  • The base station will power on automatically when the USB is plugged in.
  • Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to turn on/off the base station.

Add(pair) a new sensor

If you want to add additional motion sensors you need to pair the motion sensors with the base station. Please refer to the following steps.

  • First power on the base station and then press and hold the Mode button for 3 seconds to enter the pairing mode Zone A flashes quickly for 30 seconds and waits for pairing. Short press the power button to exit the pairing mode.
  • Power on the motion sensor and wave your hand in front of the sensor eye to trigger the motion sensor so that you can see a red light flash once in the sensor eye.
  • The base station will produce a unique tone to indicate that the pairing has been successful. The zone number will be increased automatically, e.g. Zone A -> Zone B -> Zone C ->Zone D.
  • You can also specify this zone number manually by pressing and holding the Mode for 3S to enter the pairing mode and then short press the Mode button to change the zone number that is your favourite, then waving your hand to trigger the motion sensor to complete the pairing.

Note

  1. You need to pair the motion sensor with the base station when you use it the first time.
  2. Each channel has independent music tips for easy differentiation.

Arm/Disarm Mode

Arm and Disarm mode when the base station is on.
Arm Mode: Sound and red LED indication alarm at the same time and the green LED of the power indicator is always on to show the status.
Disarm Mode: There is only a light indication and no audible alarm when the motion sensor is triggered and the green LED of the power indicator flashes to show the disarm status.
Note: The base station is in arm mode by default and the green LED of the power indicator is always on.

Adjust the volume level of the base station

  • Press the Volume+Nolume- button to change the volume level of the base station.

HP out

  • If you don’t want to disturb others, you can use the headphone output that will cut off the speaker.

Low battery prompt

  • If the battery of the base station is low, the red power indicator on the base station will flash quickly. It with voice prompt: “Base low battery, please charge”.
  • Please charge the battery in time.
  • If the battery of the motion sensor is low, the zone number indicator on the base station will flash quickly.
  • It with voice prompt: “Zone A/B/C/D Low Battery, please charge”.
  • Please charge the battery in time.

Battery charging

Base station

  • Charging mode: the red power LED is always on.
  • Full Charge: the red power LED will turn off and the green LED will keep on.

Motion Sensor

  • Charging mode: the red indicator flashes
  • Full Charge: the red power LED will turn off.

Clear pairing lists from the base station

  • In the state of “power off”, Press and hold the Mode button on the base station and then plug in the USB power until the four-zone indicators turn off in sequence, the pairing list will be clear. If you want to continue to use it, you need to pair it again.

How to install the motion sensor

Installation method

  • Fix the hanging wallboard of the motion sensor on the wall/tree or the flat surface of other objects with the screws in the accessories.

lnstallation environment confirmation

  • The motion sensor uses a Pyroelectric infrared sensor to detect the infrared radiation temperature change of a moving object.
  • The infrared changes around the installation environment have a great impact on it, so there are the following requirements for the installation environment:
  1. The sensor detection range cannot have an air cooler or warm fan and other interference infrared changes, it is best not to have trees.
  2. Avoid direct infrared sensor eyes of sunlight, car headlights, incandescent lamps, etc ..
  3. Between the sensor and the detection object to avoid glass and allylic and other substances difficult to pass through the far infrared.
  4. The sensor cannot be used to detect a heat source that is not moving or moving at high speed.
  5. Electromagnetic interference or obstacles will reduce the wireless distance. Please avoid too many trees, walls and other obstacles between the sensor and the base station, and there must be no metal obstacles.

Motion sensor mounting height

NOTE

  1. The recommended installation height is 5-7 ft.
  2. The installation angle should be adjusted according to the height and distance of the object to be measured and the detection environment.

Troubleshooting

The sensor is not sensitive or misreported

  • Environmental impact of installation: Between the sensor and the detected object, should avoid glass, allyl and other substances that are difficult to pass through the far infrared.
  • The detection range of the sensor should not be disturbed by infrared changes such as air cooler or heater.
  • It is related to the moving direction of the object, the vertical direction of PIR is the most sensitive, and radial motion is not sensitive.
  • Installation height and Angle: The recommended installation height is 5-7 ft. The Angle should be adjusted according to the height, distance and detection environment of the detected object.
  • Whether the transparent lens of the detection window is scratched or dirty will affect the sensitivity of the induction.
  • The detection distance may be affected by the ambient temperature. Try to select high sensitivity for confirmation.

The sensors are installed indoors, it cannot be charged by solar power

  • The sensor working time is about 1 year on a single full charge.
  • Before installation, you are advised to fully charge the battery.
  • It can also work while charging. Try to install it in an outdoor sunny position.

After a period of use, the sensor does not work

  • The product is completely sealed and waterproof. Check whether the silicone seal is not well covered, Causing rainwater to run in, making the circuit components damaged and can not work .
  • The installation environment causes the detector can not work. The detection window should not be covered by anything.
  • The PIR Sensor was damaged and cannot work (due to drop and vibration during transportation or installation)

The alarm misreported

  • The first step is to eliminate whether the alarm is caused by the installation environment or not, you can try to cover the detection window with something, if it stops ringing, it can be judged as caused by environmental reasons, please refer to the Installation Environment Confirmation part of the instruction manual to exclude environmental impact.
  • Try to reduce sensitivity and see if the problem can be eliminated.
  • A PIR Sensor is a sensitive device. Direct drop of the product may cause damage to the Sensor, which must be avoided during installation.
  • If the above methods can not eliminate the problem, please contact our after-sales Team for technical support or replacement.

Sensor wireless coverage is small

  • Obstacle-free-wireless transmission distance up to 1/2 mile.
  • However, if there are too many trees, tall buildings, walls, metal and other obstacles between the base station and the sensor, or electromagnetic interference, the wireless distance will be reduced, and the installation position should be avoided as far as possible.
