Unable to enroll fingerprint
Enrolling and removing a fingerprint on the computer:
This operation only applies to laptops or desktop computers that support Fingerprint recognition.

Press Win + I to open the Settings screen and select Accounts.

Select Sign-in options.

Go to Fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello) > Set up or Add a finger, enter the PIN, and follow the onscreen instructions to enroll your fingerprint.

It is recommended that you set an account password and PIN first. If you have not set an account password or PIN, you will not be able to click Settings under Fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello).

A maximum of 10 fingerprints can be enrolled for each account.

Your PC supports 360 degree fingerprint enrollment. Try to enroll all areas of your fingerprint to improve matching accuracy.

Click Remove under Fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello) to remove all fingerprints.

Once you click Remove , all enrolled fingerprints will be deleted.
System activation
Your computer is pre-installed with Windows 11 Home. Make sure that your computer has Internet access for Windows to be automatically activated.
If you change your system to the official Windows 11 Home, you can also use this method to activate the system.
To check whether your computer is activated, perform the following steps:
- Press Win** + R** to display the Run window. Enter “slmgr.vbs -xpr”. (Please note that there is a space between slmgr.vbs** and -xpr** ). Click OK.
- If a dialog box displays the message “ The machine is permanently activated “, it indicates that your computer has been activated.
If your computer is not activated, you can perform the following steps to manually activate the system:
- Connect your computer to a network. Right-click on the Windows icon located on the desktop and select Windows PowerShell (Admin) (Please note that you must select the option containing “Admin”). Alternatively, enter “Windows PowerShell” in the search box on the taskbar and click Run as administrator.
- Enter wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey****. The product key will be displayed in this format: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. (Please note that the product key is case insensitive, so take care to enter it correctly.)
- Press Win** + I** to open the Settings screen, go to System > Activate now , click Change next to Change product key , and enter a product key.
If you are unable to activate Windows, back up your computer’s data and press F10**** during startup to restore your computer to its factory settings. Once completed, try to activate Windows again.
Data in the C drive will be cleared after the system is reset. Regularly back up your data stored in this drive.
Unable to find Bluetooth device
There is a chance that the computer cannot search for the Bluetooth device or connect to the device when the computer has been connected to multiple Bluetooth devices:
Problem
After connecting the Bluetooth mouse to the computer and playing music and
transferring files using Bluetooth, the user searches for other Bluetooth
devices, but there is a possibility that the user cannot find the external
device or cannot connect the computer to the external device.
Cause
The allocated resources are insufficient when connecting to a Bluetooth mouse,
listening to music via Bluetooth earphones, transferring files, or using
Bluetooth bandwidth, which may affect the establishment of the connection.
Solution
Cancel the Bluetooth transfer process or search for devices again.

Setting up the computer and powering on the computer:

After you have taken out the computer from the packaging, connect the keyboard and mouse to the USB-A port, use an HDMI cable or a VGA port to connect the display, then connect the power cable to the power port.
- If you are using a HUAWEI Ultra-Slim Wired Keyboard with Fingerprint, connect it to the USB-A port on the rear side of the computer. After you have enrolled your fingerprint, tap the fingerprint key on the keyboard to unlock it and log in at the same time.
- The display and some models of keyboard and mouse need to be purchased separately.

After the basic setup is complete, connect the computer to a power supply and press the Power button to restart the computer. After the computer is powered on, follow the onscreen instructions to configure settings for the computer for the first time.

Connecting two displays to a computer:

Connect the HDMI cable and VGA cable to two different displays.

Connect the other ends of the HDMI and VGA cables to the HDMI and VGA ports on a computer. L

Power on the computer and displays. Click the action center icon in the lower right corner of the computer screen and select Project. In the displayed project list, select the projection mode you want to use.
- PC screen only : Display 1 displays all content, and Display 2 does not display any content.
- Duplicate : The same content is displayed on both displays.
- Extend : Display 1 displays all content, and Display 2 displays the system interface. You can move an app to be displayed on Display 2.
- Second screen only : Display 2 displays all content, and Display 1 does not display any content.

If your computer cannot detect two displays, right-click in a blank area on the home screen and select Display settings. On the Display screen, click Detect to automatically detect the displays that have been connected to your computer. Click Identify to view which display is Display 1 and which display is Display 2.
