【PARAMETER】

【TIPS】

*Make sure your cat weighs more than 1.5kg to ensure maximum safety for your cat.

• Please check if the items are complete according to the product list.
• Pull out the pedestal to the corresponding position before use.
• Please adjust the system time according to the actual use for the first time.
• Do not push the safety door.
• Please add cat litter in time when there is too little left in the litter box.
• Do not use tofu cat litter longer than 7mm.
• Do not expose to UV rays directly for a long time.
• If there are lumps in the toilet collection bin, please clean it up in time.
• Please check and clean the litter box regularly.
• Please use the original 12V4A adapter, do not use other brand adapters.
• If you need to move or transport, please press the power button to close the safety door and then cut off the power.

【STRUCTURE】

【PREPARATION STEPS】

1. Open the rear door and take out the included accessories.
2. Place a garbage bag in the manure collection bin.
3. Connect the power supply
4. Pull the pedestal to the proper position.
5. Cut the safety seal or rubber band.
6. Press the power button to power on.
7. After the safety door opens automatically, Install the red plugs on both sides inside the fuselage.
8. Pour cat litter into the litter box.
9. The amount of cat litter should be within the standard range of the litter box, Not too much or too little.

【CONTROL PANEL】

【TIME ADJUSTMENT】

When you tap any button, the hour hand flashes, tap the left button to increase, and tap the right button to decrease.
When the hour hand is flashing, long press any button, the minute hand flashes, press the left button to increase, and press the right button to decrease.

【OPERATING MODE】

1. Standby mode: In standby mode, the system detects that the cat has entered for more than 5 seconds and starts timing. After the pet leaves, the system re-times and the ambient light is green. When the cat does not re-enter, the cat litter to clump time is reached, the safety gate will close, start automatic cleaning.

2. Sterilization mode: After the cleaning is completed, the cat litter box opens the safety door and automatically turns on the ultraviolet germicidal lamp. The lamp circle flashes blue. If a cat enters during the sterilization period, the cat litter box will  automatically turn off the ultraviolet germicidal lamp.
   (The UV turn-on time can be adjusted through the APP)

3. Sleep Mode: Press “ ” to turn sleep mode on or off.
   When the sleep mode is turned on, the cat toilet will be in a dormant state between 10:00 at night and 6:00 in the morning, and all the ambient lights will be turned off.
   After reaching 6:00 in the morning, it will enter the automatic cleaning mode and run a cleaning process.

Scan the QR code on the right to download and install

1. Search “elspet” in the iPhone App Store and Google App Store.
2. Connect the mobile phone to the 2.4GHz WiFi. ( 5GHz band and specially certified WiFi such as hotels and airports are not supported for the time being.)
   *Please note that the WiFi name cannot contain Chinese, spaces, or other special characters so as not to affect the distribution network.
3. Open the elspet Smart APP to register, log in, select a smart device, and follow the prompts.

【APP CONNECTION STEPS】

1. Press and hold buttons 1 and 2 at the same time for 5s until the indicator light flashes quickly and then release.
2. Place the cat litter box as close to the router as possible, and connect the phone to 2.4G WiFi.
3. Open the elspet smart APP and log in.
4. Click “ add device”
5. Click “ Go to add”
6. Select 2.4ghz WIFI network and enter password, then NEXT
7. Waiting to loading
8. Complete the connection

【SAND VOLUME INDICATION RESET IS SHARED WITH EQUIPMENT】

SAND VOLUME INDICATION

• The remaining amount of cat litter can be viewed on the APP homepage.
  | The initial sand content is green.
  ---|---
  | Turns yellow after 25 runs.
  | Turns red after 80 runs.

APP SAND VOLUME RESET

• In the initial state or when the machine is not running, the sand volume indicator is green.
  At this time, it is necessary to add an appropriate amount of cat litter to the cat litter box (refer to the scale indication in the pot)

• When the amount of sand is insufficient, please add sand in time. After adding sand, click the reset button “ ” in the upper right corner of the APP homepage.

• Confirm the reset of the cat litter (if you do not reset the cat litter after adding the sand, the display of the cat litter allowance will be inaccurate)

APP DEVICE SHARING

• After the main account is successfully registered with the network, click “ ” in the upper right corner
• Click “Shared Devices” in the “Other” section.
• Click “Add Share” below
• Enter a shared mobile phone account to bind up to 10 devices.

【DISASSEMBLY AND CLEANING STEPS】

1. Open the rear hatch and remove the fecal collection basin

2. Remove the inner compartment cover.

3. Press to close the security door first.
   Press again to raise the claw piece.
   

4. Wait for the rake to rise

5. Press the snap buttons on both sides of the rake at the same time to unload the rake.

6. Press and hold the fixed buttons on both sides at the same time to remove the pull-out pedal.

7. Pull out the cat litter bottom basin

【ASSEMBLY STEPS】

1. Install the cat litter basin (the bottom basin needs to be installed in place)
2. Assemble the pedal according to the corresponding holes on the pedal
3. Press and hold the buttons on both sides of the pedal at the same time, and put the pedal into the body.
4. On the inside of the fuselage, Install the foam stopper.
5. Press the key to raise the rake.
6. Press and hold the buttons on both sides to install the rake.
7. Install the interior door
8. Put the waste collection basin in a garbage bag and put it in the cabin

【INDUCTION SYSTEM】

【CAT TOILET OPERATION FAILURE/ PROTECTION MECHANISM】

1. During the standby and cleaning process, if the pedal shift is detected, the cat litter box will stop running, the ambient light will light up in red, and an alarm will sound. After waiting for the pedal to return to its original position, the cat litter box will automatically return to automatic operation.

2. During the cleaning process, if it is detected that the safety door is pushed open, the cat litter box will immediately suspend operation, the red light will flash, and there will be a prompt sound. After a delay of 3  seconds, the safety door will be closed again. After the safety door is completely closed, it will continue to run and clean until it is completed.

3. During the cleaning process, if the cat litter sticks to the bottom and the resistance encountered during the operation of the rake, the motor will pause when the protection current is reached, and there will be a prompt. After the delay, the rake will return to  the position and start running again. If the cleaning cannot be completed after two consecutive stalls, the rake will return to the original point and will not clean up again. In this case, the ambient light will flash blue and the cat litter will be prompted to  stick to the bottom (the stand-alone ambient light flashes red) , until the next cleaning is completed, the litter box will automatically enter the normal operation state.

4. THE APP SHOWS THAT THERE IS A FOREIGN OBJECT STUCK:
   (1) The shrapnel at the safety door switch is missing or the safety door is deformed, so that the cat litter box cannot sense the safety door.
   (2) The safety door cannot be closed due to the failure of the safety door motor, and the atmosphere light is flashing red.
   (3) The litter box sticks to the bottom or the tip of the rake is deformed, which causes the litter box to be blocked during operation, and the atmosphere light flashes red or blue.

5. AUTOMATICALLY OR MANUALLY START CLEANING，THE SAFETY DOOR IS OPENED AFTER THE GREEN LIGHT FLASHES SEVERAL TIMES, AND THE CAT LITTER IS NOT CLEANED UP:
   (1) The rake is still in place. In this case, the sensing lens at the end of the rake is not bright.
   (2) The rake stops at the end position. In this case, the induction lens at the starting point of the rake does not light up.

6. The garbage bag on the inside of the fecal collection basin is not properly fitted.

PROTECTION MECHANISM

1. During the closing process of the safety door, if a cat happens to enter the cabin, the cat litter box will immediately detect that a cat has entered, the safety door will be reopened, and it will wait in a standby state until the cat leaves, and the system will restart the timing.
2. Added cat protection features:
   If the cat enters again during the operation of the cat toilet, when it detects that the cat is in the cabin, it will automatically retract the rake to the end point, stop cleaning and open the door to stand by. At this time, the ambient light flashes orange, and the delay is delayed after no cat is detected. After about 10 seconds, the cleaning will start again.

【WARRANTY STATEMENT】

1. Product performance failures caused by non-human damage during the warranty period can enjoy the following three guarantees:
   (1) If the product has quality problems within 7 days from the date of purchase, consumers can choose to refund and return the product at one time according to the purchase certificate or replace the product of the same model and specification;
   (2) If the product has quality problems within 15 days from the date of purchase, consumers can choose to replace the product with the same model and specification;
   (3) The warranty period of this product is 6 months, and the warranty period of the motor and main board is 1 year (excluding artificial causes);
   (4) This certificate shall not be altered, and it shall be valid only after the seal of the distribution unit, otherwise it will be regarded as an invalid certificate;
   (5) If there is no valid bill, the production date corresponding to the fuselage will be delayed by 3 months as a reference for quality assurance;

2. The following situations (but not limited to the following situations) are not included in the scope of “Three Guarantees”:
   (1) There is no “Three Guarantees” certificate or a valid invoice is missing or the validity period of the “Three Guarantees” service has exceeded;
   (2) Damage caused by failure to use, maintain, and store in accordance with the requirements of the user manual;
   (3) irresistible damage due to fire, lightning strike, flood, etc.;
   (4) The product model or serial number on the warranty card does not match the actual product;
   (5) Damage caused by dismantling and repairing by non-Xiaoyi authorized service providers;
   (6) The normal fading, wear and consumption during the use of the product is not a fault within the scope of the warranty;
   (7) Improper use by humans or damage by pets, etc.

【FAQ】

1. check that the pedal is correct, make sure that the button on the pedal is caught by the machine and heard a sound of “beep”, if the pedal is intalled incorrectly the machine will not work.

2. Make sure the garbage bag does not cover the sensing point around the sensor.

3. Set the clamping time in APP and wait for the end of the clamping time after the cat leaves, otherwise the machine will not start.

4. If the machine stops working in the middle of the process, the sensor may be covered by cat litter and the machine will not be able to detect cat litter.
   Clean the sensor inside the machine with a rag.

5. When pushing the litter tray, please make sure that there are no litter particles at the bottom, and lift the basin slightly upwards during pushing, or it will result in the base not being pushed in correctly, which also will result in the pedastal not being fitted correctly, the machine will not work.
