Where should I install the solar panel?

It is recommended that the solar panel be installed in an open environment and the angle be adjusted to ensure that it absorbs the most solar energy when it is in full sunlight and is exposed to sunlight for more than 5 hours a day.

How to connect the solar panel to my camera?

Please insert the interface of the solar panel charging cable into the charge port of the camera. Note Please don't remove the whole rubber cover, just open the small rubber cover, pass the interface through the cover, then insert it into the charge port of the camera. Please make sure the USB connector is fully plugged into the camera.

How do I confirm the solar panel is supplying power to the camera?

If there is enough sunlight, please check the camera charging indicator light is red. And the charging status is displayed on the Cloud Edge app.

How to optimize the effectiveness of the solar panel?

Choose a location for your solar panel that gets plenty of sunlight; try to avoid spots that are in the shade for a significant portion of the day. Mount your solar panel facing true south (in the northern hemisphere) or true north (in the southern hemisphere) and tilt it to the appropriate angle for your latitude. Wipe the panel every few months to remove dust or debris that might affect the solar energy-harvesting efficiency of the panel.

Why my camera power still drops when a solar panel is connected?

It is because the camera keeps being triggered to be working. As a result, the charging cannot keep up with the battery consumption. Also, the solar panel is designed to provide trickle charging to keep your camera battery charged, not to charge your camera battery from low to full. So please make sure your camera's battery is fully charged before connecting to the solar panel.
