Unable to power on
Power your watch on and off:
If you have troubles powering your watch on or off, perform the following to resolve the issue.
What to do if your watch cannot be powered on
If this issue occurs, connect your watch to the charger and charge your watch for at least 10 minutes then check whether it can be powered on. Use a charger with a voltage of at least 5 V and a current of at least 1 A (this should be written on the charger).
What to do if your watch crashes or the screen goes black
If this issue occurs, hold the Up button for at least 16 seconds to force restart your watch.
If your watch screen stays black, it may happen because your watch has run out of battery. Charge your watch to power it back on.

*To update your watch, connect your watch to HUAWEI Health , touch Devices and then your device name, then select Firmware update > Check for updates. Touch UPDATE to update the watch if there are any available updates.

Measure your SpO2
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 series surprises us with a versatile selection of handy workout features, and stands out with its fabulous SpO2 measurement feature. Check your SpO2 and other comprehensive health data just by raising your wrist.
Importance of SpO2:
Blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) is a useful indicator of a person’s health. It represents the percentage of hemoglobin in the blood that contains oxygen. Decrease in SpO2 levels can cause harm to your health.
With the help of the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2, you can have a better understanding of your health status by knowing your SpO2. This can be particular important for elderly people, people who have a history of snoring, over-exhaust their brains regularly, and people living at higher altitudes and other areas with lower oxygen levels.
How to measure SpO2:
1. Make sure you are wearing your watch properly and avoid placing it directly over the joint, check that the heart rate sensor on the watch is up against your skin and there are no foreign objects between the watch and your wrist.
2. Hold still and press the Up button to enter the app list. Swipe on the screen and select SpO2 to start a measurement.
* If you are not wearing the watch or are not wearing it properly, a message will be displayed. Follow the onscreen instructions to adjust the watch’s position, and then touch Retry to start measuring your SpO2 again.
3. The watch’s measurement range is 70%–100%. Lower results could indicate a health risk.
If the SpO2 results are higher than 90% it will be green .
The part marked in orange stands for SpO2 levels between 70% and 89% .
Your watch will automatically measure your SpO2 after you have started a mountain hike or skiing. Swipe up or down on the workout screen to view your SpO2.
* The measurement results are for reference only and are not intended for medical use.
* Certain external factors may interfere with the measurement, causing it to be inaccurate or even fail.
* The measurement will be interrupted if you swipe right on the watch screen, start a workout with the HUAWEI Health app, or receive a notification for an incoming call or alarm.
Viewing data and guidance in HUAWEI Health:
You can view your SpO2 in the HUAWEI Health app and get corresponding guidance, to better understand your health.
1. Open the HUAWEI Health app, touch SpO2 and view the corresponding data.
2. Touch to learn more about SpO2 and how to get more accurate measurements.
Stay tuned to your health by tracking your SpO2 with HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 series.

Enjoy a Good Night’s Sleep:
Your watch is not only a good assistant for your workouts, it can help you with your sleep too. It can help track your sleep and analyse your sleep data. Connect your watch to HUAWEI Health to get scientific suggestions and guidance for better sleep.
Get comprehensive sleep data displayed clearly:
Wear your watch to sleep and your watch will identify different sleep stages including the time you fall asleep, wake up, and enter or exit deep sleep, and sync the corresponding data to the HUAWEI Health app. The recording period is from 8:00 PM the first day to 8:00 PM the following day, 24 hours in total.
Viewing sleep data for the current day : Press the Up button to enter the app list, then touch Sleep , swipe up on the screen to view the duration of your Sleep and Naps.
Viewing historical sleep data : Open the HUAWEI Health app, touch Sleep on the Health screen to view your data by day, week, month, or year.
*If sleep lasted less than 3 hours and occurred during the day, it will be recorded as a nap. If you nap for a short time, like less than 30 minutes, or if your wrist moves a lot while sleeping, the watch may not detect that you are asleep. In this case, it will not record any sleep data.
Providing scientific sleep advice for better sleep quality
Once you have enabled HUAWEI TruSleep™ , your watch will automatically identify your sleep status, as well as accurately record and analyze how long each stage lasts including deep sleep, light sleep, REM, wake times, and breathing quality. You can view sleep quality analysis and improvement suggestions in the HUAWEI Health app to sleep better.
Enable HUAWEI TruSleep™
Open the HUAWEI Health , touch Devices then your device name, go to Health monitoring > HUAWEI TruSleep™ and enable HUAWEI TruSleep™.
When your watch detects that you are sleeping, it will automatically disable Always On Display, notifications, incoming call notifications, Raise to wake, and other features in order to avoid disturbing your sleep.
*Enabling HUAWEI TruSleep™ may reduce the battery life. HUAWEI TruSleep™ will not be affected when your phone is powered off or Do Not Disturb is enabled in the HUAWEI Health app.
Wear your watch properly to ensure that you can track your sleep data:
If it isn’t worn properly, it may affect the accuracy of the data. To avoid missing or inaccurate sleep data, please pay attention to the following:
Fasten your watch so it is in contact with your skin : When you sleep, wear your watch tightly on your wrist. Otherwise, your watch may not be able to monitor and record your sleep data.
Avoid excessive wrist movement while asleep : If your wrist moves too much, the sensor will determine that you are not asleep, resulting in missing data. It is recommended that you wear your watch on your non-dominant wrist while sleeping.
Sleep for long periods of time : If the duration is less than 30 minutes, the watch may not be able to detect that you are asleep. It is recommended that you sleep for at least 30 minutes while wearing your wearable device to ensure that sleep data is recorded.
*If the issue persists, bring your device and proof of purchase to an authorised HUAWEI Customer Service Center for assistance.
Let your watch help you sleep better.
