OPERATION

Before the first coffee

  1. Fill the water tank to the maximum amount of water.
  2. Boil water once or twice and then dispose it.
  3. The glass jar, funnel, filter, and all parts that come into contact with water and coffee should be thoroughly cleaned with warm water and soap.

Coffee brewing

  1. Lift the water tank cover and fill it with potable water.

  2. Place the funnel in its bracket, make sure it is positioned correctly, and then fit the filter.

  3. Add the right amount of coffee powder in the filter. You can increase or decrease the amount of coffee powder to your liking.

  4. Gently shake the funnel and filter to distribute the coffee evenly; then, close the water tank cover and make sure it is positioned correctly.

  5. Insert the glass jar into the heating plate.

  6. Connect the machine to the mains and the display will show 12:00.

  7. Press the power button on the control panel twice and the red-light indicator will light up. Then, the coffee machine will start operating.

  8. During the brewing process, you can press the power button at any time to stop operation.
Note: the coffee will stop dripping automatically, but the extraction time from the glass jar should not exceed 30 seconds to prevent the coffee from overflowing over the rim of the funnel.

  9. Do not open the water tank cover during the brewing process to avoid getting burnt by steam or damaging the coffee machine due to the backflow of hot water.

  10. Wait until the coffee has finished dripping so that you can remove the glass jar, pour the coffee in, and enjoy it.
Note: since coffee powder absorbs a certain amount of water, the amount of coffee poured may be lower. The heating plate will be very hot during operation – do not touch it!

  11. The keep-warm function will be activated, and the machine will switch off automatically after 40 minutes if no further operation is performed. If you are not going to use the coffee machine for a long time, unplug it.

Note:

  • The water level should not exceed the maximum mark or fall below the minimum mark on the tank.
  • Do not immerse the machine or power cord in water or other liquids to avoid any danger. The temperature of freshly brewed coffee is very high, so be careful when pouring it to avoid getting burnt.
