GETTING KNOW
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR ROTATING WAFFLE MAKER
Product may vary slightly from illustrations.
BEFORE FIRST USE
- Carefully unpack the Rotating Waffle Maker and remove all packaging and materials.
- Before using your Waffle Maker for the first time, wipe the cooking plates with a damp cloth to remove all dust, and then dry. Wipe outer surfaces with a slightly damp, soft cloth or sponge.
CAUTION: Take care to prevent water from running into the appliance.
- Never immerse Rotating Waffle Maker BODY in water or any other liquids!
- Set the appliance on a dry, clean, and flat surface.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- Plug the unit into a 120 V AC electrical outlet. The unit will beep, and the POWER button will flash. Make sure the Rotating Waffle Maker’s bottom cooking plate is positioned flat and locked into a stable position. Before baking the first waffles of the day, use a pastry brush to lightly coat the top and bottom waffle plates with vegetable oil. Do not use non-stick sprays as they can cause build-up on the cooking plates.
- NOTE: When your Rotating Waffle Maker is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This is normal and should disappear after one or two uses. This does not affect the safety of the appliance. However, as it may affect the flavor of the first waffles prepared in the Waffle Maker, it is recommended that these be discarded.
- Press POWER button and PREHEAT will start
- The display will show default browning level (6) and the word PREHEAT will appear on the screen.
- Press the up (+) or down (–) buttons to change the browning level from 1 to 8. Once the number stops blinking that’s the level you have selected.
- Set the waffle temperature control to the desired setting. A lower setting produces a lighter browned waffle, while waffles made at a higher setting are darker and crispier. When preparing a recipe for the first time, set the control to the middle; then adjust according to preference. Recipes will vary in cook time and brownness; batters with more sugar will brown quicker. Note the perfect setting for each batter recipe for future use.
- You can press MODE button to change from Browning Level to Time and you’ll see 4:00 on the screen. See table for a reference of browning level and time:

If necessary, use a spatula to spread the batter into the corners of the plate. Try not to overfill, batter will expand when cooked. The drip tray will catch any spilled-over batter.
9. After pouring the batter on the cooking plate, close the lid and then rotate the handle 180 degrees in a clockwise direction.
