Product Information
The Model 5307 50 Male BNC Connector is designed for custom applications and can be used with Pomona 50 BNC connectors. It features a metal spacer, rear insulator, front insulator, clamp nut, washer, V-gasket, and braid clamp. The connector has a torque rating of 18 to 22 in-lbs.

Product Usage Instructions
Cut the cable to the desired length and strip it according to the dimensions provided.
- Load the clamp nut, washer, and V-gasket onto the cable as shown in Figure #1.
- Install the braid clamp onto the cable and fold the braid back flat as shown in Figure #2. Ensure that all of the individual strands of the braid are flat against the braid clamp.
- Install the metal spacer and rear insulator. Solder the center contact in place and ensure that it is completely seated against the rear insulator (see Figure #3).
- Place the front insulator into the connector housing with the open end facing the front of the connector housing (see Figure #4).
- Assemble the cable into the connector housing. Ensure that the center contact goes through the hole in the middle of the front insulator. Screw the clamp nut into the connector housing and torque at 18 to 22 in-lbs (see Figure #5 for final assembly).

Cut cable to length and strip per dimensions
- outer jacket: 0.320” (8.128 mm)
- inner conductor: 0.140” (3.556 mm)

Load the clamp nut, washer, and V-Gasket onto the cable as shown in Figure #1.

Install the braid clamp onto the cable and fold the braid back flat as shown in Figure #2. Make sure that all of the individual strands of the braid are flat against the braid clamp.

Install the metal spacer and rear insulator. Solder the center contact in place. Make sure the contact is completely seated against the rear insulator (see Figure #3).

Place the front insulator into the connector housing. The open end of the insulator should face the front of the connector housing (see Figure #4).

Assemble the cable into the connector housing. Make sure that the center contact goes through the hole in the middle of the front insulator. Screw the clamp nut into the connector housing and torque at 18 to 22 in-lbs. (see Figure #5 for final assembly).
