FAQ
Q1. What should I do if the Power LED is not lighted up?
- Make sure the power adapter is connected to the switch with power source properly.
- Make sure the voltage of the power supply meets the requirements of the input voltage of the switch.
- Make sure the power source is ON.
Q2. What should I do if the Port LED is not lighted up when a device is connected to the Ethernet port?
- Make sure that the cable connectors are firmly plugged into the switch and the device.
- Make sure the connected device is turned on and works normally.
- The cable must be less than 100 meters (328 feet) long.
Q3. My connected devices cannot have access to the Internet,what should I do?
- Please make sure that the uplinked network of this switch has successful access to the Internet.
- Please toggle to use Standard mode.
- In case you need to use VLAN mode of this switch, please make sure that either port 7 or port 8 is connected to the uplink Internet, instead of port 1 – 6.
Q4. My connected devices cannot communicate with each other,what shall I
do?
Under VLAN mode, port 1 – 6 cannot communicate with each other. Please toggle
to select Standard mode.

Three Mode Toggle Setup
Please select one of the working modes which is suitable for your network deployment. It is set up in Standard mode by default.
Standard Mode
Standard:
Ports 1 – 8 can communicate with each other at speed of up to 2.5Gbps.
VLANMode
VLAN:
Ports 1 – 6 are isolated from each other, but can communicate with ports 7 –
8. Protect your network security and prevent network broadcasting storm.
Static Link Aggregation Mode
Static Link Aggregation:
Ports 7 and 8 are in the same group. They are used to connect with dual-
Ethernet-port devices such as your NAS or server, with combined Ethernet
bonding speed of up to 5Gbps with automatic failover and failback, redundant
connection.
