Get Started with HUAWEI Vision

Program Your Remote

Pair the remote control with the HUAWEI Vision:

When powering on for the first time:

On the startup wizard screen, follow the onscreen instructions to press and hold the Smart button   and Menu button   on the remote control until the HUAWEI Vision displays Pairing… indicating that pairing has started.

After replacing the remote control:

Power off the HUAWEI Vision and power it on, then press and hold the Smart button   and Menu button   on the remote control until the HUAWEI Vision displays Pairing… indicating that pairing has started.

  • Do not move the old remote control when pairing the new one with the HUAWEI Vision.
  • After the new remote control is paired with the HUAWEI Vision, the old one won’t be able to control the HUAWEI Vision anymore.
  • Once paired with the HUAWEI Vision, the remote control doesn’t need to pair with the HUAWEI Vision again after the HUAWEI Vision is powered off and powered on, no matter how long the HUAWEI Vision is powered off for.

If pairing fails, contact the after-sales service for help.

Mirror Phone to Vision

How to share my phone screen to the Vision via a OneHop projection:

You can tap your phone against the remote control to quickly project your phone screen onto your Vision.

  • Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled on your phone.
  • Make sure your phone screen is unlocked and turned on throughout the connection process.
  • Turn on Wireless Projection on your phone.
  • Turn on Multi-Screen on your Vision from Settings > Connections > Multi-Screen.
  • Only some Huawei phones running EMUI 9.1 or later support the OneHop projection feature.

Method:

  1. Ensure that the Vision screen is on. On your phone, swipe down from the status bar to display the notification panel and enable NFC.

  2. Tap the NFC area on the back of your phone against the lower front side of the remote control. Wait for 2 to 3 seconds until the name of your Vision is displayed on your phone. Touch to select your Vision.

  3. If it is the first time that you are connecting your phone to the Vision, click Connect on the Vision. Your phone screen will then be displayed on the Vision.

To disconnect your phone, press the back button on the remote control.

Bluetooth Pairing Issues

The HUAWEI Vision is unable to detect or connect to Bluetooth earphones or speakers:

Problem:

The HUAWEI Vision cannot detect Bluetooth devices such as Bluetooth earphones and speakers.

Solution:

  1. Before connecting a Bluetooth device to connect to the Vision:
  2. Make sure that the Bluetooth device is powered on, has sufficient power, and is within the 10 meters of the Vision.
  3. Ensure that the Bluetooth device is discoverable.

Actual operations to set your Bluetooth device to be discoverable vary according to the device brand and model. Refer to the following table for the Bluetooth settings of some products. Follow the instructions in the user guide or consult the hotline service for more information.

If the Bluetooth device cannot be found after you manually unpair it, make the Bluetooth device discoverable again.
