Button Functions

2 O’CLOCK BUTTON

• Press the button once for spoken HOUR & MINUTE

4 O’CLOCK BUTTON

• Press the button once for spoken CALENDAR

8 O’CLOCK BUTTON

• Press & hold the button to access different MODES found within this instruction manual

10 O’CLOCK BUTTON

• Press the button once for spoken ALARM TIME & ON/OFF STATUS

Sleep Mode

When opening the box for the first time, the watch may be in SLEEP MODE.
(Watch face shows SHIP)

1. Press & hold the 2 O’CLOCK and 8 O’CLOCK buttons simultaneously for five seconds to exit SLEEP MODE

The watch face will return to digital format.
To re-enter SLEEP MODE, repeat step 1.

Setting the Alarm

1. Press & hold the 8 O’CLOCK button until the watch says, SET ALARM, PRESS 10 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

2. Press the 10 O’CLOCK button.
   The watch will respond PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET HOUR, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON FOR MINUTES, 8 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM.

3. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to cycle through the hours Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to cycle through the minutes.

4. Press the 8 O’CLOCK button to confirm alarm time.
   The watch will respond with the set alarm time.

The alarm siren will sound for 30 seconds. To turn off the alarm siren, press any button.
NOTICE: Setting an alarm will sound the siren at the same time every day.
To turn off the alarm, follow “ALARM ON/OFF” Instructions.

Turn Alarm (ON / OFF)

1. Press & hold the 8 O’CLOCK button until the watch says, SET ALARM, PRESS 10 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

2. Press the 8 O’CLOCK button.
   The watch will respond ALARM ON/OFF, PRESS 10 O’CLOCK BUTTON
   TO SET.

3. Press the 10 O’CLOCK button
   The watch will respond PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO ON, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO OFF, 8 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM

4. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to toggle [ON] the alarm.
   Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to toggle [OFF] the alarm.

5. Press the 8 O’CLOCK button to confirm [ON/OFF] status.
   The watch will respond CONFIRM.

Turn Hourly Announcement (ON / OFF)

1. Press & hold the 8 O’CLOCK button until the watch says, SET ALARM, PRESS 10 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

2. Press the 8 O’CLOCK button twice.
   The watch will respond CHIME ON/OFF, PRESS 10 O’CLOCK BUTTON
   TO SET.

3. Press the 10 O’CLOCK button.
   The watch will respond PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO ON, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO OFF, 8 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM.

4. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to toggle [ON] the Hourly Announcement
   Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to toggle [OFF] the Hourly Announcement

5. Press the 8 O’CLOCK button to confirm [ON/OFF] status.
   The watch will respond CONFIRM.

NOTICE: When the Hourly Announcement is turned [ON], the watch will announce the hour, every hour from 6AM to 10PM.

Set Time

1. Press & hold the 8 O’CLOCK button until the watch says, SET ALARM, PRESS 10 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

2. Press the 8 O’CLOCK button three times.
   The watch will respond SET TIME, PRESS 10 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

3. Press the 10 O’CLOCK button.
   The watch will respond PRESS 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET HOUR, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON FOR MINUTES, 8 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM.

4. Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to cycle through hours.
   Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to cycle through minutes.

5. Press the 8 O’CLOCK button to confirm.
   The watch will respond with the time.

Set Date

1. Press & hold the 8 O’CLOCK button until the watch says, SET ALARM, PRESS 10 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

2. Press the 8 O’CLOCK button four times.

3. The watch will respond SET DATE, PRESS 10 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET.

4. Press the 10 O’CLOCK button.

5. The watch will respond PRESS 10 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO SET YEAR, 2 O’CLOCK BUTTON FOR MONTH, 4 O’CLOCK BUTTON FOR DAY, 8 O’CLOCK BUTTON TO CONFIRM.

6. Press the 10 O’CLOCK button to cycle through years.
   Press the 2 O’CLOCK button to cycle through months.
   Press the 4 O’CLOCK button to cycle through days.

7. Press the 8 O’CLOCK button to confirm.
   The watch will respond with the date.

Battery Lifetime

Troubleshooting: Low Battery

When the battery is low, the watch may function incorrectly. Signs that the watch may be running low on battery include:

• The talking function no longer works
• The watch stops working completely

Replacing the Battery

Tools required:
1x Philips Screwdriver
1x CR2032 Battery

1. Remove the 4x Philips screws from the case back.
2. Remove the case back.
3. Lift the battery strap
4. Remove the CR2032 battery.
5. Replace the CR2032 battery.
6. Close the battery strap.
7. Reinstall the case back & screws.

Battery Disposal:

Follow local disposal/recycling regulations when disposing of the watch battery. Contact CareCo if further advice is needed regarding recycling & disposal.
