Important Safeguards
  1. Remove and safely discard any packaging materials and promotional labels before using the appliance for the first time.
  2. To eliminate a choking hazard for young children, remove and safely discard the protective cover fitted to the power plug of this appliance.
  3. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the power plug, power cord or motor base in water or any other liquid.
  4. Always use the appliance on a dry, level surface.
  5. Do not use the appliance on a sink drain board.
  6. Do not place the appliance near the edge of a bench or table during operation. Vibration during operation may cause the appliance to move.

  8. Unwind the power cord fully before use.
  9. Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or counter, touch hot surfaces or become knotted.

  11. Check the Bean Hopper for presence of foreign objects before using.
  12. Do not operate this appliance for longer than 3 minutes at a time as this can cause overheating. Allow to cool for at least 1 minute after each use. Allow the appliance to cool down 20 minutes after long operation.
  13. Turn the appliance OFF, then unplug from the outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning.
  14. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
  15. This appliance is for household use only. Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended purpose as described in this book. Do not use outdoors. Do not use in moving vehicles or boats.

Control Panel

  1. LED Display Screen; Press to select the number of cups (2, 4, 6, 8, 10,12).
  2. Cup Button: Press to start/stop the grinding process.
  3. Start/Stop Button: Press to select the grind time (1-40 seconds).
  4. Time Button: Press and hold for more than 2 seconds, the time will increase rapidly.

Before First Use

Remove and safely discard all promotional labels and packing materials attached to the grinder. Wash the hopper, grind container, container lid, and cleaning brush in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. Wipe the exterior of the grinder with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Place the grinder on a level surface and plug the power cord into a 120V outlet.

Assembly

  1. Align the mark “ ” on the base of the bean hopper with the mark “ ” on the main body, and insert the bean hopper into position.
  2. Turn the bean hopper clockwise to lock into position (the mark “ ” on the base of bean hopper is aligned with the mark“ ” on the main body).sincreative-Electric-Coffee-Grinder-Instruction-Manual-fig- \(5\)
  3. The bean hopper can be removed by turning it anti-clockwise and lifting the hopper to pull out.
  4. Slide in grinds container with the cap open.
Grinding Your Coffee Bean
  1. Open the hopper lid and pour your coffee bean into the hopper.
  2. Select your grind size by rotating the Grind Size Dial from espresso to French press.
  3. The grinder has 48 grind settings. The Smaller the number, the finer the grind size. The larger the number, the coarser the grind size. Make sure the mark “ ” on the grind size dial is pointed at the number you need.
  4. Select the desired amount of ground coffee required by pressing the Cup button or Time button. Continue pressing the Cup button or Time button until the desired amount is displayed.
  5. NOTE:
  6. The amount dispensed will vary depending on the brew method selected and the grind amount.
  7. Experiment with different grind size settings and grind amounts to achieve the brew that best suits your taste.
  8. Press the Start/Stop button to start the grinding operation. To stop the process, press the Start/Stop button again.
  9. The grinder will automatically stop when the preset amount of coffee is dispensed.
  10. Gently tap the grind outlet, then take the grind container out.

NOTE:
The Bean Hopper and the Grinds Container could not be used for long-term storing coffee beans or ground coffee.

Over Heating Protection

Do not operate the grinder for continuous grinding longer than 3 minutes at a time as it could cause overheating protection. Allow the appliance to cool down for 1 minute before next grinding. The grinder will enter overheating protection after 3 minutes of continuous grinding. The Screen will display E1 and all buttons start flashing. To exit overheating protection, unplug the grinder and plug in it again.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Empty beans from the hopper and grind out any excess beans.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet before cleaning.
  3. Wash the grind container and lid, bean hopper, and lid in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
  4. Wipe and polish the exterior of the appliance with a soft damp cloth.

NOTE:
Do not use alkaline or abrasive cleaning agents, steel wool or scouring pads, as these can damage the surface.

NOTE:
Please do not clean any grinder parts or accessories in the dishwasher.

Cleaning Conical Burrs

Regular cleaning helps the burrs achieve consistent grinding results which is especially important when grinding for espresso coffee.

  1. Turn the bean hopper anti-clockwise and lift the hopper to pull out.
  2. Pour the residue beans in the hopper into a container.
  3. Insert and turn the bean hopper into position.
  4. Run the grinder until empty.
  5. Remove the bean hopper.
  6. Remove the upper burr by turning it anti-clockwise.
  7. Clean the upper burr with a cleaning brush.
  8. Clean the lower burr with a cleaning brush.
  9. Clean the grind outlet with a brush.
  10. Push the upper burr firmly into position. Then turn the upper burr clockwise to lock into position.
  11. Insert and turn the bean hopper into position.

NOTE:
Unplug the Coffee Grinder before cleaning.

NOTE:
To avoid damage, never wash or immerse the main body , burrs, or power cord in water, or place in the dishwasher.

NOTE:
Do not use water or wet cloth to clean the burrs.

Product Usage Instructions

Assembling the Appliance:

  1. Remove all packaging materials and promotional labels from the appliance.
  2. Ensure the power cord is unwound fully and not tangled.
  3. Place the appliance on a dry, level surface.
  4. Check the bean hopper for any foreign objects and remove if present.
  5. Make sure the appliance is completely assembled before connecting it to the power outlet.

Grinding Coffee:

  1. Fill the bean hopper with coffee beans. The maximum capacity is 250g.
  2. Place the grinds container under the grinder spout.
  3. Turn the appliance ON using the power switch.
  4. Allow the grinder to run for up to 3 minutes at a time. Do not exceed this time to avoid overheating.
  5. After each use, allow the appliance to cool for at least 1 minute.
  6. For longer operation, allow the appliance to cool down for 20 minutes before using it again.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

  1. Turn the appliance OFF and unplug it from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the bean hopper and grind the container.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
  4. Wash the bean hopper and grind container with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before reassembling.
  5. Regularly inspect the power plug, power cord, and appliance for any damage. Do not operate if damaged.

Storage

  1. Make sure the appliance is completely clean and dry before storing.
  2. Store the appliance in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Keep the power cord securely wrapped and avoid any sharp bends or kinks.

Motor starts but operates with

a loud “racket” noise.

| Grinder is blocked with foreign item or chute is blocked.| Remove bean hopper, inspect burrs and remove any foreign body. Clean burrs and chute. Leave burrs to dry thoroughly before re-assembling. You can use a hair dryer to blow air into grinder inlet (lower burr) to dry.
Moisture clogging grinder.
Moist beans or oily beans.
Unable to lock bean hopper into position.| Coffee beans obstructing bean hopper locking device.| Remove bean hopper. Clear coffee beans from top of burrs. Re-lock the hopper into position & try again.

Warranty Information

The manufacturer provides a warranty by the legislation of the customer’s own country of residence, with a minimum of 12 months, starting from the date on which the appliance is sold to the end user. The warranty only covers defects in material or workmanship.
