Product Usage Instructions
Motorized with Open Roll
Install the Brackets:
Secure the roller shade installation brackets with the supplied screws.
Install the Shade:
If the shade was ordered as an outside mount (OB), attach the supplied screw
covers onto the bracket for a finished look.
Motorized with Deco Fascia
Install the Fascia Brackets:
The magnet clips arrive pre-attached and evenly spaced to the Deco Fascia. For
an outside mount (OB) installation, use T-Bracket installation and space
brackets evenly. Do not attach the Deco Fascia until the shade has been
installed.
Install the Brackets:
Secure the roller shade installation brackets with the supplied screws. If the
shade was ordered as an outside mount (OB), attach the supplied screw covers
onto the bracket for a finished look.

Programming Instructions
Refer to the programming instructions included with your operating option.
Attach the External Battery
The external battery must be attached to the motor prior to use. Connect the
smaller two-pronged attachment from the motor to the corresponding attachment
on the battery. The battery can be attached to the back of the headrail using
wire clips connected to the mounting brackets or attached to the window frame
in a discreet location.
Child Safety
Always keep cords out of children’s reach to prevent strangulation.

Install the Fascia Brackets

Programming Instructions
Refer to the programming instructions included with your operating option.
Attach the External Battery
The external battery must be attached to the motor prior to use. The motor-to-
battery cable has a smaller two-pronged attachment, which protrudes from the
motor. Find the corresponding attachment running out one end of the battery
and connect the attachment to the cable protruding from the motor. The battery
has an on-board Micro-USB port that connects to the battery charger kit’s 4M
wire. There is an optional 8” and 48” extension wire that can extend the reach
of the charger kit that may be purchased separately. The battery can either be
attached to the back of the headrail using the wire clips connected to the
mounting brackets or attached to the window frame in a discreet location.
Child Safety
Young children can be STRANGLED in cord loops and in the loop above the
cord stop. Always keep cords out of children’s reach.
- Move cribs, playpens, and other furniture away from cords. Children can climb furniture to get to cords.
- Do not tie cords together.
- Make sure cords do not twist together and create a loop.

- Do not cut the antenna. Keep it clear from metal objects.

- If the power cable or connector is damaged, do not use it.
- Ensure the correct crown and drive adaptor are used.
- Ensure the power cable and aerial are clear and protected from moving parts.
- Cable routed through walls should be properly isolated.
- The motor is to be mounted in a horizontal position only.
- Before installation, remove unnecessary cords and disable equipment not needed for powered operation.
- Installation and programming should be performed by a qualified professional. Use or modification outside the scope of these instructions may void the warranty.

Remote Button Instructions
Replace/Install CR2450 Battery
- Unscrew with the screwdriver then gently press down the cover.
- Install battery (CR2450) with positive (+) side facing up.
- Gently assemble the cover back and replace the screw with a screwdriver.

Channel Options
Select A Channel
- Press the “<” button on the remote to select a lower channel.
- Press the “>” button on the remote to select a higher channel.
Hide Unused Channels
- Press and Hold (about 3 sec) the “<” and “>” buttons simultaneously until the remote control displays “C” (channel).
- Press the “<” or “>” button to select the required quantity of channels (between 1 to 15).
- Press the “Stop” button to confirm the selection (the example shows a 5-channel selection). The LED will display “O” (OK) once to confirm selection.
Advanced Setting – Disable Limit Setting
- Remove the cover from the backside of the remote, the lock switch is in the right corner.
- Move the switch to the “Lock” position to disable the following commands, remote will show “L” (lock):
- Change Motor Direction
- Setting the Upper and Lower Limit
- Adjust Limit
- Roller Mode or Sheer Mode
- Move the switch to the “Unlock” position to assess all remote functions, remote will show “U” (unlock).
This advanced feature is intended to be used after all shade programming is completed. User Mode will prevent accidental or unintended changing of limits.

Initial Set-up
Pair/Unpair Remote Control
- Press the “P1” button (about 2 sec) on the motor head until the motor jogs x1 and beeps x1.
- In the next 10 secs, press and hold the “Stop” button on the remote control until the motor jog x2 and beep x3.
- Repeat the same procedure to unpair the remote control.
Change Motor Direction (if necessary)
- Press the “Up” or “Down” button to check if the shade moves in the desired direction.
- If you need to reverse the direction, press, and hold (about 2 sec) the “Up” and “Down” buttons simultaneously until the motor jogs x1 and beeps x1.
- The operation is only valid when there are no limits. If the motor has already set the upper and lower limit, then you can only switch direction by pressing the P1 button (See P1 button instructions).
Setting the Upper and Lower Limits
Set Upper Limit
- Press the “Up” button to raise the shade, then press the “Stop” button when it is in the desired upper limit.
- Press and hold (about 5 sec) the “Up” and “Stop” buttons simultaneously until the motor jog x2 and beep x3.
Set Lower Limit
- Press the “Down” button to lower the shade, then press the “Stop” button when it is in the desired lower limit.
- Press and hold (about 5 sec) the “Down” and “Stop” buttons simultaneously until the motor jog x2 and beep x3.
- If you exit the limit setting status before you finish the limit settings, the motor will take the previous existing limits.
Adjust Limits
- Adjust the Upper Limit
- Press and hold (about 5 sec) the “Up” and “Stop” buttons simultaneously until the motor jogs x1 and beeps x1.
- Use the “Up” button to raise the shade to the desired highest position, and use the “Up” or “Down” button to make the final adjustment if necessary.
- Press and hold (about 5 sec) the “Up” and “Stop” buttons simultaneously until the motor jog x2 and beep x3.
- Adjust the Lower Limit
- Press and hold (about 5 sec) the “Down” and “Stop” buttons simultaneously until the motor jogs x1 and beeps x1.
- Use the “Down” button to lower the shade to the desired lowest position, and use the “Up” or “Down” button to do the final adjustment if necessary.
- Press and hold (about 5 sec) the “Down” and “Stop” buttons simultaneously until the motor jog x2 and beep x3.
Favorite Position

- Use the “Up” or “Down” button to move the shade to the desired Favorite position.
- Press one “P2” button on the back of the remote control until the motor jogs x1 and beeps x1.
- Press the “Stop” button until the motor jogs x1 and beeps x1.
- Once more, press the “Stop” button until the motor jog x2 and beeps x3.

Send Shade to Favorite Position
Press and hold (about 2 sec) the “Stop” button, and the motor will move to the Favorite position. -
Delete Favorite Position
- Press one “P2” button until motor jog and beep x1.
- Press the “Stop” button until the motor jog and beep x1.
- Once more, press the “Stop” button until the motor jog x1 and long beep x1.
Add or Remove Additional Remote
- Using the Current Remote Control
- On the current remote control, press one “P2” button until the motor jog x1 and beep x1.
- Once more, on the current remote control, press one “P2” button until the motor jogs x1 and beeps x1.
- On the New remote control, press one “P2” button until the motor jog x2 and beep x3.
- Repeat the same procedure to remove the additional remote control.

- Press one “P2” button until motor jog x1 and beep x1.
- Press the “Up” button until the motor jogs x1 and beeps x1.
- Once more, press “Up” button until the motor jog x2 and beep x1.
- Deceleration Speed
- Press one “P2” button until motor jog x1 and beep x1.
- Press the “Down” button until the motor jogs x1 and beeps x1.
- Once more, press “Down” button until the motor jog x2 and beep x1.
If the motor has no response, it already has a Maximum or Minimum speed.
Roller or Sheer Mode
- Roller Shade Mode – continue movement after a short press – Default Mode
- Press and hold (about 5 sec) the “Up” and “Down” buttons simultaneously until the motor jogs x1.
- Press and hold (about 2 sec) the “Stop” button until the motor jog x2 and beep x3.
- Sheer Shade Mode – jog movement after a short press (continue movement after a long press)
- Press and hold (about 5 sec) the “Up” and “Down” buttons simultaneously until the motor jog x1.
- Press and hold (about 2 sec) the “Stop” button until the motor jogs x1 and beeps x1.
