CGOLDENWALL electric grinder is a machine that grinds various dried grains,
spices and herbs into fine powder.
When put into the grinding tank, the dried materials will be ground into the
powder instantly through high speed rotation of blade and tip.
Product Structure: Minor scratches and
pits cannot be avoided during the production and transportation, but please
rest assured, which will not affect the actual use. Please understand it!
And, the motor of the grinder is the brush motor. So the sparks and the odor
is normal when the first several uses.
Important Attentions Before Use
-
The materials ready for grinding must be dry enough.
Wet, moisture or materials with a lot of oil are not suitable to be ground into powder. Dry the materials as much as possible before grinding, and then grind it when it is completely cool. -
One-time Grinding Amount
Do not fill the grinding tank to full, otherwise it will cause overload.
When put into the tank, the materials must cover the long blade in the middle and no more than 2/ 3 of the tank. Because this machine needs a space to complete the cycle of the blades and the material to be grind. -
The Duration of Each Grinding Should Not Exceed 3 Minutes
Even if grinding stone, it only works for 2 minutes, so please don’t use our machine for too long. It takes 5- 10 minutes to rest after every 3 minutes of work. If you grinding some hard items, there should has a interval which is to prevent bearing overheating, damage to the motor.
- Generally speaking, grains only need 30s to be ground into powder. If you are not satisfied with the grinding effect, you could sieve out the coarse particles with a sieve and grind it again for finer powder.
4. Check whether the blade and the nut are loose before grinding. To ensure safety, the nut should be tightened. After long-term use, blades and carbon brushes need to be replaced if they are worn.
5. Don’t clean the grinding tank with the water directly. Keep water away from the grinding tank and use dried rag or brush to clean the machine.
6. The motor of the grinder is the brush motor. So the sparks and the odor is normal when the first several uses. The sparks and the brush frictional odor will disappear after you use the machine some times later. You can grind some rice or tea leaves first for several times to eliminate the odor.
7. Special Reminder:
*150g grinder machine are not suitable for grinding panax notoginseng, pearls and other tough items. - When using 30 0 g machine to grind panax notoginseng, pearls and other tough items, they should be sliced to small pieces first.
*The over 300g capacity of the machine is more recommended to choose for grinding large and hard items.
Operating Instruction
-
Operations Guide:
1. Open the upper lid and put the dried material into the tank.
2. Close the upper lid tightly; (Please make sure the lid is rotated to the end and locked tightly, otherwise the machine cannot turn on.).
3. Plug in and turn on the timer switch(Rolling sound will be heard ).
Note: The 150g grinder has no timer but a press-on switch.
4. Turn off the timer switch when you hear the sound rolling evenly which means the material has been ground into powder.
5. Disconnect power supply before opening.
6. Open the upper lid and brush the powder out. -
Grinding Cautions
It is not suitable for grinding something which is wet, fresh, soft ,strong toughness such as meat, fruits, vegetables, etc.
- To grind something more easily when the material is high-hardness, big in size, or has the strong fiber, you need to cut them into small pieces, such as notoginseng and pearl.
- For the oily items , such as peanuts, sesame, walnut, etc. You should first
dry, or fried-dry them before grinding. If you just grind a small amount ,
usually grind for 15 seconds , then stop for 10 seconds. If you need a better
grinding effect, you could do this for several times.
Notice: When first use the machine, you’d better clean the machine with dry cloth, and then put some rice or dried tea leaves into grinding tank, grind them for 30~50 seconds, then pour the power out, clean the grinding tank again. (Rice and tea leaves will act as a deodorant for there might be frictional odor caused because of the machine s brush motor.)
- Common Questions
- Why the grinder cannot start or cannot turn on
Firstly check whether the indicator light is on.
If the indicator light is not on, check whether the power supply is plugged in tightly and whether the power cord is damaged (you could replace the power cord of other household appliances to test).
For most beginners, if the grinder cannot start or cannot turn on when the first time use, the failure of this machine mainly lies in the induction switch on the lid.
Please do a simple test to check the lid before proceeding with other troubleshooting. Remove the lid, and when the power is on, turn on the timer and press the induction switch by hand.
If the machine can run normally at this time, it proves that there is no problem with the machine, but the lid is not in place, you only need to adjust the lid.
You can check the video of how to close the lid properly on the YouTube: https://youtu.be/HHE9k8KzwLE
- Or scan the following code to watch the video
Here are the steps of how to close the lid properly:
- Adjust the two screws by rotating to make it at the same level with the induction switches.
- Close the lid and make sure that the lid is rotated to the end and there is no gap among the rods, screws and buckles.
- Push the rods on the both sides to the end to make sure trigger the induction switches.
- Lock tightly the lid by reversing the two long handles and keep them down. (also for prevent powder from spilling)
* What to do if the grinder suddenly stops working?*
If the grinder stops working, the reason may be that the blades bottom is
stuck or the carbon brush is worn or the overload protector function works
because of overload .
(Besides, If the material you grind is wet and contains moisture, it will also
cause the machine to stop working. Please dry the materials as much as
possible before grinding.)
How to solve this problem:**
You just need clean the blades bottom or re-install the carbon brush on the
both sides again and then press the overload protector button again, then the
grinder could work well,
Please see the overload protector and carbon brush in the attached pictures,
please check that. * Why does the machine
overheat?
It is normal for the grinding machine to be slightly heat, because the working
principle of the machine is to pulverize the material into powder through the
high- speed rotation of the blades. The whole process is carried out in the
closed grinding tank, which will generate heat and cause the machine to heat
up.
There may be several reasons for machine overheat:
-
The materials ground is wet, moisture.
Please Dry the materials as much as possible before grinding, and then grind it when it is completely cool. -
Grinding time is too long.
The machine must take 5- 10 minutes to rest after every 3 minutes of work. If you grind some hard items, there should has a interval which is to prevent bearing overheating, damage to the motor. -
Put too much materials into the grinding tank one time.
The material you gonna to grind one time must cover the long blade in the middle and no more than 2 / 3 of the tank. Because this machine needs a space to complete the cycle of the blades and the material to be ground.
If the machine overheat makes non- working, you could also solve it by re- installing the carbon brushes on the both sides again and then pressing the overload protector button again, then the grinder could work well.

Grinding Suggestions for Common Materials
-
When using for the first time, please grind the rice and dry tea leaves first about 30 seconds by the machine, which can clean the grinding tank and remove odor, stains.
-
For Grinding Spices (such as: Chili, Pepper, Fennel, Aniseed etc.)
The grindingjob can usually be completed in 20 seconds. Do not grind for too long time. -
For Grinding Whole Grains ( such as soybeans, rice, millet, black rice, corn, etc.)
It is recommended to rotate the timer switch to about 30 seconds.
If the powder is not fine enough, you can sift out the coarse powder with a sieve and repeat the grinding. -
For Grinding Common Herbs, ( such as Ginseng, Astragalus, Ejiao, Gastrodia, etc.)
Please cut them into small pieces first for easier grinding. It is recommended to set the grinding time to 1-2 minutes. -
For Grinding Oily Materials ( such as walnuts, sesame, peanuts, etc)
Not recommended!!! Because our grinder is a dry grinder that can only process dried materials. Materials with HIGH OIL CONTENT may stick to the blades when high speed grinding
If you insist in try, before grinding, it is better to bake the oily materials in microwave (or dry in the sun). After the material is completely cool, you can grind them. The drier the material, the better the grinding effect.
And we recommend you mixing the baked oily materials with some other dry materials to grind together, such as rice or black rice, absorbs oil. Use interval grinding method, that is Pause about 5 seconds after every 10 seconds working and check the grinding effect until you are satisfied. -
For Grinding Super-hard Materials (such as pearls, tortoise shells, Tianqi, Panax notoginseng, etc.)
It is recommended to crush them into small pieces before grinding. And during grinding, pause about 10 seconds after every 1 minute working. The grindingjob can be completed in 2-3 minutes. -
For Grinding Fibrous Materials (such as Dendrobium Ganoderma lucidum, etc.)
Because this type of material itself has a fibrous structure, it cannot be ground into powder state, and usually it will be ground into flocs.
Use interval grinding method, pause about 10 seconds after every 1 minute working. Check whether the blades are stuck by flocs every minute of grinding. -
The equipment is also designed for laboratory use and suitable for grinding of dry ores.
Ores starting in the vicinity of 35 mesh can be pulverized to a consistency of flour in a matter of seconds. Pulverized material is easily removed from the grinder, and the grinder can be cleaned gently with air.
Depending on the hardness of the ore, blades may wear quickly. Please pay attention to timely replacement of blades according to actual usage. Extra blades are easily purchased by contacting us, and can be changed easily under guidance.
Instructions of Air Overload Protector
When blades are jammed in grinding tank, air overload protector will pop up
and then the machine automatically cut off the power supply.
If this situation happens, turn off the power and check the grinding tank. You
just need clean the blades bottom and press the overload protector button
again, then the grinder could work well.
How to Clean up the Grinding Tank
Note: the grinding tank is not detachable and not waterproof.
So it cannot be rinsed directly with water! Please clean up the grinding tank
with a cleaning brush first, and then wipe the inside with dry cloth. After
using blades for a long time, you could remove blades and clean them with
water. ( The blades of the new grinder might be very tight, unless severely
worn, there is no need to replace the blades.)
-
Firstly, use a screwdriver to unscrew one of the screws in the middle of grinding tank and lift it up to jam the short blade and Drive the wrench or socket counter-clockwise to loosen the locknut on the blades.
-
Secondly, wipe the grinding tank with a dry cloth after removal of the blades, and please do not rinse the inside with water directly.
Please Note: If you clean the blades by using the wet cloth or with water directly, please make sure grinding tank and the blades be dried enough before re-install the blades. -
Lastly, install the blades and tighten the locknut, it is finished.
How to Replace the Blades
Blade Replacement
- Unscrew one of the screws and lift it up to jam the short blade (Refer to the Red Arrow in the picture)
- Drive the wrench or socket counter-clockwise to loosen the locknut on the blades (Refer to the Yellow Arrow in the picture).
- Then take out the blades.
NOTE: When reinstall the blades, make sure the locknut is tightened to ensure the next safe use!
