Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Download and Install Diagnostic Software
Please download and install the original diagnostic software on your computer. The original software should support J2534. Note that the original software needs to be downloaded from other channels. Some brands may have special J2534 diagnostic software. Refer to the official data of the original manufacturer for details.

Step 2: Download and Install MVCI PRO-J2534 Software
Download and install the MVCI PRO-J2534 software on your computer from the following address: http://dl.xhorse.net.cn/p/vd06

Step 3: Connect the Cable
Connect the OBD interface of the MVCI PRO-J2534 vehicle diagnosis programming cable to your vehicle’s OBD port. Then, connect the USB interface of the cable to your computer. Make sure that your computer has the MVCI PRO-J2534 software and the original diagnostic software installed.

Step 4: Device Connection
After connecting the cable, open the MVCI PRO-J2534 software on your computer. Click on the “Connect Device” button. Once the connection is successful, you will be able to view device information such as firmware version number and serial number. The “Read authorization” option allows you to check the current device authorization status and available times. If the number of available times is 0, some functions may be limited. The “Update authorization” option allows you to update the device’s authorization status and reset the available times.

Step 5: Install Brand-Specific Drive
In the MVCI PRO-J2534 software, navigate to “Vehicle Diagnosis” and install the drive required by the corresponding brand. After successful installation, you can operate on the original diagnostic software.

Step 6: Software and Firmware Updates
In the MVCI PRO-J2534 software, go to “Upgrade” to view the current version information, and update software and firmware.

Step 7: System Settings
In the MVCI PRO-J2534 software, access “System Setting” to switch software language, open the operation log, and save the operation log.

The MVCI PRO-J2534 vehicle diagnosis programming cable hardware is connected to the vehicle and the computer. The signal led will prompt the device status, including the following states:

1. Flashing red and green alternately indicates that the firmware is abnormal and needs to be updated;
2. The red light is always on, indicating that device can’t be use and the authorization needs to be updated;
3. The yellow light is always on, indicating that the vehicle OBD voltage is not detected;
4. The constant green light indicates that the OBD voltage is detected.

Use Tutorial

1. Please download and install the original diagnostic software on the computer. The original software needs to support J2534

2. Please download and install MVCI PRO-J2534 software on the computer at the following address:

3. Connect the OBD interface of the MVCI PRO-J2534 vehicle diagnosis programming cable to the vehicle, and connect the USB interface to the computer (the computer needs to be installed with MVCI PRO-J2534 software and the original diagnosis software).

4. After connecting, click [Connect Device] in MVCI PRO-J2534 software. After connecting successfully, you can view the device information, including firmware version number, serial number, etc. [Read authorization] can read the current device authorization status and available times.
