Introduction

Hard-water salts causes corrosion which results in breakdowns and maintenance requirement of your washing machine. Purifit Filter protects your washing machine and its components with its unique filtration properties.
These hard-water salts also makes the fabric of your clothes looks dull and leaving them stiff and rough. Purifit filter guarantees a supply off clean water ensuring fabrics retain their colour and softness, at the same time extending the life of your washing machine.

How does it Work?

Purifit Washing Filter is a multilayer filter that comes with best in class anti-scalants & sediment filters. These layer ensures that the sediments are filtered out and hard-water is conditioned before they reach your washing machine.
Instead of forming white lime-scale deposits (white powder/deposits that you see on your tiles and bathroom fittings) they are converted into less sticky, fine particles that easily wash away.
The sediment filtering present inside the Purifit ensures that dust and sediments are not entering your washing machine.

Installation

Purifit installation is very simple and can be
fitted with almost all automatic washing
machine models.

Steps for Installation:

1. Wrap the water inlet of the washing machine thoroughly with PTFE/Teflon tape. This is to prevent leaks from the connection.
2. Connect the Purifit Washing machine filter to the inlet and rotate clockwise to tighten.
3. Now wrap the inlet of the Purifit washing machine filter with PTFE/ Teflon tape & connect the water hose and rotate the hose connector clockwise to tighten.

Please check the filter a couple of times during the first wash cycle. If leaks are found, remove the filter set and re-install.

Maintenance

Maintaining the Purifit washing machine filter is very easy. If water flow is reduced overtime, due to trapped sediments in the cartridge, you can clean the cartridge with a brush/ scrubber under a stream of water. Cleaning the cartridge once every 45-60 days is recommended if your water is high in sediments.
To protect your washing machine from sediments and other impurities it is mandatory to keep your washing machine filter in good condition.

Cartridge Replacement

Front load washing machine models usually consume less water compared to top load variants, and therefore gives more yield to your filter cartridges.
For an average of 3 full load washes per week, the cartridge life is as below

• Top Load: 4 to 6 months
  Front Load: 6- 9 months

• Filter life depends on water quality and consumption.

For Best results

Do not use too much detergent. As it will cause the clothes look dull and grey because it deposits soil/dirt back onto the clothes. More detergent will not clean the clothes.
You should only open the tap when you are starting laundry and always keep the tap close when it is not in use.
