Safety instructions
Intended use
This device is designed to split an RDM/DMX signal across separate outputs. Any other use or use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damage resulting from improper use.
Danger for children
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of and are not in the reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard! Ensure that children do not detach any small parts from the product. They could swallow small parts and choke. Never let children play unattended with the electrical devices.
Operating location
- Do not ever use this product:
- in conditions of extreme temperature or humidity
- in extremely dusty or dirty places
- in locations where the device may get wet
General handling
- To prevent damage, do not exert force when handling the product.
- Do not immerse the product in water. Wipe only with a clean and dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners or flammable cleaning agents

- The 19-inch-enabled DMX Splitter 8 RDM is equipped with a DMX input + DMX link out and eight further DMX outputs.

Controls and connections
- DMX / RDM IN: DMX input with 3-pin XLR chassis plug for connecting a DMX controller.
- DMX / RDM THRU 3-pin XLR chassis jack for transmitting the DMX signal arriving at the DMX input (DMX / RDM IN).
- OUT 1 – OUT 8: LED display OUTPUT 1 – Output 8. The bottom LEDs light up red as soon as the device is switched on. The middle LEDs light up green if a DMX plug is connected to the corresponding output. The top LEDs light up green when an RDM signal is sent on the corresponding OUTPUT.
- POWER ON/OFF: ON/OFF switch for switching the DMX Splitter on and off.
- AC230V50Hz: Should the fuse have blown, disconnect the unit from the power supply and replace the fuse with a new fuse of the same type. If the fuse blows repeatedly, please contact our service department.
- OUT 1 – OUT 8: DMX outputs 1 to 8 with 3-pin XLR chassis jacks.
- DMX / RDM IN: DMX input with 3-pin XLR chassis plug for connecting a DMX controller.
- DMX / RDM THRU 3-pin XLR chassis jack for transmitting the DMX signal arriving at the DMX input (DMX / RDM IN).
