Product Information

The OBS Studio is a software application used for video and audio capturing. It allows users to capture and record video from various sources, such as webcams, capture cards, and other devices. With OBS Studio, users can create professional-looking live streams, record gameplay, and produce high-quality videos.

  • Video Capturing Configuration
    • Open OBS Studio.
    • In the Source section, click on the + button.
    • Select Video Capture Device.
    • Assign a name for your source or use the default name.
    • Click OK.
    • Select your device from the Device drop-down list.
    • Click OK.
  • Configure the following settings based on your device specifications and preferences:
    • FPS: Select 60 (recommended). Higher or lower frame rates are also available.
    • Video Format: Select YUY2 (recommended). Other formats may be available depending on your device’s support.
    • Color Space: Select Default (recommended).
    • Color Range: Select Default (recommended).
    • Buffering: Select Auto-Detect (recommended).
    • Audio Output Mode: Select Capture audio only (recommended).
    • Click OK to complete the settings.
  • Audio Capturing Configuration
    • Open OBS Studio.
    • In the Source section, click on the + button.
    • Select Audio Input Capture.
    • Assign a name for your source or use the default name.
    • Click OK.
    • Select your device from the audio device list.
    • Click OK.
    • In the lower-left corner of the Audio Mixer, select Advanced Audio Properties.
    • A popup setting window will appear.
    • Select Audio Input Capture in the video capture device row.
    • Select Monitor and Output.
    • Click Close.

Video Capturing Configuration

  • Step 3: Select your device from the “Device” drop-down list and click “OK”. The corresponding capture card name may be “USB Video ”,”HDMI Capture”, “UGREEN HDMI Capture” or “UGREEN XXXXX”.

  • Step 4:
    As the picture shows:

    • Resolution/FPS Type: Select “Custom”.
    • Resolution: Select “1920×1080” (recommended). Higher or lower resolution is also available based on device specifications and preferred needs.
    • FPS: Select “60” (recommended). A higher or lower frame rate is also available based on device specifications and preferred needs.
    • Video Format: Select “YUY2” (recommended). Other formats are also available if your device supports them.
    • Color Space: Select “Default” (recommended).
    • Color Range: Select “Default” (recommended).
    • Buffering: Select the default “Auto-Detect” (recommended).

  • Step 2:

  • Step 3:
    • Select your device from the audio device list and click “OK”.
    • The corresponding capture card name may be”USB Digital Audio”, “Capture Audio” or,“UGREEN
    • HDMI Capture”or”UGREEN XXXXX”.

  • Step 4:

  • Step 5:
