AMROOLOO M11 Heads-up Display for Cars

• (This product Design Patent and Display Images Copyright had been registered with customs record) HUD is short for Head Up Display. It displays driving data on the car windshield such as speed, RPM, water temperature, voltage, single mileage, etc; avoiding drivers unsafely because of watching the instrument while driving. Drivers can read the driving information instantly, and always keep the best state on the way with HUD.

Kindly attention

• OBD mode working voltage: 11V~18VDC (12vdc/200ma), when voltage is higher than 24v, please use a USB cable for GPS mode
• This product is a dual system (OBD2+GPS): the screen flickers after power on, and press the button to select OBD2 or GPS system, if, without operation, it will automatically enter the last selected system after 5 seconds

Product functions

1. Light sensor: HUD can automatically adjust the brightness according to the environment
2. Decorative lights: short press button to turn it off
3. RPM icon: Engine speed in OBD mode, and speed progress bar in GPS mode.
4. Multiple functions: Speed, water temperature, voltage, satellite numbers, driving distance
5. OBD system: after power on, the OBD light flickers, press the button within 5 seconds to switch the GPS system
6. Driving direction : when the car speed exceeds 5KM/H, will display the driving direction. W=West, N=North, S=South, E=East
7. GPS system: after power on, the GPS light flickers, press the button within 5 seconds to switch the OBD system
   • GPS icon flashing to search the satellite, after receiving the satellite signal, the GPS light will be off after 5 seconds
8. Icon for Water temperature and battery voltage
9. Speed unit: KM/H=kilometer/hour, MPH=Mile/hour

Button functions

Short press means pressing for 1 second long press means pressing for 5 seconds, don’t release the button until the display image changed

1. a. short press button
2. OBD system: switching voltage/water temperature /speed
3. GPS system: switching voltage/ satellite numbers /speed
4. When Entering menu mode, a short press is to switch menu values or parameter values

  *  **b.Long press button:** enter the setting menu ( 1-12 ). After adjusting, long press again for 5 seconds to save and exit.

3. When powered on, the screen flickers and a short press within 5 seconds can switch the OBD system or GPS system
4. Decrease the menu or parameter value after entering the setting.

  *  **b.Long press button:** turn off the buzzer, press and hold again for 5 seconds to turn on a buzzer

4. When powered on, the screen flickers, A short press within 5 seconds can switch the OBD system or GPS system,
5. Increase the menu or parameter value after entering the setting.

  *  **b.Long press the button** for 5s, all lights on, to eliminate the fault code, and do it again to save and exit.

4. Power switch: long press to turn off, do it again, turn on.
5. Connection port 1, connects to the cable
6. Connection port 2, connects to the cable, users can choose one of them.

System switch

• When HUD power on, the screen flickers. Press to choose GPS or OBD system. After 5 seconds without operation, it will automatically enter the last selected system.
• OBD system (available for cars with OBD2 protocol）
• Show Driving speed, engine RPM, water temperature, voltage, and driving direction, after powering off, it will show the single mileage, engine RPM icon, and decoration icon.

GPS system (available for all cars)

• Show: Vehicle speed, battery voltage, driving direction, satellite numbers, speed icon, decoration icon Please switch to GPS system when OBD doesn’t work(re-start the power)

GPS system working

• GPS flicking is to search the satellite signal. Please drive the car to the empty road. After receiving the signal, the GPS light will be stable for 5 seconds and then turn off, which means the GPS mode can be used normally.

Factory reset:

• Unplug the cable, long press the button, and meanwhile, plug in the cable, after all, lights are on, release the M button.

Clear error code:

• When the device working in the OBD2 mode, long press the button for 5 seconds, and all the lights will be on, do it again to save and exit.

Turn off/on the buzzer

• After the HUD starts working, press and hold the button for 5 seconds to turn off the buzzer, do it again, and turn on the buzzer

HUD setting

During setting, please watch the reflective image on the windshield to operate. Press and hold the M button for 5 seconds to enter the setting item (1-12), and the menu displays 1. Add the menu option by the button, short press the M button to enter the parameter value, and it will flash. Short press the or button to adjust the parameter value, short press the button to return to the menu, and long press the button for 5 seconds to save and exit.

Please note:

please manually turn off the HUD,when you don’t drive your car for more than a week.

Troubleshooting in OBD mode

1. The screen without any display, and no power

   • Please do these operations: If OBD cable is tight enough,pull the OBD cable down several times. Try another car to test.

2. When HUD power on, HUD only shows the car voltage and be automatic power off after 30 seconds driving.

   • HUD is available for cars with OBD2 and EU-OBD protocols(European:manufactured after 2003, Other region: after 2007)
   • HUD Products don’t support JOBD and OBDI,if your car is these protocols,please switch to GPS system

3. The device is stuck or stuck during driving
   Check the OBD interface if connected with other OBD device,please remove other OBD devices and do the factory reset

4. Inaccurate Speed

5. First check the speed unit is correct or not, the speed unit including KM/H and MPH

6. When HUD is power on, press and hold the button for 5 seconds to enter the menu option.
   The menu displays 1. Short press the button to enter the parameter value 107, according to the difference between the HUD and dashboard,change the parameter value (example:If the dashboard displays 100 KM/H device, and HUD Display 105KM/H , please adjust the parameter value to 102 by the button. After adjusting, long press and hold the button for 5 seconds to exit.

7. Automatic start/ stop car, HUD shutdown after braking

   • After the car starts and stops automatically, the engine stops running, and the HUD will shut down.
   • Please change menu 11 default value to 180s or longer time

8. HUD can not auto power off(RPM or Speed not at 0)

   • Set menu 10 value at 13.2 or 13.5. The car voltage is lower than the HUD default voltage and then will turn off in three minutes later.

9. When HUD turn off, but restart

   • Find menu 10, adjust the default to 13.6-13.8 V

Troubleshooting in GPS mode

1. The screen without any display, and no power

   • Check if the OBD cable or car charger cable is tightly connected, pull it down and insert it several times, or or plug the USB cable into the cigarette lighter.

2. No speed
   GPS flashing is trying to receive the satellite signal. Please drive the car to the empty road. After received the signal, the GPS icon will be off after a few seconds , then HUD can display the speed normally.

3. HUD cannot be automatically powered on or repeatedly extinguished while driving
   Press and hold the button for 5 seconds, enter the menu, press the button to menu 10, and adjust the parameter value voltage to 13.0V or 12.8-12.5v.
   If still not solved, please plug the USB cable into the cigarette lighter.

4. Inaccurate Speed

5. First check the speed unit is correct or not, the speed unit including KM/H and MPH

6. When HUD is power on, press and hold the button for 5 seconds to enter the menu option.

7. The menu displays 1.Short press the button to enter the parameter value 107, according to the difference between the HUD and dashboard,change the parameter value (for example:If the dashboard displays 100 KM/H device, and HUD Display 105KM/H , please adjust the parameter value to 102 by the button. After adjusting, long press and hold the button for 5 seconds to exit.

8. Driving direction is wrong

   • After the vehicle speed exceeds 5KM/H, the direction can be displayed normally.

9. The speed is still displayed after the car stops.

   • When driving in the underground parking lot, tunnel,or under the crossover bridge, there will be unstable satellite drift when there is obstruction. Please drive the vehicle to the empty road. Once the satellites are more than 5,it will display normally.

10. Check the number of satellites

    • Short press button to switch the speed/voltage/number of satellites (more than 5 satellites,it can be displayed normally)

11. After the car is turned off, it will not automatically shut down.

    • The HUD is automatically turned off after 3 minutes when the OBD line is connected.
    • If the HUD not shut down after the car turned off,please set the menu10 value to 13.5V, or plug the USB cable into the cigarette lighter.
