Sleep Mode

When opening the box for the first time, the watch may be in SLEEP MODE.
(Watch shows 1 O’CLOCK)

  1. Press & hold the 4 O’CLOCK and 2 O’CLOCK buttons simultaneously for five seconds to exit SLEEP MODE

The watch hands will automatically rotate to the correct time.
To re-enter SLEEP MODE, repeat step 1.

Setting the Alarm

  1. Press & hold the 4 O’CLOCK button until the watch says, SET ALARM, PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.
  2. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button. The watch will respond PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET HOUR, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM.
  3. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to cycle through the hours
  4. Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to confirm the alarm hour.  The watch will respond PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET MINUTE, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM.
  5. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to cycle through the minutes
  6. Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to confirm the alarm minute. The watch will respond with the set alarm time.

NOTICE: Setting an alarm will sound the siren at the same time every day. To turn off the alarm, follow “ALARM ON/OFF” Instructions.
The alarm siren will sound for 30 seconds. To turn off the alarm siren, press any button.

2 O’CLOCK BUTTON

  • Press the button once for spoken HOUR & MINUTE
  • Press the button twice for spoken CALENDAR
  • Press the button three times for spoken RECEPTION STATUS

4 O’CLOCK BUTTON

  • Press the button once for spoken ALARM TIME & ON/OFF STATUS

CROWN

  • Use to manually reset watch hands to 12 O’CLOCK position

Turn Alarm (ON / OFF)

  1. Press & hold the 4 O’CLOCK button until the watch says, SET ALARM, PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

  2.  Press the 4 O’CLOCK button.
    The watch will respond ALARM ON/OFF, PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

  3.  Press the 2 O’CLOCK button
    The watch will respond PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO ON OR OFF, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM

  4.  Press the 2 O’CLOCK to toggle ON/OFF the alarm.

  5. Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to confirm ON/OFF status.
    The watch will respond CONFIRM.

Turn Hourly Announcement (ON / OFF)

  1. Press & hold the 4 O’CLOCK button until the watch says, SET ALARM, PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

  2. Press the 4 O’CLOCK button twice.
    The watch will respond CHIME ON/OFF, PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

  3. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button.
    The watch will respond PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO ON OR OFF, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM.

  4.  Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to toggle ON/OFF the Hourly Announcement.

  5. Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to confirm ON/OFF status.
    The watch will respond CONFIRM.

NOTICE: When the Hourly Announcement is turned [ON], the watch will announce the hour, every hour from 6AM to 10PM.

Manually Set Region

The watch region can be manually set when there is no signal.

  1. Press & hold the 4 O’CLOCK button until the watch says, SET ALARM, PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

  2. Press the 4 O’CLOCK button three times.
    The watch will respond TO SELECT COUNTRY OR REGION, PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

  3. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button.
    The watch will respond PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM.

  4.  Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to cycle through COUNTRIES & REGIONS.

  5. Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to confirm.

Manually Set Time

The watch time can be manually set when there is no signal

  1. Press & hold the 4 O’CLOCK button until the watch says, SET ALARM, PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

  2.  Press the 4 O’CLOCK button four times.
    The watch will respond SET TIME, PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

  3. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button.
    The watch will respond PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET HOUR, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM.

  4.  Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to cycle through hours.

  5. Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to confirm the hour.
    The watch will respond PRESS THE 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET MINUTES, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM.

  6. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to cycle through minutes.

  7. Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to confirm the minute.
    The watch hands will automatically rotate to match the manual time set and the watch will respond with the time.

Set Date

  1. Press & hold the 4 O’CLOCK button until the watch says, SET ALARM, PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

  2. Press the 4 O’CLOCK button five times.
    The watch will respond SET DATE, PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

  3. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button.
    The watch will respond PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET YEAR, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM.

  4. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to cycle through years.

  5. Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to confirm the year.
    The watch will respond PRESS THE 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET THE MONTH, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM.

  6. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to cycle through the months.

  7. Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to confirm the month.
    The watch will respond PRESS THE 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET THE DAY, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM.

  8. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to cycle through the days.

  9. Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to confirm the day.
    The watch will respond with the date once the setting has been completed.

Troubleshooting: Resetting the Watch Hands
Hard knocks and vibrations may cause the watch hands to move irregularly and result in the incorrect time being displayed.
To reset the watch hands:

  1. Pull out the crown when the SECONDS HAND reaches 12 O’CLOCK.
  2. Rotate the crown until the HOURS HAND & MINUTES HAND reaches 12 O’CLOCK
  3. Press & hold the 2 O’CLOCK button for 5 seconds, then push in the crown.
    The watch hands will automatically spin to match the internal time signal of your location.

Troubleshooting: No Signal

If the watch has no signal, it will function like a standard watch until there is signal.
Reasons why the watch is unable to get signal may include but are not limited to:

  • Being outside of the UK
  • Being in a high build-up area.
  • Metal objects blocking the signal.
  • Computer or Television interference.

Reset Signal

  1. Press & hold the 2 O’CLOCK button until the seconds hand rotates to 12:00:00.
    The watch will stop for 5 minutes whilst it gains signal. After gaining signal, the watch will resume to normal time.

  2. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button three times to check the reception status.
    If reception is successful, the watch will respond TIME UPDATED.
    If the reception was unsuccessful, the watch will respond TIME NOT UPDATED.

Low Battery

When the battery is low, the watch may function incorrectly. Signs that the watch may be running low on battery include:

  • The watch hands move slowly
  • The talking function no longer works
  • The watch hands stop

Replacing the Battery

Tools required:
1x Philips Screwdriver
1x CR2032 Battery

  1. Remove the 4x Philips screws from the case back.
  2. Remove the case back.
  3. Lift the battery strap
  4. Remove the CR2032 battery.
  5. Replace the CR2032 battery.
  6. Close the battery strap.
  7. Reinstall the case back & screws.

Complete the battery replacement process by following “RESET WATCH HANDS” instructions 1 to 3.

Battery Disposal

Follow local disposal/recycling regulations when disposing of the watch battery. Contact CareCo if further advice is needed regarding recycling & disposal.
