INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the JOYO product. We know you don’t like reading owner’s manuals, but you’ve just purchased one of the finest portable amplifiers, and we want to tell you about it. So before you plug in, please take a few minutes to browse it.
JPA863 features a dual channel Class D power amplifier chip and peak power reach up to 120W. The Class D power amplifier chip is characterized by high efficiency and energy-saving and therefore enhances the battery’s durability.
JPA863 includes one matched 10″ 4Ohm speaker and one 3″ 4Ohm speaker. A built- in lead-acid battery, ensuring lightweight and portable and thus suitable for different occasions. Perfect for small venues such as clubs, homes, and studios. It also features Aux In and Player functions, and together with the Bluetooth function, it will be your best companion.
JPA863’s wireless microphone section, using the VHF200-270MHz frequency range, is designed with a crystal oscillator circuit, which ensures high-frequency stability and anti-interference.

  1. INPUT—Acoustic-electric Guitar Input Jack 1, connect your acoustic-electric guitar to this 6.35mm unbalanced Jack, it’s specially designed for processing the acoustic-electric guitar’s signal.
  2. INPUT2— Acoustic-electric Guitar Input Jack 2, connect your acoustic-electric guitar to this 6.35mm unbalanced Jack, it’s specially designed for processing the acoustic-electric guitar’s signal.
  3. VOLUME— Acoustic-electric Guitar Input 1 volume, turn it clockwise(+), the volume will be turned up, turn it counterclockwise(-), the volume will be turned down. To gain the best SNR, please turn your acoustic-electric Guitar output to a suitable volume, and then turn it to the desired tone.
  4. VOLUME2— Acoustic-electric Guitar Input 2 volume, turn it clockwise(+), the volume will be turned up, turn it counterclockwise(-), the volume will be turned down. To gain the best SNR, please turn your acoustic-electric Guitar output to a suitable volume, and then turn it to the desired tone.
  5. TREBLE CONTROL KNOB — For acoustic-electric guitar, Input 1 provides approximately 12dB of boost, when the knob is at the triangle”0″ position(at a sticking point), there is no boost or attenuation. Turn it clockwise(+), the treble will be turned up, turn it counterclockwise(-), and the treble will be attenuated.
  6. TREBLE CONTROL KNOB— For acoustic-electric guitar input 2, it provides approximately 12dB of boost, when the knob is at the triangle “0” position(at a sticking point), there is no boost or attenuation. Turn it clockwise(+), the treble will be turned up, turn it counterclockwise(-), and the treble will be attenuated.
  7. BASS CONTROL— For acoustic-electric guitar input 1, it provides approximately 12dB of boost, when the knob is at the triangle “0” position(at a sticking point), there is no boost or attenuation. Turn it clockwise(+), and the bass will be turned up, turn it counterclockwise(-), and the bass will be attenuated.
  8. BASS CONTROL— For acoustic-electric guitar input 2, it provides approximately 12dB of boost, when the knob is at the triangle”0? position(at a sticking point), there is no boost or attenuation. Turn it clockwise(+), and the bass will be turned up, turn it counterclockwise(-), and the bass will be attenuated.
  9. MIC1— Moving coil microphone Input Jack, connect your moving-coil microphone to this balanced or unbalanced Jack, JPA863 amp’s input is specially designed for processing signals of moving-coil microphone.
  10. MIC2— Moving coil microphone Input Jack, connect your moving-coil microphone to this balanced or unbalanced Jack, JPA863 amp’s input is specially designed for processing signals of moving-coil microphone.
  11. VOLUME 1 KNOB— Moving-coil microphone Input Jack (MIC 1) volume knob, turn it clockwise(+), the volume will be turned up, turn it counterclockwise(-), the volume will be turned down. To gain the best SNR, please adjust the moving-coil microphone output at a suitable volume first, and then choose the tone you like. Please adjust the volume 1 knob and make sure the wireless microphone output is at a suitable volume when using wireless microphone mode.
  12. VOLUME 2 KNOB— Moving-coil microphone Input Jack (MIC 2)volume knob, turn it clockwise(+), the volume will be turned up, turn it counterclockwise(-), the volume will be turned down. To gain the best SNR, please adjust the moving-coil microphone output at a suitable volume first, and then choose the tone you like. Please adjust the volume 2 knob and make sure the wireless microphone output is at a suitable volume when using wireless microphone mode.
  13. BASS KNOB— Moving-coil microphone Input Jack(MIC 1) bass knob, provides approximately 12dB of boost, when the knob is at the triangle “0” position(at a sticking point), there is no boost or attenuation. Turn it clockwise(+), and the bass will be turned up, turn it counterclockwise(-), and the bass will be attenuated.
  16. BASS KNOB— Moving-coil microphone Input Jack(MIC 2) bass knob, it provides approximately 12dB of boost, when the knob is at the triangle “0” position(at a sticking point), there is no boost or attenuation. Turn it clockwise(+), and the bass will be turned up, turn it counterclockwise(-), and the bass will be attenuated.
  17. Depth of delay(F.BACK)— Turn it clockwise(+), and the delay will deepen, turn it counterclockwise(-), and the delay will accelerate.
  18. Delay knob(DELAY)— Moving-coil microphone delay knob, firstly turn (F.BACK) clockwise(+) to a suitable position, and then turn the DELAY knob clockwise(+) and get different delay effects.
  19. ACTIVATOR KNOB—Moving coil microphone activator knob, turn it clockwise(+), it will boost the treble and labiodental of the microphone, turn it counterclockwise(-), and the treble and labiodental will be decreased.
  20. MASTER VOLUME KNOB— Turn it clockwise(+), the volume will be turned up, turn it counterclockwise (-), and the volume will be turned down.
  21. AUX IN Jack(AUX IN)— Connect your music signal source to this 3.5mm dual track Jack, and adjust its volume, (NEXT VOL+) and (PREV VOL-) so as to ensure your music output is at a suitable volume.
  22. Music Volume Potentiometer(MUSIC VOL)— Turn it clockwise(+), the volume will be turned up, turn it counterclockwise(-), the volume will be turned down.
  23. Bluetooth Switch— Press and hold the Bluetooth switch and turn on the Bluetooth, and the Bluetooth indicator is on and begins to flicker, now you can connect the Bluetooth, and then the Bluetooth indicator stops flickering and is on, which means you can play music. Press and hold the Bluetooth switch and disconnect the Bluetooth connection, the Bluetooth indicator flickers and you can connect it to Bluetooth. Press and hold the Bluetooth switch and turn off the Bluetooth.
  24. Bluetooth Indicator— When the blue indicator flickers, it means the Bluetooth is turned on, the Bluetooth connects when the blue indicator is on.
  25. POWER SWITCH(ON/OFF) — The unit’s power switch, switch it on, it can operate, please turn it off when not in use.
  26. POWER INDICATOR/LOW-VOLTAGE INDICATOR(POWER) — The indicator is on(red) when charging and operating normally, if the indicator changes from red to blue, it means the battery is about to be used up, about 10 minutes of usage(the exact time differs slightly according to the exact use and battery aging), if the battery is used up, the unit will turn off the audio output automatically, and the power indicator is still blue, which reminds you to turn off the power and charge to avoid damaging the battery. Remember to charge it in time when the battery is about to be used up. Use it after a full charge, otherwise, it will undermine the battery life.
  27. CHARGING INDICATOR(CHARGING)— The charging indicator is red while charging, the charging indicator goes out when it’s fully charged.
  28. BATTERY DC12V IN— The Jack for an external battery, is specially designed for low battery of the built-in battery, you can connect a 12V external battery to this Jack and the unit operates normally. Before connecting, please note that the polarity of this Jack is center positive, otherwise the unit won’t operate normally.
  29. CHARGING DC15V IN— Plug the attached power adapter output Jack into the CHARGING DC15V In, and the charger the charging indicator goes out once it’s fully charged. A full after VIPs, you MPPlis unit during Fig ones
  30. AUDIO OUTPUT JACK(LINE OUT)— Connect this Jack to other audio devices, such as a mixer, power amplifier, and more.
  31. PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON(PLAY/PAUSE)— You can tap this button to pause while the music is playing, tap this button twice, and starts playing music; it can search for a station automatically during FM radio mode.
  32. PREVIOUS/VOLUME(PREV/VOL-)— You can tap this button and back to the previous song while the music is playing, the volume turns down when you press and hold this button; In FM radio mode, tap this button means back to the previous station, press and hold it means the volume will be turned down.
  33. NEXT/VOLUME(NEXT/VOL+)— You can tap this button and go to the next song while the music is playing, the volume turns up when you press and hold this button; In FM radio mode, tapping this button means to go to the next station, press and hold it means the volume will be turned up.
  34. REPEAT— When playing music, (NORMAL)-►(SIGNALE) -,(RANDOM) -0(ALL) -0 (NORMAL) in sequence.
  35. EQ— With 5 built-in sound effects, tap this button and choose them, (NORMAL)-►(JAZZ) -‘(ROCK) -‘(POP) -0(CLASSIC) -‘(NORMAL) in sequence, one effect is chosen the moment you stop tapping the button.
  36. MODE—In the initial state, it s (AUX), with SD card and USB: tap this button, switching sequence is SD-FM-*AUX-USB-ISD; with USB only, the switching sequence is USB-‘FM-‘ AUX-4USB; with SD card only, switching sequence is SD-►FM-►AUX-►SD.
  37. USB— Insert your USB to this Jack, the player starts to play automatically. It supports MP1 Layer3, MP2 Layer3, and MP3 Layer3 versions of music.
  38. SD/MMC CARD INPUT JACK(SD/MMC CARD)— Insert your SD card into this Jack, and the player starts to play automatically. It supports MP1 Layer3, MP2 Layer3, and MP3 Layer3 versions of music.

APPLICATIONS

Suitable for outdoor performance, indoor rehearsal, karaoke accompaniment, shopping malls and exhibitions, workout accompaniment outdoors, conferences, campfire parties, and singing. The guitar and Microphone can be used simultaneously

BATTERY MAINTENANCE

When your amp is turned on, the power indicator LED changes from red to blue indicating that it’ s time to recharge the battery, and now you need to turn off the amp, connect the attached power cable with the adapter, and plug into the DC15V Jack, the Charge Indicator light becomes red indicating the amp is charging, the Charge Indicator light goes out once fully charged. Besides, you can operate the unit while it’s recharging.
Notice: Please don’t disconnect the power when it is charging, otherwise it will affect the battery life.

  1. If your amp is stored for an extended period, please keep the full battery and recharge every 2 months, otherwise, battery aging may occur.
  2. Don’t place the amp upside down, or the battery liquid will leak and damage the battery.
  3. When the power indicator changes from red to blue, it means the battery is about to be used up, and please charge it in time.
  4. After a full charge, if it cannot operate for one hour, it means battery aging occurred, please change a new battery.
