Product Usage Instructions
Getting Started
Before using the curling iron, please read all instructions and safety precautions provided in the user manual. Follow the steps below to get started:
- Plug the curling iron into a power outlet.
- Wait for the iron to heat up, as indicated by the LED light or sound signal.
- Select the desired temperature setting using the Temperature Select Buttons. Refer to the Temperature Setting Guide for recommendations based on your hair type.
- Once the iron has reached the desired temperature, you are ready to start styling.
To Curl Hair
Follow these steps to curl your hair using the curling iron:
- Ensure your hair is clean, dry, and free of any styling products.
- Separate a small section of hair that you want to curl.
- Hold the curling iron with the cool tip facing downwards.
- Gently clamp the hair between the barrel and the cool tip of the curling iron.
- Roll the curling iron upwards, wrapping the hair around the barrel.
- Hold the hair wrapped around the barrel for a few seconds to create the curl.
- Release the clamp and carefully slide the curling iron out of the curled hair.
- Repeat these steps for the remaining sections of hair, working from the bottom to the top.
User Maintenance
To ensure the proper functioning and longevity of your curling iron, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- No lubrication is needed for the curling iron.
- Keep all vents and openings clear of dirt and dust.
- If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the unit from the power source and allow it to cool. Wipe the exterior with a cloth.
- If any abnormal condition occurs, unplug the unit, allow it to cool, and return it for repair to an Authorized Service Center only. No repairs should be attempted by the consumer.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- This curling iron is intended for household use. Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz) only. This unit is designed to be operated at 120V AC.
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
NOTE : Do not use this styling appliance on hair extensions.

GETTING STARTED
SWITCH ACTIVATION CONTROL

This appliance features delayed activation control. Immediately after turning the appliance on, you are able to adjust the temperature. After 5 seconds of the appliance being turned on, the control buttons will automatically lock.

To adjust the controls, hold down the heat control HIGH or LOW button for 1-2 seconds. This will deactivate the lock mode and allow the setting to be changed.

To turn off the appliance while in lock mode, hold down the ON/OFF button until the appliance switches off.
Plug the iron cord into any household outlet (120V). Press and hold the ON/OFF button for approximately 1 second to turn the appliance on. The unit will heat up very quickly. Press -
HIGH or LOW button to select your desired temperature. Once the temperature has stopped blinking on the LED, the unit is ready to use.

To turn unit off, press and hold the power

ON/OFF button again until light goes off.
WARNING : The iron’s barrel will get very hot within a few seconds and should not be placed in contact with the skin after the iron has been turned on. -
The iron’s unique 5 ultra-high heat temperature settings and Instant Heat Technology provide styling versatility for all hair types. If you have fine hair, a low temperature will provide the best results. If you have thick, wavy or hard-to-curl hair, keep the heat setting on high. You can vary the iron’s temperature according to your particular need!
TEMPERATURE SETTING GUIDE
TO CURL HAIR
Hair should be clean and completely dry before using the curling iron.
For best results, use a light styling product before blow-drying hair.
- Start curling with a hair section that is 1 inch wide and no more than ½ inch thick.
- Open the spoon and place a hair section on the barrel, rolling up, close to the scalp. Hold for 8–12 seconds, depending on length and texture of your hair.
- Press the spoon handle and allow the curl to slide out.
- Repeat process on additional sections of hair until you achieve the hairstyle you desire. It may be necessary to repeat process on certain areas, depending on the texture of your hair.
Some experience is necessary when learning to use this curling iron. After using the iron several times, you will learn the ideal way to curl and style your hair. Never leave your curling iron on and unattended. However, should you fail to turn the iron off, it will shut itself off automatically within 60 minutes.

USER MAINTENANCE
Your curling iron is virtually maintenance free. No lubrication is needed. Keep all vents and openings clear of dirt and dust. CAUTION
NEVER allow the power supply cord to be pulled, twisted, or severely bent.
Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance. Damage will occur at the
high flex point of entry into the appliance, causing it to rupture and short
circuit. Inspect the cord frequently for damage. Stop use immediately if
damage is visible or if unit stops or operates intermittently.
STORAGE
When not in use, your appliance is easy to store. Allow appliance to cool,
then simply store out of reach of children in a safe, dry location. Do not
jerk or strain cord at plug connections. Do not wrap the line cord around the
appliance. Allow the cord to hang or lie loose and straight at the point of
entry into the appliance.
