1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

INTENDED USE

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.

Use the appliance only for intended household purposes as described in this User Manual. Any other use is not recommended that may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to people.

ELECTRICITY SAFETY

This appliance must be provided with correct voltage via a professionally installed power socket.
Make sure the voltage indicated on the label of the appliance is the same as your local supply.
DO NOT operate the cooler with a damaged cord or plug or if the product malfunctions, is dropped or damaged in any manner.
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, DO NOT use this cooler with any solid-state speed control device.

RELATED TO USE

DO NOT use this cooler to ventilate areas where flammable liquids or vapors are used, stored or are present. DO NOT attempt to disassemble, repair, modify or replace any part any part of your product. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only.
Always make sure to place the cooler on a flat, level surface before operation.
Keep the cord out of heavy traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over. To avoid fire hazard,
NEVER route cord under furniture or appliances.
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning, making any repairs or servicing, or whenever not in use.
It is normal that there is noise during operation. If too loud, please set the cooler to lower speed.

  • For added convenience, the same control buttons can be found on the remote control.
  • Press… to mute, a beep will be heard and any operations with the control panel or remote control will be mute. Press again to unmute without a notification.

3. USING YOUR EVAPORATIVE COOLER

Filling the Water Tank

Turn off the unit before emptying or refilling the water tank. Drain the water completely after each use.
DO NOT tilt or move this unit after the water tank is filled with water.
Block the hose connector with a rubber plug if not taking Way 2.

Open the top cover and fill the water tank with water, making sure that the water level is between the minimum and maximum marks.

Connect the cooler and the water supply with a water pipe (not included). Turn on the water supply, and the unit will automatically cut the water off by the time the water level rises to the maximum mark.

Using the Ice Pack (Optional)

If no water is in the water tank, the cooler will beep, with 88 flashing, and work with the cooling function off.
The cooler includes four ice packs (can be frozen repeatedly and recycled) for added cooling.

1. Freeze in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
2.  Open the top cover and place the ice packs as per your needs.

3. Fill the water tank with water (below Max line).

Additional Features

Memory Function
The cooler is designed with power off memory function, it will always remember your last settings (except timer setting) once you turn it on again (the fan speed will start at Level 2 by default for 3 seconds).

Replacement of Batteries

Replacement of Batteries

1. Press the locking button to pop up the battery holder.
2. Replace the battery with the same type (CR2025, 3V), making sure the (+) side facing up.

3. Push in the holder until securely locked into place.

WARNING:

Do not ingest battery, Chemical Burn Hazard. This product contains a coin I button cell battery. If the coin I button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention. The batteries contain materials, which are hazardous to the environment; they must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped and that they are disposed of safely.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Wipe the outer surface with a soft damp cloth. Completely dry before reconnecting to power source.
  2. Fill the water tank with clean water (below Max line}, shake the cooler and drain the water completely.
  3. Repeat several times.
  4.  Every time you turn off the cooling function, allow the cooling pads to dry completely by letting the cooler work for another 30 minutes.
  5.  Leave the cooler covered to protect it from dust. Store it in a cool, dry location and wrap the cord around the cord wrap on the unit so that it will not be tripped over or damaged.

WARNINGS:

Always make sure the cooler is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
Never immerse in water or allow water to drip into the motor housing.
DO NOT clean with abrasive chemicals or flammable cleaning agents.

5. TROUBLE­SHOOTING

Why the cooler is not working
  • Make sure it is connected to a powered electrical outlet.
  • Press (!) to power on.
Not cool enough
  • Make sure there is water in the tank.
  • Wait a few minutes for the cooling pads to be fully saturated with water after turned on. Empty and clean the water tank regularly to ensure hygienic use (remove hard water and mineral deposits).
Why the remote control is not working
  • Make sure the cooler is connected to a powered electrical outlet.
  • Check that the remote control is powered and move the obstacles between the cooler and the remote.
  • Operate the remote control near or in front of the cooler.

WARRANTY

This product is covered with Paris Rhone product and labor warranty for 12 months from the date of its original purchase.

The warranty will not apply in cases of:

– Accident, misuse, or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel.
– Any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purpose.
– Normal wear and tear of wearable parts.
– Use of force, damage caused by external influences.
– Damage caused by non-observance of the User Manual, e.g. connection to an unsuitable mains supply or non-compliance with the instructions.
– Partially or completely dismantled appliances.
– Defects caused by or resulting from damages from shipping or from repairs, service, or alteration to the product or any of its parts that have been performed by a repair person not authorized by Paris Rhone.

We can only provide after sales service for products that are sold by Paris Rhone or Paris Rhone authorized retailers and distributors. If you have purchased your
unit from a different place, please contact your seller for return and warranty issues.
