Alarm clock with
wireless charging function and Bluetooth®
Safety warnings
Read the safety warnings carefully and only use the product as described in
these instructions to avoid accidental injury or damage. Keep these
instructions for future reference.
If you pass this product on to another person, remember to also include these
instructions.
Intended use
The alarm also serves as a sound output device for mobile playback devices
such as smartphones, tablets, notebook computers and MP3 players, to which it
can be connected via 8/uetooth® or audio
cable, and as a means of charging various types of rechargeable mobile devices
with a charging voltage of 5V, either wirelessly or using a USB cable.
The alarm clock is designed for private use and is not suitable for commercial
purposes.
The alarm clock is intended for indoor use. Only use the device under moderate
climatic conditions.
DANGER to children
-
Children are not aware of the risks involved when handling electronic devices incorrectly.
Therefore, keep children away from the product. -
Swallowing batteries can be fatal. This product is equipped with a button cell (back-up) battery. If a button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal chemical burns and even death within 2 hours.
Therefore, keep both new and old batteries out of the reach of children. If the battery compartment no longer closes properly, discontinue use of the product and keep it out of the reach of children. If you think that a battery has been swallowe or has got into the body in any other way, seek medical advice immediately. -
Keep all packaging material out of the reach of children.
There is a risk of suffocation! damaged, dispose of the main adapter. -
Do not take the device apart.
Do not make any modifications to the product. Improper repairs can result in considerable risks to the user. Only have repairs to the device carried out by a specialist workshop.4
WARNING – risk of overheating burns

Do not operate the alarm clock in closed cabinets or on shelves with insufficient ventilation.
The air circulation must not be impaired by newspapers, tablecloths, curtains etc. covering the ventilation slots. The alarm clock must have at least 5 cm free on all sides. -
The mobile device being charged on the charging area will get become warm as it charges. Do not cover the device.

Do not place any metal objects on to the charging area. Also refrain from placing mobile devices without wireless charging capability on the charging area. Risk of overheating!

Do not place candles on or near the device.

The device is equipped with a back-up battery. Please note: Lithium batteries can explode if inserted incorrectly or if an external short-circuit occurs.
Therefore, ensure that the polarity(+/-) is correct when inserting the battery. Only use the same type of battery or an equivalent one {refer to section titled “Technical specifications”).
Take the battery out of the device and stick tape over the poles. Batteries must be discharged and disposed of separately. -
Do not modify and/or deform/ heat/dismantle rechargeable batteries.

If a battery leaks, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. If necessary, rinse the affected areas with water and consult a doctor immediately.
CAUTION – material damage

Do not expose the device to naked flames, water, damp surroundings, high temperatures, or direct sunlight, etc.
Protect the device from impacts, collisions, vibrations and other mechanical influences.
Do not cover the device during use. -
Never open or remove any part of the alarm clock casing.
Do not insert any objects into the openings in the casing. -
Avoid direct contact with any magnetised ID cards, phone cards, credit cards, etc. as well as audio tapes, watches, etc.
They could become damaged by the built-in magnets in the alarm clock. -
Some varnishes, plastics and furniture polishes may react adversely with the material of the non-slip feet and cause them to soften.
To avoid unwanted marks on furniture, place the product on a non-slip surface. -
Do not use any caustic chemicals, or aggressive or abrasive detergents for cleaning.
Prior to first use Switching on and off
- Connect the mains adapter to the DC9V mains adapter port on the back of the device.
- Insert the mains adapter into a wall socket.
- To switch the device on/off, hold down the Power/Source button on the top of the device for a few seconds.
Activating the back-up battery
There is a battery compartment for the back-up battery on the bottom of the
device. The back·up battery ensures that the pro· grammed time and alarm times
remain saved for at least 12 hours
of the device is disconnected from the power supply, or in the event of a
power cut.
The display will turn off completely during this time.
A The back-up battery is ._, not required for normal operation of the device.
It is not possible to operate the device using only the battery, without
connecting it to the mains power.
I> To activate the back-up battery, pull the insulating strip out of the
battery compartment.
Selling the time
The device must be set to the standard time mode (with the time on the display).
- Hold down the Sleep/Set button until the hours on the display start to flash.
- Set the hours using Vol+ and Vol-. {l If you hold down the respective button, the numbers will scroll more quickly.
- Briefly press Sleep/Set to confirm. The minutes start to flash.
- Set the minutes using Vol+ and Vol-.
- Hold down Sleep/Set to save the time.
Setting the alarm clock

Hold down the Alarm button until 0 and the hours on the display start to flash.

Set the hours using Vol+ and Vol-.

Briefly press Alarm to confirm.
The minutes start to flash. -
Set the minutes using Vol+ and Vol-.

Briefly press Alarm to confirm.
The alarm sound selection starts to flash. You can choose from 6 alarm sounds (S1-S6). -
Set the alarm sound using Vol+ and Vol-. Each alarm sound is played in turn.

To save the alarm sound and leave the settings menu, press Alarm once again.
The alarm symbol 0 will appear on the display.
If your smartpone is connected to the device via Bluetooth5, you can set music as your alarm: I. Switch to Bluetooth’ mode and connect your smartphone (see description overleaf).
2. Begin playback and then pause it again. The alarm will now play music on your smartphone. {l If the Bluetooth® connection is disrupted, you will be woken up by a standard alarm sound.
Switching the alarm on/off
I> To switch the alarm on/off, briefly press Alarm.
When the alarm is switched on, the alarm symbol 0 can be seen on the display.
Interrupting/switching off the alarm signal
I> When the alarm sounds … .. briefly press the SNOOZE button. The snooze
symbol ~ will appear on the display.
The alarm will be interrupted for approx. 9 minutes and will then sound again.
You can repeat this as often as you wish.
Setting the sleep lime
In normal alarm mode and the Bluetootho• or MIX modes, you can set a sleep time. The device and its display will then switch off auto-matically after the time you set. This can be set in increments of 10 from 10 to 90 minutes, or set to OFF > To set the sleep time, press Sleep/Set until the sleep you wish is shown on the display, or until you see OFF to deactivate this function. The bell symbol 0 will appear on the display. When the device is switched off after the set time: I> To check the time, briefly press any button. The display lights up at 50% brightness for approx. 5 seconds. Then the display switches off again. I> To switch the device on permanently, hold down Power/Source . The display will switch on at the brightness last selected. The bell symbol disappears from the display and the sleep function is deactivated.
Setting the display brightness
You can also set the brightness of the display in the following steps:
100%-75%-50%-25%-OFF. The device must not be in sleep or snooze mode. D Press
SNOOZE until the display is set to your preferred brightness. •
If you briefly press SNOOZE the display switches on at 50% brightness for
approx. 5 seconds. If the alarm is activated when the display is switched off,
the display will light up at the same time at 50% brightness. Theft, briefly
press SNOOZE to activate snooze mode, the brightness remains at 50%. Hold down
SNOOZE to switch off the alarm, the display will revert back to the previous
brightness setting.
Cordless charging
Where applicable, deactivate the vibration feature on the device being charged. The vibration make cause the device to move on the charging surface and disrupt the charging process.
- It is not possible to charge several devices simultaneously.
- You should also refer to the instruction manual of your mobile device.
- The wireless charging function may not work properly if the mobile device being charged is inside a thick protective case or a case containing a magnet (or similar).
Place your mobile device in the centre of the charging area. The device will
start to charge automatically. The charging symbol # will light up white
during charging.
The charging time depends on the battery capacity of the device being charged.
Depending on the type of smartphone, the charging symbol # lights up pink, or
remains white once the device is fully charged.
Therefore, check the charging status on the smartphone itself. I> If the
device does not begin to charge automatically, briefly remove it from the
charging area and then place it back again. 0 If a metallic foreign body is
placed on the charging area, the charging symbol # will fight up red. Remove
the foreign body. Alt Devices which are not capa-ble of wireless charging can
be charged by connecting them to the USB port on the back of the device using
a suitable USB cable.
Playing music
Changing modes
I> Briefly press the Power/ Source button to toggle betwen the time,
Bluetootle and AUX modes. 0 You can fall asleep with Bluetooth6 or AUX on.
However, you cannot have the alarm wake you via Bluetoofh® or AUX because the
playback de-vice connected will switch itself off during the sleep phase.
Tip: If you want to sleep with the BluetootV or AUX mode on, use the sleep
timer on your mobile device (if available) to switch it off at the same time
in order to save energy. Bluetootlf:
You can connect Bluetootte compatible devices with the alarm clock. • Some
devices require longer to establish a connection; this is not a fault. •
Always refer to the instruction manual for your mobile device. • As a rule, it
is only possible to connect the alarm clock with one device at a time. • You
may be required to enter a password. If so, enter
Establishing a Bluetooth’ connection
- To turn on Bluetooths mode, briefly press the Power/ Source button. The world blue and the BluetootIP symbol will flash on the display.
- Activate Bluetooth6 on your mobile device (e.g. smartphone) and start the device search.
- Select TCM622152 from the list of devices.
- Once the bluetooth has successfully connected, the Bluetooth® symbol* will appear continuously. eIf you switch off one of the devices in the meantime, they will automatically reconnect to each other when switched back on – provided they are close to each other, are switched on, and have BluefoottP activated. Playing music via Bluetooth’ 1 You can adjust the volume by briefly pressing the Vol+ and Vol- buttons on the alarm clock. I> You can play and pause the music by pressing the Play/ Pause button on the alarm clock. You may initially have to start playback on the mobile device itself. I> To jump forwards to the next or back to the previous track, press and hold down the VoI+
The alarm clock can play back music in all standard file formats supported by
the playback device.
The alarm clock also supports the A2DP transmission standard. This standard is
supported by most common smartphones and was specially developed for
transmitting stereo audio signals wirelessly via BluetootIP. Disconnecting a
Bluetooth. connection There can only be one device connected to the radio via
Bluetooth° at any time. If you would like to connect the alarm clock to
another device, you must first disconnect the current mobile device. AUX: You
can also connect mobile devices by inserting their head-phone jack into the
AUX IN port. You will need a suitable audio cable with a small jack (3.5mm) to
do so.
Cleaning
Wipe off the device with a soft, dry and lint-free cloth as required.
Inserting the back-up battery)
- To do so, loosen the screw and take the lid off the battery compartment.
- Remove the empty battery and insert a new one as illustrated. Ensure correct polarity. The plus pole must be poitingl upwards.
- Place the lid back on the battery compartment and tighten the screw.
Disposal
Devices marked with this symbol must not be disposed ■ of along with normal household waste! You are legally obliged to dispose of old devices separately from household waste. Electronic devices contain haz-ardous substances and, if stored or disposed of improperly, may cause harm to health and the en- vironment. Information about col-lection points where old devices can be disposed of free of charge is available from your local au-thorities.
Standard batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of along with household refuse! You are legally obliged to dispose of all flat batteries at a local authority collection point or to return them to a battery retailer..
