“The binoculars are intended only for pri- vate use. Please heed the privacy of other people. Do not use themto lock into apart ments, for example.

Eyepieces for spectacle wearers
Depending on the model, your binoculars are equipped with either twist-up eyecups (2a) or rub- ber eyecups (2b). Since there is a larger distance between the binocular eyepiece and the pupil for those wearing glasses, both eyecup varieties can be adjusted individually.

Tuwistup Erecups (2a)
Screw in the twist-up eyecups (2a) to use the bin- oculars while wearing glasses.
If you are not wear- ing glasses, unscrew the eyecups o achieve the required distance from your pupils.

rubber eyecups (2b)
To use the binoculars while wearing glasses, tum the toward the sides and down If you are not wearing glasses, leave the eyecups in the upright position to achieve the required dis- tance from your pupils.
Adjusting the eyepiece distance
The distance between your eyes differs between individuals. To achieve perfect interaction between your eyes and the eyepieces of your binoculars, set the angle at the centre of the binoculars (1) so that you see a circular image (10). Note this setting for later use.
Adjusting the focus
Look through your binoculars with your right eye closed. Now adjust the image for your left eye by turning the centre wheel (6) until it is sharp and clear. Close your left eye and adjust the image for your right eye by turing the dioptre ring (3) until it is also sharp and clear.

Mounting the binoculars on a tripod
Your binoculars have a threaded tripod connection  (9) builtin.
The required tripod adapter is avalable in stores as an optional accessory (Art. No. 1916000 or 1916500). With this accessory, you are able to mount your binoculars on a tripod witha DIN mount- ing thread (e.g. Art. No. 4922100).

NOTES on cleaning

  • Clean the eyepieces and lenses only with a soft, lintfree cloth, like a microfibre cloth. To avoid scratching the lenses, use only gentle pressure with the cleaning cloth
  • To remove more stubbom dirt, moisten the cleaning cloth with an eyeglass-cleaning solu- tion and wipe the lenses gently
  • Protect the device from dust and moisture. After use, particularly in high humidity, let the device acclimatize for a short period of time, so that the. residual moisture can dissipate before storing.
    Remove the dust cover and store it in the includ- edbag during use.

DISPOSAL

  • Dispose of the packaging materials properly, ac- cording to theirtype, such as paper or cardboard. Contact your ocal waste-disposal service or envi- ronmental authority for information on the proper disposal.
  • Please take the current legal regulations into ac- count when disposing of your device. You can get more information on the proper disposal from your local wastedisposal service or environmen- tal authority.

WARRANTY

The regular warranty period for this product is 5 ye- ars and starts on the day of purchase.
Please keep the proof of purchase (receipt/invoice) carefully as proof of purchase.
During the warranty period, defective devices will be accepted by your local specialist store. Altema- tively, you can contact the service center by email at service@bresser.de. Here you can find detailed information about a possible return. In the event of a warranty claim, you will always receive a new or repaired device back free of charge. Itis up to the quarantor to decide whether to repair or replace the device.
The guarantee expires if defects in the object of purchase are due to the following circumstances:

  • improper usage
  • negligent or intentional damage thiough own fault and/or unauthorized third parties
  • negligent or ntentional damage by the buyer and/ orthird parties
  • Repairs or alterations carried out by third parties ‘without our order
  • Changes or damage du to force majeure (storm, hail, fire, power failure, lightning, flooding, snow damage, frost and other effects caused by ani mals, etc.)

The warranty is also void if a damaged and/or ille- gible or incomplete proof of purchase is presented. Statutory warranty claims, the claim of whichis free of charge, remain unaffected.

After the warranty period has expired, you also have the option to send a defective device for repair Repairs after the warranty period has expired are chargeable. You wil receive a cost estimate from us before carrying out the repair.

Before returning an item, please contact the service center via our service@bresser.de email! Make sure the item is shipped carefully packaged. If possible, use the original packaging. Fill out the return form below and include it with a copy of the purchase receipt with the shipment. Unfree shipments cannot be accepted!
