Cleaning and care
Cleaning the wok pan for the first time
- Clean the wok pan using a solution of warm water and a little washing-up liquid applied with a soft sponge.
- Then dry the wok pan. Cleaning the wok pan
- After each use, clean the wok pan with a solution of warm water and a little washing-up liquid applied with a soft sponge or a soft brush.
- Soften any stubborn soiling beforehand.
- You can remove persistent discoloration or soiling using Miele’s ceramic and stainless steel cleaner or any commercially available stainless steel cleaner.
- Please follow the cleaning agent manufacturer’s instructions.
- Afterwards, rinse the wok pan thoroughly with clean water to remove any cleaning agent residues.
- Dry the wok pan after cleaning with water.
Unsuitable cleaning agents
To avoid damaging the surfaces of the appliance, do not use:
- cleaning agents containing soda, alkaline, ammonia, acids or chlorides
- cleaning agents containing descaling agents
- stain and rust removers
- abrasive cleaning agents, e.g. powder cleaners and cream cleaners
- solvent-based cleaning agents
- dishwasher cleaner
- oven sprays
- glass cleaning agents
- hard, abrasive brushes or sponges (e.g. pot scourers), or sponges which have been previously used and still contain abrasive cleaning agents
- melamine eraser blocks
