Don’t cut off the tie before installation, or it will cause the doorway to deform as shown, which will increase the difficulty of installation. this is not a quality problem, the gate still can be installed.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Locate the 4 pressured Adjustment Bolts(B).Rotate the adjustment wheels along the threading, eliminating the gap between the adjustment wheel and the rubber foot.

Insert the 4 Pressured Adjustment Bolts(B) into the holes at each of the four corners of the gate. Try to keep the left and right sides of the bolts symmetrical

Position the gate so that it is level and centered within your doorway or opening. Twist 4 adjusting nuts until the mark line on the lock tongue is parallel with the lock slot, then the installation is successful.
USING THE LATCH

Press your palm against the upper part of the plastic block at the same time, gently pull back the entire plastic parts to compress the headlock to open the door of the frame.
Adding extension -
Choose the side of the gate to be extended and remove Pressured Adjustment Bolts. Insert all the extensions to the holes of the main gate. (if there are two or three extensions.you can put leftside and right side each side one or twoextensions, not put all the extensions in one side of the gate.) Insert the 4 spindle rods as instructed in Step 2. Reposition the gate in your doorway or opening andAdd the Anti-kick Board to the bottom of the main gate to avoid older and child fall down by the gate.
WARNING
- To prevent serious injury or death securely install gate in doorway or opening according to instruction.
- Check the gate regularly to see if all the hardware and mountings are tightened.
- Never use with pet able to jump over or dislodge from opening. Never leave pet unattended.
- Use only with the latch locked and securely engaged.
- Stop using gate if any parts are missing or damaged.
- This product will not prevent all accidents.
- Strangulation hazard: Pets can force themselves into very small openings; use th is gate with pets whose heads will not fit into openings in the gate, between the gate and floor, or between the gate and wall.
