Product Usage Instructions
- Safety Instructions:
- Never leave surface units unattended at high settings. Boilovers cause smoking and greasy spillovers that may ignite. Heat oils slowly on low or medium settings.
- Always turn the hood ON when cooking at high heat or when flambeing food (i.e. Crepes Suzette, Cherries Jubilee, Peppercorn Beef Flambe).
- Clean ventilating fans frequently. Grease should not be allowed to accumulate on the fan or filter.
- Use proper pan size. Always use cookware appropriate for the size of the surface element.
- If flames occur, smother them with a close-fitting lid, cookie sheet, or metal tray, then turn off the burner. Be careful to prevent burns. If the flames do not go out immediately, evacuate and call the fire department.
- Use an extinguisher only if you have a Class ABC extinguisher and already know how to operate it, the fire is small and contained in the area where it started, the fire department is being called, and you can fight the fire with your back to an exit.
- Maintenance Process:
- After each use of the Ciarra Hood To Go, please follow the procedure to replace the filters and clean the oil collecting cup. Empty the oil collecting cup and rinse it with detergent and water to avoid odor.
- Filter Removing Process:
- Pull out the magnetic Filter Holder.
- Remove the Filter Holder.
- First, remove the accessories.
- Then remove the Carbon Filter.
- Then remove the Aluminium Filter.
- Then remove the Polymer Filter.
- Rinse the Aluminium Filter and Polymer Filter with detergent and water, and dry them before assembling them into the machine.
- Guideline For Using This Product With Other Small Appliances:
- When using this product with other small appliances, ensure proper air inlet and outlet for efficient ventilation. Place the product near the cooking appliances and connect it to a power source using the provided AC adapter.

- WARNING – To reduce the risk of a range top grease fire:
- a) Never leave surface units unattended at hight settings. Boil overs cause smoking and greasy spillovers that may ignite. Heat oils slowly on low or medium settings.
- b) Always turn hood ON when cooking at hight heat or when flambeing food (i.e. Crepes Suzette, Cherries Jubilee, Peppercorn Beef Flambe).
- c) Clean ventilating fans frequently. Grease should not be allowed to accumulate on fan or filter.
- d) Use proper pan size. Always use cookware appropriate for the size of the surface element.
- WARNING – To reduce the risk of injury to persons in the event of a range top grease fire, observe the following:
- a) SMOTHER FLAMES with a close-fitting lid, cookie sheet, or metal tray, then turn off the burner. BE CAREFUL TO PREVENT BURSN. If the flames do not go out immediately, EVACUATE AND CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
- b) NEVER PICK UP FLAMING PAN – You may be turned.
- c) DO NOT USE WATER, including wet dishcloths or towels – a violent steam explosion will result.
- d) Use an extinguisher ONLY if:
- You know you have a Class ABC extinguisher, and you already know how to operate it.
- The fire is small and contained in the area where it started.
- The fire department is being called.
- You can fight the fire with your back to and exit.

- This appliance can be used by children aged form 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- When the appliance is not in use and before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the outlet firstly.
- There shall be adequate ventilation of the room when the range hood is used at the same time as appliances burning gas of other fuels.
- There is a fire risk if cleaning is not carried out in accordance with the instructions.
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose to water or rain.
- Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- There shall be adequate ventilation of the room when the range hood is used at the same time as appliances burning gas or other fuels (not applicable to appliances that only discharge at the air back into the room).
- CAUTION: Accessible parts may become hot when used with cooking appliances.
Important Notes
- This product is suitable for use in an island kitchen, living room, parlor, RVs, balcony, patios, etc. It is used for hight speed extraction of fumes from electric grill, electric fondue pot, multi-purpose hot, electric cake pan, electric grill, etc. After the fumes are separated by triple filters, the clean air is discharged into the room. This product is a portable mini range hood, featuring air extracting and purifying functions.
- After each use, make sure to clean the oil collecting cup, the aluminium filter and the polymer filter.
- This product is intended for residential use only and the manufacturer assumes no responsibility if it is used for purposes other than domestic use.

Power Connection and Storage
- The power supply voltage must be consistent with the rated voltage.
- Do not hang the cables wires in the air (to avid tripping). Do not touch the cable with the wet hands.
- Do not use the product if the machine is operating abnormally or if there is significant damage.
- All maintenance and replacement of the power cord should only be done by our after-sale service center.
Installation Method
The power supply voltage must be consistent with the rated voltage.
- Inspection of accessories (The package includes the main unit 1, AC adapter 1, instruction manual 1, aluminum filter 1, carbon filter 1, polymer filter 4 pieces).
- Installation of filters: Remove the filter holder, first assemble the polymer filter, aluminum filter, and carbon filter to the filter holder in order, then attach the filter holder to the machine.
- Turn on the power (connect the power core to the machine, and the other end to the 100-240V household socket).
User’s Guide
- After assembling the filter and other parts of the product according to the installation requirements, place the product on a stable table and plug in the power core (DC24V) into the power input connector on the bottom of the product.
- Them plug in the power socket into household power socket.
- When it’s ready, you can control it by pressing the on/off key on the back of the main unit; when you press the on/off key, the ring indicator light up and the unit will be turned on.
- Mode of operation: Standby, level 1 blue light, level 2 green light, turn off the light and so on.
- Shutdown: Press the power button 2 seconds to turn it off. When the indicator light is off, it means shutdown, and the product stop working at the same time.
Guideline For Using This Product With Other Small Appliances
- This product is recommended for use with cooking appliances (e.g., induction cooker, electric grill, electric heating, cooker, etc.) and should not be used for open flame cooking, which might be damage the product and cause fire.
- This product should be placed on the side of cooking unit (as shown on the right), and the air inlet should be as close as possible to the cooking surface of other appliances (no more than 10cm away) to improve the efficiency of the extraction rate.
- The fume exhaust outlet of this product is not allowed to blow directly on the human body.
- During the operation of this product, it is forbidden to move, or push down the machine, etc.
- Children and the elderly or sick people who have lost the ability to take care of themselves should use this product under adult supervision to prevent accidents.
- When using this product, please make sure it is out of reach from children and teach them not to use it as a toy.
- There should not be any objects blocking the air inlet/outlet.
Maintenance Process
- Note: After each use of Ciarra Hood To Go, please follow the procedure to replace the filter and clean the oil collecting cup. Empty the oil collecting and rinse with detergent and water to avoid odor.
Filter Removing Process
- Pull out the magnetic Filter Holder.
- Remove the Filter Holder.
- First remove the accessories.
- Then remove the Carbon Filter.
- Then remove the Aluminium Filter.
- Then remove the Polymer Filter.
- Rinse the Aluminium Filter and Polymer Filter with detergent and water, and dry them before assembling them into the machine.
Filter Assembly Process
- First replaced the Polymer Filter.
- Then assemble the Aluminium Filter.
- Then assemble the Carbon Filter.
- Then assemble the accessories.
- Attach the Filter Holder to the machine.
- Complete the assembly.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- The carbon filter should be charged every 1 month depending on the conditions of use.
- When cleaning, maintaining or moving the product, you must first turn off the product and then disconnect the power plug.
- Do not clean until the motor has completely stopped running to avid injury.
- Do not immerse the power cord or main unit in water to clean or flush under the faucet, and do not expose the inside of the product to water.
- Do not use wire brushes, oil or any corrosive fluids to clean this product to avoid damage.
- Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the surface.
- After cleaning, only connect the product to power once the main unit and relevant filter components are completely dry.
- If the product is not used for a long time, please store it in a dry, cool and safe place.

- When using the product for the first time, or when using it again after you shut it off, it is important to empty and clean the oil collecting cup and rinse the aluminum filter and polymer filter promptly.
- Failure to follow these instructions and safety precautions may result in damage to the equipment and unnecessary loss to you.

Safety Precautions
- To avoid electric shock and fire, please use the original power cord we provide and plug the cord into the appropriate power outlet, do not modify the plug itself in any way. If the power cord is damaged, do NOT try to fix it yourself, please call a certified electrician to replace it.
- Do not bend, bind, drag, or press the power cord with a heavy object, do not place the cord near a high temperature or fire source, do not clip the cord into a crevice, or change the cord yourself.
- Do not unplug the power supply directly with wet hands. Disconnect the plug when the machine is not in use for a long time to prevent the insulation from deteriorating and causing electric shock.
- Do not move the machine or disassemble or assemble parts during operation as this may cause personal injury or machine failure. Always disconnect the power supply when cleaning servicing or replacing the filters.
- To ensure the safety of use and the performance of the machine, do not use other alternative products that are not approved by our company or certified by a third party.
- Do not subject the product to severe impacts or drops.
- Do not put small objects such as cotton swabs, wire, toothpicks, or paper crumbs into the air inlet and outlet. Place the product on a stable surface to avoid damage to the machine or its parts.
Warranty Conditions
- A new product purchased in the Alza.cz sales network is guaranteed for 2 years. If you need repair or other services during the warranty period, contact the product seller directly, you must provide the original proof of purchase with the date of purchase.
- The following are considered to be a conflict with the warranty conditions, for which the claimed claim may not be recognized:
- Using the product for any purpose other than that for which the product is intended or failing to follow the instructions for maintenance, operation, and service of the product.
- Damage to the product by a natural disaster, the intervention of an unauthorized person, or mechanically through the fault of the buyer (e.g., during transport, cleaning by inappropriate means, etc.).
- Natural wear and aging of consumables or components during use (such as batteries, etc.).
- Exposure to adverse external influences, such as sunlight and other radiation or electromagnetic fields, fluid intrusion, object intrusion, mains overvoltage, electrostatic discharge voltage (including lightning), faulty supply or input voltage and inappropriate polarity of this voltage, chemical processes such as used power supplies, etc.
