Preparing the Device for Use
PLEASE NOTE!
- Only connect the device to a plug socket that is properly installed and matches the technical data of the device. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated.
- Lay the connection in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
-
Place the device on a dry, even, and fi rm surface. If the device is used on a carpet, make sure that the ventilation openings on the bottom of the device remain clear.
Protect sensitive fl or coverings on which the device is placed with a mat if necessary.
Depending on your body size, leave plenty of space on all sides of the training device (at least 1 meter to the sides, 2 meters above) so that you have enough room to move about during a workout. Furthermore, the free area in the direction from which you access the training device must be at least 0.6 m greater than the exercise area. The free area must include the space required for an emergency dismount. If training devices are set up in the immediate vicinity of one another, they can share one free area. -
First, connect the connection to the socket (5) of the device and then to a properly installed, easily accessible plug socket.
Attaching / Detaching Expander Bands
Attach the expander bands to the device for advanced exercises for the muscles
in your upper body, e. g biceps or triceps curls.
- Turn over the device so that the bottom is pointing upwards.
- Attach the spring hooks to the mounting eyelets (3).
- Then place the device back on its feet (4).
IMPORTANT! When the expander bands are not being used, always take them off.
Using the Device
PLEASE NOTE!
-
Stop using the device immediately if you start to feel weak or dizzy. If you feel sick, have pain in your chest or arms, have an irregular heartbeat, or have other unusual symptoms, seek medical attention immediately.
-
CAUTION – Danger of Crushing! Never place your hands and feet between the frame and the vibrating plate while the device is in operation.
-
When doing the exercises, wear loose, comfortable clothing and non-slip trainers.
-
Start with the slowest vibration level and gradually increase the level of intensity.
We explicitly point out that improper use of the device and excessive use can be detrimental to your health. -
Do not kneel, stamp or jump on the vibrating plate to prevent injuries and damage to the device.
-
Do not stand on just one side of the vibrating plate. This would cause the device not to work properly and it could tip over.
Training Programmes
Ten automatic training programs are stored in the device. Each program has a
diff erent sequence of diff erent vibration strengths. Programs 0 and 1 are
intended for
beginners.
For a varied workout, we recommend that you choose a training program. Proceed
as follows to do this:
- After switching on the device, press the P button (18) on the control panel (1) or the P button (21) on the remote control repeatedly until the program number (0 to 9) that you want appears on the TIME PRO display (11) on the control panel.
- You can use the P0-3, P4-6, and P7-9 buttons (20) on the remote control to access the programs faster. For example, when you press the P7-9 button, the device skips directly to program 7. You can switch to the next program in the sequence by pressing the button again.
- To start the program you have chosen, press the START / STOP button (19) on the remote control or the button (16) on the device.
Basic Use of the Device
Only basic use of the device is described below. The various possible
applications and exercises are explained on the poster supplied with the
device.
The device can be controlled both with and without the remote control. To make
it easier to operate, we recommend using the remote control. Direct it towards
the receiver (17) of the device.
Ensure that you are properly warmed up before you use the device.
-
Flip the I / 0 main power switch (6) to position I. It lights up and the device is supplied with power. 00 appears on the SPEED display (12). If the device is in standby mode, bars fl ash on both displays. You can use the ****button on the control panel (1) to switch stand-by mode on and off.
-
Pick up the remote control or the expander bands if necessary.
-
Stand on the vibrating plate (2). When you fi first use it, stand with both feet on the inner zone (WALKING). This is where the vibrations are weakest. Subsequently, you can if you wish stand in the middle zones (JOGGING) or outer zones (RUNNING) where the vibrations are stronger. Distribute your weight evenly on both feet.
-
You can then:
– select a training program in the manner described in the “Training Programmes” section,
– set the workout time with the T-/+ buttons (22, 27) on the remote control or the TIME -/+ buttons (9, 10) on the device or
– start the device straight away (see next step). The preset workout time until the automatic stop is then 10 minutes. -
To start the device, press the START / STOP button (19) on the remote control or the button (16) on the device. The device then begins to vibrate. On the two displays
you will then see alternately:
– TIME PRO display (11): remaining workout time in minutes; active program and C0. If C0 is displayed, the calorie consumption appears next to it in the SPEED
display.
– SPEED display: active vibration level and calorie consumption (up to 99 Kcal) if C0 (or C1 – C3) appears in the TIME PRO display. If during a workout you consume more than 99 Kcal, the counter starts at 0 again, and C1 then appears in the TIME PRO display.
Add the C1 value to 99 to calculate the calorie consumption. -
Once you have selected a training program, no further settings can be made.
Otherwise, you can set the vibration level to between 1 and 99 using the buttons S-/+ (23, 28) on the remote control and SPEED -/+ (13, 14) on the device You can use
the 30, 60, and 99 buttons (26, 24, 25)) on the remote control to skip directly to the respective vibration level. -
The device stops automatically after the preset time has elapsed. However, you can stop it manually at any time using the buttons START/STOP on the remote control
or ■ (15) on the device. -
After finishing your workout, step off the vibrating plate, flip the I / 0 main power switch to position 0, and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket.
-
Clear away the device so that it does not present a trip hazard. Use the transport castor on the bottom of the device. Lift it up at the opposite end of the housing and hold
it at an angle of 45°. It can now roll.
We recommend that you then do a few loosening-up exercises.
After Training
We recommend always performing a few stretching exercises in order to slowly
restore your circulation to a normal level:
Upper body: Stand upright, cross your arms over your head and pull your left
elbow to the right with your right hand. The upper body moves gently as you do
this. Stay in this position for around 15 – 20 seconds. Change sides.
Calves : Stand up. Place your right leg in front of you and bend it
slightly while your left leg remains stretched. Push your left heel down onto
the floor. Stay in this position for around 15 – 20 seconds. Change sides.
Thighs : Stand on one leg, bend the other one and grab your foot with
your hand. Pull it up to your buttocks and hold this position for around 5 –
20 seconds. Change sides.
Sit down on the floor, turn your knees to face outwards, place the soles of
your feet together and pull towards your body. Place your hands around your
ankles and press your knees gently down to the floor with your elbows. Keep
your back straight. Stay in this position for around 5 – 20 seconds.
Back : Lie down flat on your back, bend your right leg and place it over
your left leg, your hip twists but both shoulders remain on the floor. Stay in
this position for around 5 – 20 seconds. Change sides.
Shoulders/back: Sit down cross-legged with a straight back, fold/clasp
together your hands, and stretch your arms out above your head. Stretch your
back. Stay in this position for around 15 – 20 seconds.
