NOTICE This product is classified as “full indoor type” and should only be installed in indoor environment.

Installation
For additional illustrated installation steps, refer to the end of the written
instructions. The steps are for left-handed doors. Reverse the lever position
for right-handed doors.
NOTICE Determine the door handing before installing the product.
Face the door from the exterior side:
- If the hinges are installed on the left, the door is left handed.
- If the hinges are installed on the right, the door is right-handed.
Before First Use
WARNING Risk of suffocation!
Keep any packaging materials away from children and pets – these materials are
a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
- Remove all the packing materials.
- Remove and review all components before starting installation.
- Check the product for transport damages.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- To clean the product, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
- Regularly check that all the components and fasteners are tightened.
Disposal
Dispose of the product according to local regulations. If in doubt, consult
your local authorities.

Drilling Instruction
Confirm that the hole in door edge is 01″ (25.4 mm) and the door is between 1-3/8″ (35 mm) and 1-3/4″ (45 mm) thick. Also confirm that the hole in the door is 02-1/8″ (54 mm).
Hold the latch (J) with the latch face plate (H) flush against the door edge. Ensure that the square hole is not tilted and it is centered in the door hole. Adjust the latch if needed.
Optional – for doors with chiseled pocket: pry open the attached latch face plate (H} and replace it with the rectangular one.
Optional – for doors without chiseled pocket: pry open the attached latch face plate (H). Remove the face plate holder and attach the drive-in collar (G).
Latch with face plate (HJ: Fit it into the hole and secure with 2 screws (E).
Latch with drive-in collar (G): Insert it and tap into position using a wood
block and hammer. Latch bolt bevel must face to closing direction.
Mount the exterior lever (I) on the door. The spindle and the middle bolt of the lever must pass through the slot on the latch (J).
Mount the interior chassis (K), the interior rose (B) and interior lever (A) on the door with 2 bolts (C).
Ensure that the door frame hole is at least 1″ (25 mm) deep. Mount the strike plate (Fl on the door frame with 2 screws (E).
Use template to mark holes on door. Fold template along fold line and place it along the door edge. Select the drilling point for different door thickness: 1-3/8″ (35 mm), 1-9/16″ (40 mm) or 1-3/4″ (45 mm).
Drill the holes using chisel and circular drill bits.
NOTICE Drill from one side until the drill just breaks through,
Mark the outline of the face plate (H). Chisel 1 /8″ (3 mm) deep for the face plate (H).
Mark the positions of the screw holes. Drill 2 1″ (25 mm) deep holes for each face plate using 1/8″ (3 mm) drill bit.
Close the door and mark the top and bottom position of the latch across the door frame. Open the door and measure the distance X from the exterior door edge to the flat end of the latch.
Mark a vertical line on the door frame for the measured distance X from the outside to the inside. Align the strike plate (Fl with the 3 guidel
Mark and drill a 1/2″ (13 mm) deep hole for the lever at intersection of horizontal and vertical lines of the cutout of the strike plate (F).
Chisel 1/16″ (1.6 mm) deep for the strike plate (F).
