Use and Settings
2.1 Put in Batteries
a. Unscrew 2 screws, use a straight screwdriver to lever up the cover through
the opening.
b. Put in 3 AAA batteries (Alkaline and rechargeable batteries), the device
will beep like “Bi-Bi”.
CAUTION:
※ If there are no batteries in the device, the power failure alarm function
will not work, and the voltage abnormality reminder function will work.
※ Do not mix old and new batteries.
※ When rechargeable batteries are put in, the device will automatically charge
the batteries and stop charging when batteries are full.
2.2 First Time Use
After putting in the batteries, plug it directly into the same circuit of the
appliance you want to monitor, whether it’s a wall outlet or a power strip, it
will emit “Do-Re-Mi” sound, then it’s employed and you can get your critical
things covered.
Applicable Scenarios:
- Freezers or refrigerators in your garage or basement: in case your GFI/GCFI or trip shuts down your freezers.
- Power Failure on storm: very bright light prevents you from fumbling around for flashing strip in the dark.
- CPAP or any other critical appliance: gives you a timely alert to prevent any damage or loss that breaks your heart.
2.3 Power Failure Alarm
Warning sound along with 3 color flashing strip last for 60 seconds, after
which flashing strip continues and warning sound beeps for 5 seconds every
minute if power-out continues. Press pause button and the warning alarm will
stop.
2.4 Voltage Alarm
Red flashing strip goes on if monitored-voltage is higher than standard
voltage. Green flashing strip goes on when the voltage is fine. Blue flashing
strip is on when monitored-voltage is lower than standard voltage.
2.5 Low-Battery Alarm
Beeps “Du-Du” sound every 30 minutes when battery-voltage is lower than 3.6V.
Please change the batteries in time or use rechargeable batteries.
2.6 Settings
- Switch between 6 different sounds: Press selection button after plugged-in.
- Change volume: Press volume button after plugged-in. Three volume levels in total and one additional mute mode.
- Stop the Alarm: When the alarm goes on, press the Pause Button the sound &lightning warning will stop. No need for re-starting and the alarm will stay alert.
