MENACO GEN1 for KIA and HYUNDAImenaco GEN 1.0 Multimedia Car
Multimedia Software

Universal software package  to run third‐party navigation software  in standard car multimedia and navigation systems

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  1. For  security  reasons,  and  to  avoid  property  damage,  be  sure  to  follow  safety  precautions  when  using  the  multimedia device (hereinafter referred to as the “headunit”), defined by the manufacturer or the dealer from  whom you purchased the car.
  2. Software installation or update shall be made with the engine running. During installation do NOT turn off the  engine, do NOT drive the car, do NOT switch a neutral transmission into reverse (switch to rear camera)! These actions may cause interruption of installation and completely destroy the headunit.
  3. Install  the  software  and  send  the  file  to  obtain  a  license  key  only  on  computers  running  Windows.  MAC  devices (iMAC when unpacking archives, iPhone when sending files) distort files and cause problems.
  4. Prepare  a  blank  USB  stick  on  4‐32  GB  (to  store  navigation  maps,  as  well  as  your  audio  and  video  files).  Familiarize the useful tips for USB Stick.

The Monaco installation process to the GEN1 headunit consists of 4 main steps:

  1. Check and update (if necessary) the current firmware version.
  2. Download the installation files and unzip them to the USB stick.
  3. Insert the USB stick drive into the USB connector of the car multimedia (automatic installation will start).
