connected to the corresponding output. The top LEDs light up green when an RDM signal is sent on the corresponding OUTPUT.
  4. POWER ON/OFF: Power Twist mains connection for the power supply of the device. A suitable power cord is included in the scope of delivery.
  5. AC230V50Hz: Should the fuse have blown, disconnect the unit from the power supply and replace the fuse with a new fuse of the same type. If the fuse blows repeatedly, please contact our service department.
  6. OUT 1 – OUT 8: DMX outputs 1 to 8 with 5-pin XLR chassis jacks.
  7. DMX / RDM IN: DMX input with 5-pin XLR chassis plugs for connecting a DMX controller.
  8. DMX / RDM THRU: 5-pin XLR chassis jack for transmitting the DMX signal arriving at the DMX input (DMX / RDM IN).
