User Guide
Tummy Ache
A hilarious game for all the family. Try to put together an edible meal on the
place setting, but beware of making yucky combinations that will cause a tummy
ache!

• 4 three-piece place setting boards • 30 cards (20 food cards, 10 ‘Tummy
Ache’ cards)
Setting up the game
Please note: there are four different coloured plates.

To play
The youngest player starts.
Turn over a card from the table and place it on the correct space on your place setting. -
‘Tummy Ache’ cards
If you turn over a yucky ‘Tummy Ache’ card, all the players must shout, “Tummy ache!”
If the correct space on your board is already filled with a food card, the ‘Tummy Ache’ card is discarded.
If the correct space is empty, then you must place the ‘Tummy Ache’ card on that space until it can be replaced with a ‘normal’ food card. -
Swapping food cards
If you turn over a food card and the correct space is already filled with another food card, you can choose which card you would like to keep and discard the one you don’t want.
For example, you might prefer to have a fruit salad instead of a cupcake! -
Replacing ‘Tummy Ache’ cards
If you turn over a card and the correct space is already filled with a ‘Tummy Ache’ card, you can replace the ‘Tummy Ache’ card with the food card and discard it. -
Discarded cards
Discarded cards must be placed face up in a pile. Players may then choose to take a card from either those spread face down on the table or the discard pile. -
The winner
The winner is the first player to fill their place setting board with five food cards to make an edible meal.
