- The appliance is supplied with a flexible power cord fitted with a 3-pin plug.
- The socket used must be properly earthed and fuse/RCD protected.
- See the rating label inside the cabinet for supply voltage, frequency and current draw.
- Power cable should not be placed next to heat source such as room heater or other electrical appliance.
- Do not turn off power before consulting the person responsible.
- Mark the power source clearly, so the refrigerator is not unplugged or turned off accidentally.
Before Operating
- Avoid tilting or transporting the appliance in a horizontal position. If the appliance were to be tilted, it must be left to stand in an upright position and not plugged in for at least 6 hours.
- Remove all the packaging material before using the appliance.

OPERATION
Start-up
- Connect the appliance to the mains power supply, the appliance will start working without requiring further operation.
- The thermostat has been pre-set by factory, there is no need to adjust unless requiring different internal temperature.
Using the controller
-
For solid lid models (as per below picture), adjust the thermostat using the dial below to set the appliance’s internal temperature, moving clock-wise to achieve lower internal temperature. You should only make small adjustment and wait 24 hours to see whether further adjustment is required.
-
The orange switch (on selective models) is used to activate Fast Freezing mode. It can be used for first time operation, or when fast freezing is required. Turn the Fast Freezing switch off within 24 hours.
-
The green indicator (on selective models) indicates valid power supply.
-
The red indicator (on selective models) indicates an alarm condition when internal temperature of the appliance is higher than normal. This can happen when the lid is left open or warm products are loaded. The alarm indicator will automatically turn off once above condition resolved, depending on the situation, this can take up to 24 hours.
-
For glass lid models, the thermostat can be accessed by removing two screws from the base of the ventilated service panel on the left hand side of the unit. THE UNIT MUST BE TURNED OFF PRIOR TO REMOVING THIS PANEL. The unit can have the internal temperature lowered by turning the dial clockwise. NOTE: You should only make small adjustment and wait 24 hours to see whether further adjustment is required.
Digital thermometer
- The digital thermometer measures and displays the internal temperature. The battery should be replaced when the brightness of the LCD display appears to be weak or dim. To change the batteries access the rear of the temperature display by removing two screws from the base of the ventilated service panel on the left hand side of the unit. THE UNIT MUST BE TURNED OFF PRIOR TO REMOVING THIS PANEL.
