TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE:
With these instant ink cartridges, the customer will get a credit or a prepaid card of £10. Which they will get credited to the Instant Ink account after completing the enrolment. These cartridges are for the UK market and not meant for the other markets. If a customer from Ireland purchases this cartridge from UK website or from UK, they can still enrol for instant ink and use these cartridges. But they might not be able to use or get the prepaid card of £10 as the currency is different.
The instant ink cartridges are usually big in size compared to the regular or XL trade cartridges. The customers usually get confused looking at the size and think they are big and will not fit in the printer. These instant ink cartridges do fit properly in the printers that are compatible and instant ink eligible.
If the customer has installed these cartridges and enrolled for Instant Ink, the system will monitor the ink levels and ship the cartridges to the customer automatically when the cartridges run low on ink. For that the customer should have the printer connected to the network with internet access and the printer should be communicating with the HP Server to monitor the ink levels. If the printer is not connected or not communicating with the HP Server, then the systems will not be able to monitor the ink levels and ship the cartridges to the customer on time, when they run low on ink.
